Ah, btw, another session of waiting means another plot twist/spoiler. Get ready for random spoiler of the day!

It's supposed to be a little twist that'll be included at the very end.
This story actually HAVE a connection with the canon series of DR, although I lied to you before just so you don't get too confused BEFORE you even join the rp lol.

Meaning, it's set in the same universe.
Another hint: This story was planned to set on a certain position on the timeline of the canon DR universe.

Now take some time to digest this info. Lol.
*Insert intense music*
 
Also, before you over complicated this. You can forget about the existence of V3 when considering this.

However, it do forces you to kinda question everything, including the nature of the world you are living in.
Extra hint: This may be a deadly giveaway, but try to think about what reoccurring event was heavily referenced when sneak peaks of the "Chess Master's" backstory was told. It may help you to have a rough idea about the time period that this story sets in, or even how the story is related to the canon DR.
 
I think I'm gonna get started on making chibis of everyone's characters wearing their gala ball costumes. More importantly, I'm gonna get started on a post. Don't wait up for me guys

I couldn't really make out completely what her attire was so I thought these would be alright. Although the shoes are a bit weird now that I look at them.

Couldn't for the life of me find a sheep costume so I thought it'd be funny to see him wearing little fluffy slippers and a woolly hood with normal clothes. Also, the little lambchop in his hand is adorable.

Also, have some music that I think describes Ryōka pretty well. Ya know, since we're posting music and stuff~
 
Oh. I almost forgot. I might not be here for this week because I promise my parents and grandmother that I will study for my finals that are coming up. I will be back next week.

I am glad that everyone is not waiting for me tho, since I'll be available around next week, n I'll be quite busy this week. So it's okay, do focus on your study or any task for now if you have to!

I hope it isn't too late for me to join. Kei Takahashi's bio has been dropped into the Characters subforum. I would, however, appreciate it, if I'm allowed to join that is, if someone could catch me up on what has happened and help me figure out how to introduce my character into the RP..?
 
Firstly, a great big thank you for showing interest in my rp! You have no idea how fluttered I am when that happens! :3

The first case had already ended, the victim was the altruistic Eiko Yukimura, The SHSL Sculptor, while the "cold-blooded"(sry for the pun, don't kill me pls) killer is Ayaka Maeda, the poor girl who is obsessed with using prayers and myths to numb her sorrow, I can tell that she is going to get along with your character! But well, she had been executed with her paper cranes. Quite literally "with" her paper cranes.
If you are interested in the detail of the case you can always go to the "Truth Bullet" section to view the case summary.
Or if you are interested in the story that helps you to fully understand the(in this case) victim's motive, you can check out the brief back story included in the IC, it's quite easy to locate actually.

After the first case a new area of the theme park is now opened to the students, it's apparently a lush forest with lakes, rivers, tree houses, and maybe some bombs.
While the students are having fun around the lake.
Lord Monokuma interfered and then announced a 'Treasure Hunt'. Lord Monokuma also mentioned that their lost memory was one of the treasures that could be found in this Treasure Hunt.
The students are given a fixed amount of time to locate and difuse all the bombs within the area, or they could just kill one of their fellow students.

Mari Yamashita, the SHSL Cleaner apparently lost it and started acting really strang, she mocked and threatened the students that she's going to kill, and then she disappeared into the forest.

The students then separated into groups
to find the bombs as well as Mari and a few other students that chased after her.
While they are in the middle of the treasure hunt, a dead announcement echoed through the forest, and the Treasure Hunt official ended.
Two bodies were discovered.

The students are now investigating to prepare the "bullets" for their next battle in the second class trail.

And they are waiting for me to finish mah exam before continuing... :'/


I really appreciate the effort you had put into fleshing out your character! And I can definitely tell that I'll have a good time with this fresh blood , I really do!

I really want to give new people the opportunity to join the rp, since that'll definitely make things more interesting for my rpers that had stay with the rp since day one.
But, that's a very difficult thing to do plot-wise. And there are actually several factors that contributed to this.

So basically, due to the nature and plotline of this rp, it's hard to do introduce a new character. It is possible, but I worry that it'll be a little too awkward and inconsistent. Still, I *can* try to make it happen.
Well, although I do have an idea in my mind do you have an idea about how you're going to introduce her into the rp?

And just so you know everything in this rp is already pre-planned , there are going to be a total of four murders in this rp, I officially informed my rpers in the OOC, you can find many future events there.

Like I mentioned in our conversation, I was hoping there'd be some plotpoints that you could utilize with her introduction. I'm not totally sure, to be fair, since my knowledge of what has happened so far is delegated to what you just told me now. So I'll be willing to play along with whatever ideas you have. Perhaps the concept of "transfer students" could have something to do with it, if I may spitball here.

What's unique in this killing game is that actually everyone involved in this killing game is here for a reason. So that's why besides watching teenagers slaughter each other for fun and "da despair " the "Chess Master" (master mind) also has a specific motive in their mind to host this killing game in the first place.
That's one of the reasons I find it hard to introduce new characters that Lord Monokuma had "left out".
 
Ah, btw, I wanna make it clear here that there's no Hope's Peak academy in this RP. You can consider this rp a separate "universe" which Hope's Peak never existed. But contradictorily, as I mentioned a few posts earlier, there's still a connection between this story and the main canon plot.
So every characters basically live their seperate, normal life as a SHSL, which is just a title given by society before they suddenly ends up here.

The "academy" they are currently trapped in is called Dreamer's Path Academy.
Which non of the SHSL here ever heard of, not to mention enrolled in.
Yet Lord Monokuma insists that they are indeed the students of Dreamer's Path.

Perhaps there could be reasons explaining people waking up in (what the map noted as) closed areas? Or just generally waking up in secluded locations on the school's campus at different times than other people?

That could work. But the fact that her introduction will result in a little inconsistency is inevitable. So don't worry about it for now. Perhaps I'll just use some comedy to cover up that! XP

Btw, is the English version of V3 already out? I have no idea, lol.
I just realized how much the premise and even some "plot device" in V3 looks similar to this rp, I guess this is partially inspired by V3 without me realizing it.
But I guess the story is still very different in a way.
