And last night after our loss, the Isles have officially been eliminated from playoff contention, so I guess the losses won't get me in as much as a mood lmao. Now we're just playing for pride the 7 or 8 games we have left. Although the Islanders vs Rangers game will be intense so that I'm certainly gonna focus on.

Yea it sucks, but I knew it was coming at some point after the awful season we've had. :/
The NY Rangers are our biggest rival, so yes haha. We've been destroying them every single time we face them, so it's really great. Plus, I have a Rangers fan friend so it's always nice to have bragging rights when the Isles beat them.

But I think next year is our year. This year we were PLAGUED with injuries and our best players out with COVID so we had to call up the younger guys from the lower leagues in the beginning half of the season. So we essentially had a minor league team out there playing against a bunch of NHL major league teams. Plus, to start off the season, we had 13 straight road games while we were waiting for our new arena to be built and finished. It was a sucky season where so much went wrong, but this is the same group that almost won the cup twice in a row, I have a feeling we will be back next year.

Yeah a huge decision. Its kinda been in the back of our heads for a while cause my father in law is getting older and isn’t moving as quick anymore especially after hurting his back. But he kept saying he doesn’t want to sell and he will do it till the day he dies.
But last night as we were moving all the stuff that was delivered it kinda came up as a quick mention and we just dismissed it then today he let us know he was serious.
Apparently he realized he cant keep up anymore and that if we are going to be helping as much as we planned this year we might as well start buying it.
But yeah obviously we don’t just have that kind of money laying around so if we do we would basically be partners for a few years until its paid off plus we would probably be giving them our house so we could live on the farm

But that farm has been in my husbands family for like 6 generations and his dad said if we don’t want it he is gonna have to find someone else to buy it and I don’t want to see it leave the family especially cause i know how much it means to my husband soo yeah its tough
