Cassie has blonde tresses that fall to her shoulders, maybe slightly beyond. This is her natural color, and she has been known to dye the ends when feeling particularly "colorful," though for the most part she keeps it strictly blonde. She doesn't usually tie her hair up, preferring to keep it loose around her shoulders, even when working. There are often some flecks of paint somewhere in her hair from work.
eyes
Her eyes are a bright blue that are often squinted from smiling at her students. She has plenty of smile lines around her eyes from general enjoyment with life and her job. Only the barest eye makeup adorns her eyes, such as light liner and mascara.
Build
Cassie cuts a rather slender figure, with even proportions and the barest hint of curves. Though taller than the average height, she often appears shorter from leaning forward excitedly or bouncing around. She has very little muscle mass, though this is somewhat of an illusion considering she ferries around art supplies to bring to her school.
body modifications
With a singular piercing in her ears, Cassie has no other modifications. She has considered tattoos before but has not found anything worth immortalizing. However, she has a vaguely sun-shaped birthmark on her right hip.

I have magic hair that glows when I sing.
Cassia radiates the sunshine and creativity probably expected of an elementary school art teacher. She’s never far from a smile on her face, most often directed at her students, the greatest joy in her life. Even though she teaches art, she creates plenty of her own, often painting between classes. The world is beautiful to her, and so she paints as much of it as she sees. In the stresses of teaching and dealing with parents, the painting relaxes her and brings her the peace needed for her to make her students happy.
With a fairly active social life, Cassie tries her best to be a good friend, including gift-giving and remembering important dates and meetups. It’s quite possible that she has no sarcasm in her bones, though she can parrot it if it’s directed at her. She’d rather go through her life with kindness than any sort of veiled meanness, which makes her rather naïve as she sometimes fails to deal with any negativity directed at her. Even when things look grim, she tries to stay on the bright side—if she doesn’t, how will she ever teach her students to do the same?

Short Bio
In a land of fairy tales, Cassia was once Rapunzel, a princess stolen away from her parents as a baby and raised by an imposter. Even in Storybrooke, Cassia was treated much like a princess, although she was raised by both of her parents. Her mother, however, had high expectations of her, wanting her to be a proper lady in the hopes that she would marry rich and never have to lift a finger. Cassie, however, preferred the arts, and her father encouraged her, buying her all the art supplies she desired to create her masterpieces.
Tension thrived between mother and daughter the more Cassie pursued her art. To her mother, nothing was worse than being a poor struggling artist. Unfortunately, her daughter wanted that life, though Cassie’s father suggested sharing her art with others. When the time came for her to go to college, Cassie decided to pursue art as well as teaching. As a result, she is now Storybrooke’s resident art teacher, most often teaching at the elementary school level but occasionally helping out with middle and high school classes.
Little does she know that her past life as a princess with magical hair is close to haunting her, as well as the new life of the man with whom she fell in love.

Roman Mouchard
Cassie doesn't know much about Mr. Mouchard, only that he is not to be trusted and should be feared. She's managed to stay out of his sights for a long time, until the day she was robbed. Really, how hard was it to stay undetected from a man who wields a gun as easily as a cigarette?

hair
Roman has dark brownish-black hair cropped close to his head, for the most part. Seeing as his hair is rather curly, it falls around his forehead and temples like a mop, with some aspects of it hanging loosely. This quality makes it appear wavy rather than curly, especially seeing as he tends to keep it well-trimmed so it doesn't get longer.
eyes
He has deep brown, hooded eyes that are often downcast upon whatever document he's reading or trying to light one of his many cigarettes. When not looking downwards, his gaze is often disinterested, even daring to roll his eyes if the conversation bores him. All of this supported by the abyssal quality in the color.
Build
While not particularly muscled, though not particularly weak, Roman has a physique between athletic and lanky. He tends to not dirty his own hands, and focuses on his intellect instead. Still, he has been known to slither his way out of situations with a swiftness his build would not betray.
body modifications
Roman has but one tattoo: a rat that stands as the symbol of his organization. The ink of the tattoo is his favorite color: red. He has no piercings.

