Darkness grabbed his sister and hugged her feeling sorry for what he did. He just wanted things to go back to the way they were before. "Em..I'm sorry..I mean it.."

"But sorry's just a word! It doesn't mean anything, you just don't want me to be mad at you!" Emarni sobbed into her brother's shirt, "I hate you. I hate all of you." She sniffed.

Looking at his sister, he feels sadness and hatred toward himself. "Do you really mean that Emarni..do you really hate me..?"

"Yes. No. I don't know." Emarni said, "Just don't leave me!" As usual, she was being pathetic. She clung to her brother, hopelessly.


"Please, don't leave me." she sobbed and hugged him tightly.

Darkness half smiles and hugs his little sister tightly. "I'm not going anywhere Em. I promise. Its you and me against the world now."

(I'm just finishing Gran Torino and I feel like Emarni does right now)

"O-okay." Emarni said, looking up at her brother, "Hey, I think I might be starting to remember things. I keep having... Dreams... Thoughts..." She smiled up at her brother. That was what he wanted, wasn't it? For her to remember?

Ayakashi peeped around the corner, wondering who was causing the commotion at this time of day. She saw Wraps entering his room and Darkness comforting Emarni. The demon rolled her eyes. So much emotional drama for the past few days. How the hell were they supposed to relocate at this rate?


She made her way back to her room and sat at the windowsill again. "I'll wait for the storm to subside," she growled to herself, staring at the night lights dotting the dark city.

Candy stared to the man she had killed by making his shadow strangle him. Some men just couldn't pay and she didn't play with those guys, she wasn't free. She yawned and pouted, man this city was tough, there were cops everywhere. She sighed this had been a fail of a night, Candy walked back to the hotel and lit a cig.

Darkness saw Ayakashi around the corner and smiled. He looked back to Emarni. "Really..like..what did you see?"

"Just... Stuff..." Emarni said, "Mom and Dad were great, huh?" She wiped her eyes and smiled. Her brother was going to be so proud of her for being able to remember stuff like this.


"And... I was really different, wasn't I?" Emarni looked down, "I understand why you were suprised about how different I was."

He nods and a tear forms in his eye. "You changed when they came in and..when they.." Darkness can't speak or even say the words he was thinking. "You looked up to me and asked me for everything."

 

[amended]

Wraps sighs and opens his door, "Emarni, I'm sorry for yelling at you. I'll get you something special when I go out later on, is there anything you'd like?" He stands in his doorway.

 

[jinkx]

"I'm sorry." Emarni said, "I'm upsetting you, again. I... I only wanted to make you happy. I want you to be proud of me. Because right now, being your sister is the only thing I have going for me. If I can't be good at that..." She trailed off and shook her head, "I'm sorry." 
She turned around and faced Wraps.


"You don't have to get me anything." Emarni said.

Wraps shrugs, "Ok then, but if you need anything, please let me know." He walks back into his room.

Darkness smiles. "You're not upsetting me sweetie. I'm glad you remember. Its just hard to deal with sometimes ya know? I will always be proud of you dear. I mean that."

 

[Mikailgirl]

"Yo Wraps when you go out can you grab me a pack of cigs, I'm running low. I"ll pay you back." She calls to him as he walks into his room.

Emarni turned back to her brother.


"Good. I don't have to tell you that I'm proud of you, right? You already know that?" she said, "And I'm sorry that I said I hated you. I don't. You're annoying sometimes but... I love you really." She frowned, "Can we stop being all mushy and nice now?"

Wraps sighs, he has to get cigs, he never really was one to smoke or anything. He finishes making his fake bank account with the complimentary hotel computer, and he shuts it down and lays on his bed.

Ayakashi hopped off the windowsill and went down through the hallways again. Emarni and Darkness were still talking. "Are we done delving into our past and emotions now? I have something objectively more important to discuss," she said as she approached the vampires.

"Yeah, don't worry, Ayakashi. We're done." Emarni said, smiling brightly, "What do you want to talk about?"

Darkness lets his sister go and smiles. "Sure, Whats going on babe, did something happen?" He looks very curious as to what could be wrong now.

"Moving out of the country," she announced, crossing her arms and leaning against the wall. She tried to hide her blush with her arm as she said that: the topic was what made her break down in front of Darkness in the first place.


"We, ah, can't stay here for long. The longer we stay the more likely our names will get out into the entire country, and I'm sick of running away," she explained, then sighed. The scale of their situation was messing with her head again. She scratched her head. "Any ideas of how we can leave...? I don't know how international boundaries evolved over the years. I guess you could say I want to hear what you vam- guys think."

Candy gasp, looking at the small group..leaving the country, where in the hells would they go. She blinks,well she always wanted to go to Europe, the men there were much better looking than Americans. How to get out though... She knows some people but she wouldn't tell these guys,they'd probably just ignore her again.
