I have, and it's terrible. And apparently the site I'm using doesn't let you link directly to a dice roll, which sort of ruins the whole thing. Maybe we could just use invisible castle?
 
You could just tell the gm what character name you rolled under, that way he can look up all the rolls you have made under that name.
 
How long does it take to travel to Chiarscuro from where Ruby is? and how many days does she have?
 
Yeah, sorry for not replying to that earlier. I'm not quite sure where exactly you are, but given the known travel rates, I'd say that with a few fast horses it might take you about two to three weeks.
 
Yeah I guess I was trying to figure out how much time Ruby has. Must she need to hustle right away to make it by the date on the letter?
 
Heh, Noisy, what I meant to write in the note was that, as Kharda was a mercenary captain and in command in all of those forces, if he just gave up and stopped fighting, and commanded his men to do the same, he could save lives. So, if you want to change anything because of that, please do.

Will do. I guessed that might be it, but I wasn't sure if the odd phrasing was intentional or not (the guy might be crazy or something). As long as it's nothing like that, I'll look over what I said and maybe rewrite it.

Also, how are we doing stunts? Should we wait on dice rolls until after you give us the stunt dice (if any) or just roll and you tell us if we get more?


No real preference either way, but I wanted to ask in case we get into heavy mote/willpower use.
 
I've been debating on how to run stunting for PbP, and so that we can keep everything as streamlined as possible. Waiting for stunts to be confirmed is a good idea, except that because it is PbP almost every action qualifies as a stunt(sorry I haven't been keeping track, those who have done rolls). I'll see what I can figure out.
 
For stunts, you might check out 'The Resurgent', which is the other group I'm in. I've found that system to work out okay.


I haven't seen examples of others, so I can't speak on them really.
 
Sorry I didn't post yesterday or today. They've been somewhat hectic, and right now I am tired, so hopefully I can post to at least some of them tomorrow, or if not then, Saturday.

Though on a related note, I will be out of town with semi-limited internet access from Thursday to Sunday night this coming week. I might be able to post, but I'm not 100% sure.
 
Sick, might be stomach flu, definitely nothing to do with swine. Hopefully I'll be feeling better enough to post tomorrow.

was just reading unferth's combat thread...and had a question.


but after reading the combo, it made sense except for 1 part.


When you activate a combo that contains a reflexive charm like seven shadow evasion,


do you need to use that charm right away or can it be placed on hold?


And do you spend the motes to activate that when you activate the combo


or only if you are attacked by the ape?
 
read it more, made sense now:) he bought 9 dice worth of excellencies...ouch, that's like a finishing move. Reminds me of some real anime-ish move.
 
He really, really, really, really must want to smite it. It and everyone that knew it is probably going to feel it xD