Trouble with the chemistry set, old boy?
Roman would be the first to call himself a rat. Though he didn’t quite grow up on the streets, he did rule them with an iron fist, using his wits and intellect moreso than any physical strength. Cold and calculating, as he should be as the leader of a mob-like organization, he has a rather uncaring attitude about anything except failure. He’s not fond of his subordinates failing in their tasks, and he often goes to extreme means to punish them and make sure they will never fail him again. Otherwise, as long as the job is done, he doesn’t really care about the methods they use to finish the tasks he sets before them.
As for people in general, Roman could care less. He’s never been much for social interaction, and growing up most people avoided him. That’s fine by him, since he finds most people unworthy of interacting with. When they do talk to him, he tends to be a bit of a troll (in the Internet sense of the word). Riling people up and getting them to expose their true natures and secrets? That’s his bread and butter. It’s perhaps the only thing that makes him truly laugh or smile.

guns, cigarettes, illegal activities, trolling people, iced tea, rats, rodents in general, suits, being called "professor"
dislikes
detectives, police, goody-two-shoes, sunshine, street lights, unflavored water (yes. just water), wet gunpowder, machine guns (too noisy)
quirks
He has a tendency to crunch loudly on ice cubes to intimidate or annoy anyone he's talking to.

short bio
In another world, another time, Roman was a literal rat, a self-proclaimed professor determined to rule over London (maybe the world) at any cost. Even in his new life, Ro was considered a rat. He wasn’t particularly dirty, but he was sneaky, cunning, conniving. No one could ever prove he was the one who stole their candy, but his petty thefts did not make him popular. That was fine, because he was focused on training himself to someday take over the organization his father ran. There wasn’t exactly a loving relationship between father and son, but there was respect. And really, that was all that could be expected of such unfeeling men.
Roman was a prodigy at the mafia business, even learning how to deconstruct and reconstruct a gun in little to no time at all. He was taking on entire operations by himself by the time he was a teenager. With no need for college—he could afford it, but it would be too boring for the likes of him—he took over his father’s mantle right out of high school, proving himself almost daily and rarely, if ever, getting caught by police. Even if they did catch him, witnesses soon proved to be untrustworthy as they were easily paid off. He always got what he wanted, no matter who he had to hurt.
Even if it involved getting the attention of a certain detective with something eerily familiar about him in the process.

“Alright, listen, I didn’t want to have to do this, but you leave me no choice. Here comes the smolder.”
Adventurous and reckless do not even begin to cover Gene's personality. He is considered a wild card of sorts, at times he'll help someone only to rob them blind in the next few minutes. He is charming, outgoing, friendly and considers himself to be a ladies' man. He isn't afraid of standing up for others as well, and he can be quite opinionated. Despite this, he often thinks about why his parents abandoned him in a dumpster and secretly his past does effect the negative self-esteem issues he has. But he covers this all up easily with his egocentric personality and charming everyone he meets with a smile and a bravado that can't be beat.
likes
Gene has a motorcycle that he enjoys going for long rides on, he also loves horses and would love to own stables and a ranch someday.
dislikes
Gene has a big problem with wealthy people, and those are his number one targets above anyone else. He also hates polka and country music.
quirks
Gene sometimes thinks to himself out loud and will even argue with himself. He doesn't even realize he's doing it until someone pokes him about it.

