The war between the heavens and hell had lingered for ages, long before the dawn of time itself - endless, eternal. For millennia, the war seemed unbreakable, until the 7000th battle brought something no one could have foreseen: a chance for peace. And it was love that sparked that chance.
An archangel, a being of pure light, fell in love with a demon from the upper circles of hell. Their union was more than just a forbidden love - it became the bridge between two worlds. For the first time, angels and demons saw that peace was possible. A treaty was signed, and from the love of the archangel and the demon, the first hybrid was born: a human.
In time, humans began to lose the features of their divine and infernal ancestry. No more horns, no more wings - just people, as they appear today. They forgot the war, the angels, the demons, and even their origins. The Earth became a place of peace, with no memory of the battles that had once scarred its lands.
But peace is fragile.
The demon of the 4th circle, one who craved chaos and destruction, had grown sick of the quiet. He longed for the return of war, for the turmoil that had once been his domain. In an act of defiance, he shattered the treaty by killing a visiting angel - one who was meant to deliver a message of continued peace. With that single act of violence, the delicate truce was broken, and the ancient war reignited.
Once again, heaven and hell clashed, and Earth became their battleground. The planet, once a peaceful haven for humans, was reduced to a desolate wasteland, caught between forces far beyond their control. Humans, unaware of their divine ancestry, found themselves as pawns in this strive. But there was one hope left.
One of the few remaining humans was visited by a seraphim. The angel returned to them the memories of their true heritage - the blood of both angels and demons that flowed through their veins - and how this power would actually be the only force to combat the upper demons. With this knowledge, and the guidance of the seraphim, this human was the only one who could stand against the demonic forces and push them back into hell. Together, they would fight to save not just Earth, but the frail balance of peace that had once been achieved.
She was known to be a quiet witch, one who lived in isolation, tucked away in her own hidden world. Secluded, silent, and alone. That was her existence - until the day someone arrived at her doorstep, bloodied and bruised, teetering on the edge of death. The figure collapsed before her, their body broken beyond natural healing. Against her usual instincts, the witch agreed to help. But, as with all things in her world, everything came with a price.
To mend their shattered body, one required powerful magic - a magic that came with a hefty cost. The beast, once a creature of terrifying strength and primal force, was now bound to her as her familiar. Trapped within the body of a seemingly normal human, their beastial form was sealed away. They were no longer the creature they had once been, but the witch had her reasons for doing this. She needed them - required their strength and their protection. And they needed her, for their powers were sealed without her command.
The witching hour was approaching, a time when the hidden world of witches would be thrown into chaos. A war was brewing between the covens, and the more powerful witches would soon come for her. She was a target, marked for death by those who sought to claim her power. Soon, they would come for her head.
