The size isn't my problem, I'm just looking at the list of characters, how many people we have on board, and the fact we're supposed to cram all of these characters, in multiple locations across the world, into a single thread without any context as to where exactly we are, (Well, where exactly I am, anyway. For the royals and such it's easy) and where everyone is and who's relevant to where.


I may just be used to a format where locations are in different threads, but this is a bit much for me to take. Yeah, nothing's happened in the RP yet, but I had to skim through the OOC thread because there was just that much to read between now and the last time I logged in. Under these circumstances I can't in good conscience recommend myself for this RP.
 
So instead of suggesting multiple threads you're just gonna call it quits?


I mean to be honest I'm not opposed to it. I don't know how everyone else feels.

If you don't remember, @Hototo already tried making another thread for his own location, and he was immediately shot down. Ace doesn't want multiple threads, he just wants one. Suggesting multiple threads would be a waste of time.

As someone who RP'd before the current Thread-system, I'd say it's not much of a problem... But really, now that I've participated in an RP that makes use of a wide variety of Threads for different locations, I can see where you're coming from.


Regarding why Hototo's thread was done in... I'm not sure whether he asked to make it. I can't remember him doing so, at least.

I was here before the big update too, and I had the same problems with big RPs. I just can't be bothered to read a huge amount of posts that are completely irrelevant to me in any possible way, just so I can catch something that might've happened nearby.

Admittedly, he created the thread without asking, but since this is in hosted project form I assumed, like he did, that we would be RPing in location-based threads too. Ace shot him down and made him delete the contents in his thread.
 
Just try asking at least. The worst he can do is say no and then you can still leave if you would like.

To be fair, I never said I was leaving, just that I was reconsidering my participation. I've presented my problems with how this is set up, and I'm letting Ace respond however he likes before I make my decision.
 
Yes, but that doesn't necessarily mean it would be shot down if a collective group brought up a concern. Especially if it's a good portion of roleplayers. I don't think it's right to assume he wouldn't consider it based off a singular irrelevant case. 


And even if he doesn't take to the idea...there are other ways to cope with it. Such as asking those related to your roleplaying to tag your name in the post. So that this allows you to skip irrelevant ones.


I personally like knowing everything that's going on, but thats just me I suppose.

I support your idea for multiple threads along with anyone else who said. I'm sure Ace will be understanding
 
Multiple threads would indeed help with maintaining the IC clear and ease the understanding of the RP progression, I'm completely supportive to the idea.