birth
As far as Gene was concerned, he was born to parents who didn't ask for him to begin with, let alone want him. They abandoned him in a dumpster where he was found by a gang that decided to take him in a and raise him as a professional thief and conman. Though he decided to embellish his story for the sake of garnering the pity of his scam victims as well as those he stole from - a poor orphan boy that grew up all alone was his angle, with no family or friends to look out for him. All alone in the world! Until one day, he was at last taken in by a kindly old man who looked like a wizard in his opinion, but he had been so kind and so wise that he decided to teach Gene all that he knew about the world and its beauty!
When the poor old man died, poor Gene was left alone again, but this time he was determined to make a good life for himself. And so he became an electrician to help "illuminate the lives of everyone" in town, making things a bit brighter for folks everywhere!
That of course was his scheme, checking on electricity in homes and scoping the place out so he could make a successful robbery a few nights later. Like a shadow, he was in and out of every home, taking valuables and money right from the very customers who paid him to fix the electrical wiring in their home. He reports to a criminal mastermind who owns the gang he had gotten adopted into, a man by the name of Roman Mouchard.
The man was like a father figure of sorts, and he did his best to make the guy happy - because making Roman upset would lead to a violent end, as he witnessed many a time. Still, he has Roman's favor and is often referred to as his golden boy, because of the great results he delivers. He just hopes he can keep at it and save his own skin.
part. 2
In his former life before being ripped from it into the real world, Gene was once known as the infamous Flynn Rider, whose real name was Eugene Fitzherbert. Eugene Fitzherbert was born to King Edmund and his wife as Horace. During Eugene's infancy, the kingdom was corrupted by a powerful opal that threatened to destroy the land. King Edmund ordered for a kingdom-wide evacuation to protect his subjects from the opal's destructive power—including Eugene, who was escorted out of the kingdom by a servant woman and later placed in an orphanage. Eugene never knew the truth of his lineage. He grew up believing that his parents were fearless adventurers traveling the world to make names for themselves. Eugene remained hopeful that once they did, they would return to the orphanage and take him back. In the meantime, Eugene spent all his days with his fellow orphans.
Every night, Eugene would read "The Tales of Flynnigan Rider", stories of a rich and dashing swashbuckler who had an abundance of thrilling adventures wherever he went. The more Eugene read it, the more he dreamed of a more audacious lifestyle and decided to break out of his orphan upbringing. Eugene eventually ventured out with his best friend Arnwaldo—now known as Lance Strongbow—and grew up into a dashing swashbuckler and gifted horseman under an alias taken from his childhood hero: Flynn Rider. With Lance by his side, Flynn became one of the most infamous thieves in all of Corona, making enemies at nearly every port. He would also plunder regions well beyond Corona, such as Italy, where he learned to speak Italian. Being drawn in more and more by his new ambition and becoming more and more aloof from the people around him, Flynn sought a solitary life of money and freedom, far away.
Apart from Lance (with whom he eventually lost contact), Flynn formed partnerships with other criminals, one of which being a ruthless kingpin known as "the Baron." During their alliance, Flynn developed a relationship with the Baron's daughter, Stalyan. The two were eventually engaged, but Flynn created a bitter enemy in his employer when he left Stalyan at the altar.
Everything Flynn ever wanted, however, quickly lost its appeal in the days he met Rapunzel. When Flynn met the lonesome girl in a remote tower, he was quite irritated to be coerced into taking her to see the Festival of Lights at the kingdom so that he could get back a valuable stolen tiara she had hidden from him. As he spent time with her, he gained a respect for the headstrong young lady that became strong affection and caring. As Flynn cast aside his cares for treasure and solitude he realized his old dream had been replaced by a new one. Flynn fell completely in love with the lost princess and helped her reunite with her parents and reclaim her throne.
Eugene went back to his birth name, stopped thieving, and married Rapunzel a few years later.

"There's always a chance, as long as one can think."
Just as he was in his previous life, Sheraton is a deductive thinker - a genius in his own right, he has solved many crimes over the years and is determined to protect the public from nefarious criminals, big or small time. He can be cranky and shrewd from time to time, especially when someone keeps getting in the way of him trying to figure things out. Often times he can mope around when things don't go his way, hence he'll play his violin long into the night and sleep well into the next day out of sheer depression. He is very reflective and tends to dwell on his past, namely his memories of his ex lover Roman. When a case begins, Sheraton is quick to act, and he is persistent to solve it at all cost.
likes
He enjoys playing the violin, taking his bloodhound Toby out for walks in the park, reading mystery novels as well as watching true crime shows, both of which inspire him to keep going.
dislikes
Sheraton has a strong dislike of children and thinks they are annoying as all Hell. He also hates cats, graveyards, and places with large bodies of water.
quirks
He has a secret stash of romance novels and he also has cheeses of almost every kind in his fridge.

