Alrighty! So from I what can gain from this is that a ki balls advantage is that it could deliver the ki payload all at once?
But I think I got a good idea if how her attack works.
As for Fae's attack. The current all out attack from the ki pool. Firstly, I should mention, that Fae is not technically currently in her base form. With the Yoseishin she has been multiplied by 2. Bringing her to the temporary 5ish million. Which with a x10 attack would bring it to roughly 50 mil.
Now the x10 was just a number I pulled out my butt as an example. Fae, already familiar with ki blasts might be able to reach that with some effort. Yet the point of the technique in question is not so easily defined by a set multiplier. To put it simply, she is adding the ki pool to her attack. By putting great amounts of Ki into the pool, then charging an attack, then adding the pool to the attack, she could potentially force her way past what she would safety be able to handle. Hence it being an all out attack. With risks, not just leaving her drain, but also including the damage it could do to her by doing so. Delegating it to be more of a last resort.
Yet given its complexity, I am having second thoughts about executing it now. Not to mention, as I had been pondering over it, this would not be an ideal way to test it. Firstly, it would leave her drained, and unable to do anything about the second ball unless she could it and Era with it. Not something that would be wise to risk. Secondly, as she is already planted, she would have to recharge the pool if she were to move in between Era and the ki ball. Not something she would have the time to do.
But that's fine! It can always be something to toy with later. As with these new developments, there are other things she can do without letting the currently gathered ki go to waste. The technique (I think) I mentioned that she was learning from Faero, and had been doing a bit of practicing with in the meantime.
Since I might not be able to post until tomorrow evening, it seems, I will give a heads up of what I have in mind so you know I'm not just slacking off. The technique in question shoots a thin concentrated beam designed to penetrate rather than deal great destructive force. Of the things it can penetrate, one of its important features is that it can pierce through ki if it's strong enough, meaning it can be used defensively.
Fae will try to dodge, until realizing to her surprise that it is following her with brutal effeciency, Fae will try to get between Era and the ball, and fire a beam simultaneously at each of them. One to the ball to try and destroy/knock it away to buy time, the other at Era to try and break it at the source she assumes it to be.
And yes, it would definitely be a needed and appreciated confidence boost for Fae. Would definitely let her get the feeling she is catching up. Also, Fae would most certainly be impressed with Era in how she is learning new things, going above and beyond, and taking on more warrior like traits. There is no doubt Fae would find something to respect in all of that. Especially as Era holds true to what she said about fighting all out, even after knowing the tides were turning. After this, Fae will definitely try to help push Era in that direction and try to help her in that regard, since aggression is her specialty.
Allet together, I think the battle is something that will bring the two of them even closer.

I see.
The 10x multiplier example is definitely too extreme if it's placed on top of the prior doubling from the other technique. Going from roughly 2-2.5 mil to 50 mil is equal to almost half a Super Saiyan multiplier (20x-25x). That kind of increase wouldn't just leave her drained. It would kill her unless she was able to adopt a new form that could actually handle that kind of increase in power.
The body of a Saiyan in its base form can only handle a total increase of roughly 10x their base power level before complications begin to arise and irreversible damage to the body begins to take place, even for the rejuvenation chamber. If Fae's power goes beyond around 20-25 mil, her body will instantly respond to the increase by experiencing damage to her Ki pathways and her physical body due to the strain placed on it. Bones cracking and/or breaking, muscles and tendons tearing, and maybe even nerve damage could result.
The reason the SS is possible is because it is actually a change in form even though the change on the outside is apparently quite minor.
When they transform their bodies are changing inside and out specifically to handle the power increase which is why the process of transforming into a SS is at first ungodly painful. Their Ki pathways change during the transformation by becoming larger and they extend slightly further than normal throughout the exterior limbs as well to make more space to accommodate the increase in power. Their muscle fibers become denser and the muscles themselves bulk up to help protect their bodies from the strain that the increase in power is bringing. The increase in muscle mass helps protect the nerves and soft tissue from further damage, and a slight increase in bone density results as well to help hold it all together.
So yeah, Fae being able to increase her power by 20-25x to take on the attack Era has launched isn't going to happen. With a power increase of 10x her base level to a total of around 20-25 mil, she has a chance to again slow down Era's attack, but she'll have to get creative to destroy it. That piercing Ki attack would definitely do the job the first time, but Era would be on the lookout for that with the second ball presuming she manages to avoid Fae's attack.
I actually kind of like the idea of Era failing to evade it and holding on to the other Ki ball to use anyway and continuing the battle despite having a hole blasted through her body.
Pryo would probably not give Fae a cut but he would complement on your victory... And if you want him to wolf whistle at Fae that can also happen.

ChoShadow Would you like me to write the final taking down if Era in my post? Or would you like to post her trying to counter it? As basically what I will a be writing is Fae respecting Era's wishes and laying a rather painful combo on her.
As always, if anything I did was too presumptuous, just let me know and I can change it. Tried not to go TOO brutal as Fae wouldn't want to break Era.
It was all good to me!
At the end of my post Era hasn't hit the ground yet, so if Fae has any strength left to catch her that'd be a nice mercy to Era.
Hmmm. That is a tough question. Two ideas I have had in mind. One being, that thing about meeting the Super Saiyan spirit in the vault at Zaero sounded like a cool idea. If it is still viable. The second idea being, if ever a time skip is needed in the future, towards when we are ready for SS2 and 3, Fae might seek to return to her unorthodox master at planet 216X where she trains to ascend to the next level.
Aside from that, lets see what comes to mind.
Well, of all our fighters, Fae is still the most vulnerable, so "cheesing" her to near death would be pretty easy. And the resulting zenkai boost would be a fair boon in catching her up to the power average of our clique.
Yet, another idea comes to mind, and perhaps a way to help Era turn super saiyan. If they get tolder Mehtan, and things aren't gung-ho from the start... maybe knowing that the King wants them alive for breeding stock, Fae offers herself to them, trying to spare Era and Val that fate. Giving that Val and Era are natural, Fae would see it as something more valuable to keep safe, and helping by buying them time to fight back and grow a resistance. And knowing what Fae may go through at the hand of the King after every passing day, sends Era towards achieving super saiyan in her anger. Dark, perhaps. But does circumvent the traditional trigger of death of a loved one.
Also, developing relationships are always fun to play with.
Your thoughts?

That why I didn't say friend. Maybe if their were forced to work together for some reason that would at least make them start shorting out their problems... or possible kill each other. It really could go either way at this point.
