I really like the whole look for her in this chibi, especially the translucent scarf. It's just so mysterious, a little 'chuuni', and awesome!

You are encouraged to investigate other areas too like 'west' and 'center' part of the forest, and remember to utilize some details you noticed during the treasure hunt, which may be very useful info during the trial.
Perhaps you can ask the npcs some questions too when you find them.
But that not that important, since interrogation can also be done during the trial, npcs will also try to tell you what info they have during the trial too.

Haha, you should know me better to know that Mari is definitely not going to kill if she says she is going to right in front of every one. In fact, if you really think about it, no murderer will be bold enough to do that if they really plan to murder and got away with it in the first place. Take that as an important hint from me to find an explanation for her action.
