so, yeah you can make them if you want they would function in a similar fashion to the capitol escorts and and stylist teams. All tributes that are not our main characters are going to be NPCs and can be controlled by whoever needs them for an encounter.

I'm thinking the game right before Katniss' first? That way we don't have any spoilers or contradict any plot line in the books?

now that i have a moment to reply... Katniss isn't going to be involved. When i mentioned making our own rebellion (in the interest check i think) i meant from the ground up. as if Katniss never volunteered let alone won. I want to create our own spark for the rebellion from our OCs. on our own timeline. Fuck the original plot line. thats whats so great about this universe. you can pick it up at any point and make it your own without changing the bigger picture.

I want to make the story ours.

Im willing to go back as far as Finnick's game but i also dont want us to get bored before the big stuff happens. that being said it doesnt have to happen on the books timeline either. we could start as if the book rebellion failed or never got strong enough to pick up in the first place. Coin even says to Katniss that without her the rebels could be waiting another 75 years for a new chance. we could start after the Quarter Quell

I'm all for an alternate-history type of scenario. Maybe extending as far as entirely new characters for any role (from past victors to mentors to the president) depending on if someone's got a good idea for one. Or a mixture of new and canonical.
Or a failed rebellion that never got far enough to really do anything but the fact that it was attempted was just inspiring enough. Maybe the two finalists tried the nightlock berry trick, but in this version of events they both died, showing up the Capitol but leaving no figureheads for a rebellion.
Choices! But, yeah, so long as we're all on the same page then I think anything could work that gives way to an interesting scenario.

(Though 9, which I drew, has I think almost no canonical characters mentioned at all. Freedom! I'll probably write up a male tribute & mentor to be NPCs, unless we swap around and write the counterparts for each other)

Swapping for mentors is what I intended. I attempted to explain that... somewhere. Sorry if i wasn't clear enough.

I have a tentative plot in mind that requires a Beetee-esque character and a Finnick-career turned against the capital. Having Haymitch and Johanna type characters wouldn’t hurt either. Though i think Snow has to stay the same.

That being said I don’t really want a super young tribute to win so early in the rp so i think im gonna pass my win to the next person in line. I believe thats Blemmigan Blemmigan . Congrats

Dont get me wrong im all for having a 12-13-14 year old victor just not for the first game

i want to say yes but i cant. With the way i want to do mentors if one (or both- but mostly if only one) of the other two stay on then there will be no one to mentor for them and no one left for them to mentor if we start that without them. some one would have to change a character they've already made in order to accommodate them.

you can work on putting together a personality, their game, family backstory if you want but nothing relating to their district yet

Hey im sorry but my life just got really ... bad. Uh i sadly wont be able to give my time and devotion to this like i had wanted. i hope you guys have fun though

ok... so since popular vote seems to be starting the game whenever in an AU setting im gonna roll a 100 faced dice and whatever face it lands on will be our first game.

(hello, I wasn't around yesterday, but here I am now)

Wait what do I win? The (67th) games? Exciting.

Also what is happening with mentors and counterpart district tributes? Not sure if I should roll for them or not. Would they be NPCs (as in, anyone can control them)?