birth
Sheraton as far as he knew was born in London, England, but moved to a small town in the United States after graduating from Cambridge University with a degree in criminal justice. Having taken forensics and chemistry, Sheraton is a very intelligent and intuitive man who decided to become a private detective rather than join the police force. He wanted things done his own way as he believed his methods were quicker and more efficient, not to mention highly accurate.
During his time in college, he met a man by the name of Roman Mouchard, who instantly managed to capture Sheraton's heart and mind. The two were both intellects, both having deep conversations about psychology of the mind and heart, of the world, everything. Captivated, Sheraton fell in love with Roman who returned his affections, and the two began dating from the time they were in college until just after graduation when things fell apart between them.
Sheraton had found out about Roman being a professional criminal, and begged him to give up that life while he still had the chance. Roman refused, and the two got into a heated quarrel that ended with their separation, and two broken hearts. This was the reason why Sheraton moved out to the United States, where he became a small town private detective, solving cases and playing his violin long into the night reminiscing of better days when he and Roman were together in love. He has never gotten over that, and likely never will. Still, his work keeps him distracted and he is happy to help the citizens if they are in need of his assistance.
part. 2
In his former life before this one in the real world, Sheraton was actually known as The Great Mouse Detective - Basil of Baker Street. His story truly began when one night, his future companion Dr. Dawson met a lost and frightened Olivia Flaversham, desperately searching for Basil to help her locate her kidnapped father, he helps her find Baker Street. Before long, they are involved with Basil in a maze of mystery and intrigue, trying to see if he can pinpoint the location of his arch-nemesis, the nefarious Professor Ratigan.
Basil fought Ratigan before many times (even with their past History of being lovers on the table), but had never been able to catch him and knew he was at large, ready to commit another diabolical crime. But it would be Olivia's case that finally led Basil back to Ratigan again, and he decided to give the child the time of day if only to finally put an end to his ex-lover's schemes. Along the way he bonded with Dawson as a best friend and even started to have a soft spot for Olivia, even risking his life to save her from getting kidnapped by Ratigan's henchman Fidget in the Toy Store. While unsuccessful, Basil never gave up. Having procured a list Ratigan made for Fidget of items to steal from the toy store, Basil and Dawson head back to Baker Street and track down the professor to the docks, at a shady pub.
Both having donned disguises, Basil and Dawson infiltrated the pub and managed to follow Fidget through a pipe and to Ratigan secret lair. They thought they had found Olivia in a bottle, but it was Fidget in disguise - Basil had been tricked and trapped by Ratigan himself, a reunion even the detective could not have foreseen. Dejected and shaken, Basil went into shock as the professor mocked him and boasted over how triumphant he was to outwit Basil.
Basil and Dawson were tied down to a mouse trap, where various weapons from a crossbow to an anvil were all poised and ready to destroy them. Ratigan and his henchmen left them behind to die, off to Buckingham Palace to kidnap the Queen and replace her with a robot that Olivia's father was forced to make by Ratigan in order to fool the public. Thankfully Dawson snapped Basil out of his depression, and the latter was able to help the two of them and Olivia and her father to escape. Going to Buckingham palace, they put an end to Ratigan's plan, but after a chase on land and air, they end up crashing into the inner mechanism of the Big Ben Clock Tower where the final battle between Basil and Ratigan took place.
Both fell from the face of the clock, but only Basil survived. Seemingly. He and Dawson were both knighted by the Queen herself, and the two became the famous crime solving duo reminiscent of Sherlock Holmes and David Watson.
Ex Boyfriend

Sheraton and Roman met back in college, and the two very quickly became lovers.
