Would it be possible to introduce a race similar to a fairy, but, well, different? I was thinking of making Moralee something of a shapeshifter, who can choose to take on the form of a person she knows the appearance of. Something like a Darkhold faerie hat was cursed/corrupted by exposure to dreams, and then, only they would possess the ability. On the other hand, she cannot make any dreams and is restricted to using the magic of the person she mirrored. If it's too much I can make it weaker.


Thoughts?

It wouldn't. Shapeshifters should be able to mirror the outside and inside of the body, else it would be a shitty illusion. Considering that I imagined the non-mirrored form of a shapeshifter to be half faerie, half pile of goo and toxic waste, that would probably be thr best option. Besides, I don't want to affect him that much.

I like it, it can be a form of corrupt faerie that hasn't been seen in years. One that people thought was completely gone.  my question is does Bowyn know what she is?

No. He may find out, but she doesn't plan on ever telling him or giving him hints she is.
