I will say this, I'm much better at reading and understanding Spanish than I am speaking it (or in this case, typing it). I completely forgot like all grammar rules so I wouldn't make much sense anymore. My high school Spanish days are certainly long over.

Well dad says languages are just like a Muscle if you dont use them they just get weaker and weaker thats why i try and use spanish as much as i can!

Like, if you want some literal proof, look at me! I took Spanish for 5 years in high school and was at the top of my class for all of those years. I knew Spanish pretty well. I'm not saying this to brag but rather to give you some context. Then, I stopped taking it in about 11th grade, and now I'm in college and haven't practiced Spanish in like 2 or 3 years and now look at me. I've lost my touch and I can't really speak Spanish well. So yes, always keep practicing.

Yea, writing is fun! No pressure to make a story, though I would love to see something with them if you do decide to write one. As you can see, writing helps Dawn, your father and I. Writing can be fun, so don't feel like you NEED to write a story with them, but I'd certainly love to see one with them if you do. You made those characters so I understand feeling like "hey! I gotta write something with them! Can't waste these characters!"

Yeah when we go to like a Mexican restaurant or something dads make me do all the talking and say im only allowed to talk to the waiter in spanish just cause they font know how to speak it but they want me to keep practicing so i don’t forget but its kinda funny cause they all think im just some Extranjero (sorry can’t remember how to spell it in English) kid even tho im actually half Mexican.

But also we have Latino neighbors so i always talk in Spanish with them

Lol that's very good that you have so many ways of continuously practicing it. Keep those Spanish skills sharp!

Im still not very good at remembering when to use masculine and when to use feminine sometimes. Sometimes i use the wrong one and people look at me kinda funny for a second but they usually dont make a big deal out of it but its still kinda embarrassing.

Yea don't worry about it, it's alright. Again, you can do whatever you want with them: write a story or not. Maybe you get bored one day and sit down and decide to write something. Whatever you do is fine! Don't feel any pressure tho lol

Yeah its really hard sometimes.
But what i dont like about speaking two languages is like ill be speaking English sometimes and like out of nowhere i just can’t remember a word in English so i just say it in spanish without realizing and people get all confused like what the heck did you just say. That kinda makes me feel really embarrassed!!
And it’s always stupid words like one time i forgot how to say apples freakin APPLEs so i said manzanas and the worst part it was in front of my whole class that was so embarrassing
