Ah, my apologize for my apparent inactivity. Life has been... I won't say extremely busy since I've experienced the more hectic moment, but it's certainly being a attention hogging right now xD . A little bit information about me, right now I am a college student in her final year ~_~ which probably explain my not-so-busy-but-still-busy state of live. My favorite genre of RP is the one with much action, drama, and where everyone seems to have so many schemes up their sleeves. I don't usually like slice-of-life, but when the environment is right, I like it because I can focus on small but relatable and realistic internal drama/conflict, and it is fun to write xD .


About my character Elva, my goal for her is still a little bit abstract. When I created her, what I have in mind is someone who is facepalm-inducing most of the time, but also can gives a surprising insight on a current condition. Especially since she is trapped in the world of dream which is pretty much her natural habitat xD . Also, since she is still so young and also has her head in the cloud most of the time, I want her to learn many things, and I want her to become wiser in the end-without losing her dreamy quality. These two things are kinda hard to combine (in my opinion at least) so... let's just see how the events mold her ( :P ) Rudy's death is a good start. Also, I put some easter eggs in the story about her past, which might or might not affect the plot, but I guess it would entertain whoever find it :P


That's all about me for now! Sorry for the inactivity guys ( :( ) I'm trying to write a reply since yesterday, but I keep getting distracted =_=

Action drama and schemes! Boy do I love me some schemes! I always got to have me one up my sleeve :D

I don't know much about it, that is just the info I had been able to look up.


Lol I enjoy the song and the video. Though to be honest, I enjoyed my first interpretation of the AMV as exploring somebody's delusion rather than time travel :P Or something. No clue. Never watched it, but I think I will have to now. Maybe it does explore delusions. Who knows :D

Aha, I see! That's what you meant by goals. Hmm, for Joey... Her being a little kid, I like keeping her in the lighter side of feelings and actions for the most part. Also it's just fun to write her that way, but I don't think that helps with answering what I might want to see! Hmm.


Originally I focused on her fears and anger playing a role in her illogical actions. For instance, when she yelled at Aria for apologizing to Jay. Also originally I was building up to her punching someone (be afraid, ten-year-old punch!), but I've steered away from that.


I'm just having fun writing her being "she's totally the good guy!" and "he's totally the bad guy!" Mainly cuz I think it's cute and totally little-kid like. But also because it contrasts my real life need to be more even-minded and try and see all viewpoints.


On that note, I also dislike Nago and Etrem. But you have to understand, I enjoy disliking the badguys. That means they're doing a good job at being the badguy, and unlike real life, I can dislike them and not worry about their feelings getting hurt (...I think...). For instance, how I watch South Park to see Cartman get hurt, cuz I just love to hate him. ...It sounds mean now that I've said it aloud >w>" Ahem!


So it seems I have to come up with some OOC goals for her~ OwO It's really been a while since I've discussed fun char things with fellow RPers. QwQ I forgot how fun this is.

Lol you do not HAVE to have any OOC goals. I was just wondering if you all had any xD Because I too think it is very fun to talk about stuff like this and I also believe that it helps a roleplay flesh itself out and makes it more alive, as well as breeding ineterst. Discussing ideas and brainstorming almost always has a positive effect on RP's :D So I like to try and talk about all aspects of characters. OOC and IC.


Nothing wrong with the little kid mentality, lol she is in the appropriate age range for that. I am sure you will have a lot of fun with her in regards to character progression.


Semantically, if you enjoy the badguy for being bad, would not like them? Disliking a villain means different things depending on the context. :P And of course, we all know that one of the best badguy factors is "a villain you love to hate".

Ah, I know OOC goals aren't mandatory. I was just slightly surprised, for usually I have a medium to large amount of OOC goals for my chars, Joey the exception. So I wanted to wrack my brain and figure out a few at least. Because, just you said, discussing and brainstorming is half the fun. Which is why it's so awesome you brought up this discussion owo

I have to read through everything again, there are like, seventeen million pages of OOC but one thing that stuck out to me was more Nago. 8D While me and King have things in store, yes, I would loooveeeee to write a thing for him, my cute little puppy <3333333 It may take a while, I gotta get home first. x3
