[QUOTE="Veirrianna Valentine]We have you, DWiz, Dago and BacklegSanji here, of course it's a matter of when not if xD

What? My name in and of itself doesn't mean anything...?

:( That saddens me...

Yay! All the cookies!!

Also I feel like it's bad I already have a complete character for this even though I don't know the requirements for a CS....... *shot for being impatient at times*

No, no, you misunderstand. You alone makes it a 99.99999999-% chance to begin with, as do the other three names. So what we have now is a well over 100% chance of this happening is all I was getting at xD

Ok. Have a cookie.

Well, I was thinking about reusing @Veirrianna Valentine The slave girl sounds like the so-many-est troubled girl who got superpowers. The blind guy would be much cooler, that is if you know how to write for a blind person (which you seem to know). However, I think blind people are not the most appreciated people, so I have doubts about his bright past and carefree nature (friendliness could work out really well, regardless of his past).

I'm going to be using Kibto from that RP since I never got a chance to use him then, though I changed a few things about him~

Bright pasts and carefree nature are what one makes of it. A prime example is one of my cousins in the States. Very nasty back ground, and the entirety of our family here in Scotland have essentially removed his parents from our families because that's how bad of people they are. Despite his rough childhood and the like, he's easily one of the happiest, chillest people I have ever met. Asked him about it once and he told me that it isn't about fearing what the world is going to do to you next, but understanding that the worst case scenario is death, and if death hasn't come then there's always room for life to get better.

I feel like it's great life advice and really useful advice when used in tandem with a person with disabilities.

As for the slave-girl take, you fear cliché? Understandable, but you clearly haven't seen what I do to clichés xD

I have a few ideas myself. Nothing written out or otherwise fully planned yet though. Debating making either a completely batshit insane character or the most normal person ever currently.. *shrug*

*secretly doesn't want you to have the slave girl because my guy is going to be one......* >.> Secret is safe with me and my subtly..

@Felix

My take on clichés operates a lot like this.

Very subtle, such secret, much safe. ^-^

If we're talking about characters I have a fairly fleshed out idea.

A member of the Mink tribe who left Zou, specifically A Bunny Person. They'd be something akin to a Sniper - Marksmen who can give a Dwarf a run for their money in a race. Don't really plan on using a devil fruit, probably gonna add in the skill of Weapon making or the like so they can just be prepared for every scenario possible. She'd be a pretty chill, relaxed yet mildly cocky individual who is slightly more than just proud of her sniper capabilities with both her trusty Musket and multitude of Pistols. She'll probably have a Flash dial on her for quick getaways If a dude gets too close so she can shoot them off whilst running around like Mr Supersonic Augur. The only special thing about her combat technique would the capabilities to use Electro and having extensive knowledge on the Rokushiki techniques, Soru & Geppo, with a tiny bit of knowledge on Shigan & Kami-e.

Tl;dr - Mink tribe bunny girl who can shoot you whilst running at the same speed as a Ferrari with some Electricity stuff thrown in there and fair knowledge on Rokushiki.

Fair Warning to Everyone: Any abilities at all are all going to be heavily regulated. I know my captain personally has absolutely no special abilities at all and we do want everyone to be on relatively even ground.

How will devil fruits be chosen? Or will that be figured out later?

Good to know =P

Still a work in progress...
Few ideas, First-come-first-serve, Rolling for them, especially if more than one person wants a specific fruit, or anyone that makes a CS for a devil fruit user also makes a CS for a normal character, and once all the Devil Fruit user CS's are up it's voted on by whoever the CS judges are, or picked by you.

Current discussions are actually that devil fruits will be completely randomized and only a certain number of people will be able to have them. We still have a few kinks and quirks to work out...

I may be the only one but I never liked the randomize idea.

It is a completely fair way to do it though... and it has an added bonus of possibly discouraging too many people from trying for one because they're not guaranteed something entirely useful. Those are my thoughts on it, though...

Edit: and we are still discussing...

I think that'd be a great idea for people wishing to start out with Devil Fruit's, especially those types who are gonna be like rolling for a Logia so they can just practically dodge every attack; given that I doubt anyone knows Haki or the like at the start of the Rp....Randomization definitely stops people from immediately starting out as Little Whitebeards or Kizaru's.

Maybe during the much later stages when we get a better gauge on people's responsibility, maturity, and skill at roleplaying some people could ask on whether their characters could obtain a Devil fruit for people who REALLY want one, with the people who accept characters being capable of judging them from how active they are and all that?

Just throwing around an idea.

Personally I see the point in randomising fruits, that way there's no going through and picking which fruits aren't allowed due to their OP-ness and it also proves that there isn't any cherry-picking going on, ensuring everyone has a chance, but at the same time, randomising who gets which fruit and the like can also cause problems. Make a speed built character, but they turn into a turtle due to a Zoan fruit? Or get a fruit you don't know how to work with.

I get your point.

But to me I think you should just set a limit to how many devil fruits may be used. And instead of first come first severe. Its quality over speed. Like people need to show they know the full capabilities and limits of their fruit, and understand the responsibility of having it. Like they can't just claim they want said fruit, they need to show the GMs they have the knowledge and control to use a fruit without trying to be a god. (That's just my opinion though)

I also think the randomization process would go perfectly lore wise...I mean eating a Devil fruit in the One piece universe is basically a gamble. Barely anyone who's eaten one knew what they would end up having as an ability; with a few exceptions here and there such as Blackbeard.
