On The Run *Private RP*

"Maybe, but...Other then that, he's had it great. The company has blown up. He has four kids - well, three disa- What ever. I see no reaspon for it. Sophie, why are you looking at me like that?" he babbled. Kendall tended to babble when he was nervous, scared, excited or angry. In this case, it was a mixture of every emotion listed.

Catarina peered at the blend of blood, bullets, cream, coffee, and lumps of sugar. As Joshua ran into her father's office, she asked, "Joshua, where the hell have you been?" She said, "I-"

"why are you so calm?," Sophie asked, feeling her anger and sadness grow. "Your hands are covered with his blood, and you're acting like he just passed out on the floor! Damn it, Kendall!"

"Sophie!" Kendall snapped. "I am just as upset as you are!" Well, maybe less....He thought, but didn't dare say. He took a breath and looked at Joshua and Cat.

Joshua looked at Sophie then at Kendall, absentmindedly touching the still healing bruise on his shoulder. Averting his gaze from his father, he glanced around the room at his siblings.

(Writers block. -.-)

Catarina said, "I-" She ran out of her father's office. A tear rolled down her cheek. She thought, I witnessed my father's death. One word blared into her ears.

Kendall sighed. "Cat," he called, and trotted after her. He stopped in the door way. "Josh, listen for the door, okay? Don't answer it, call me," he ordered, and trotted out. "Cat, are you okay?" he called, catching up to her. He reached to put aq hand on his sister's shoulder, then remembered the blood stain.

Joshua rolled his eyes. Just because Kendall was two years older than him, hardly, he thought he was mister macho. Looking at his dad, he drew in a sharp breath, raising his eyes to look at the white ceiling.

A tear rolled down Catarina's cheek. As she heard Kendall, she turned. She wanted Kendall to comfort her. She wanted to sob into Kendall's arms. She said, "I-" She could not speak.

She was stunned. She said, "Niels killed our father. Niels shot our father in his chest with a bullet."

Kendall blinked and froze. "Cat, what did you see?" he asked, stunned. He shook his head."Walk with me, come on," he told her and walked into the kitchen, running his hands under teh sink. The water ran red. It was enough to make him dizzy, and he leaned on the counter for support. "Cat. tell me everything you saw."

"Josh, what were you doing in the garage? We all need an aliby for the police, or they might..suss....you know," she asked, leaning against the wall.

Joshua looked up at Sophie. "I was fixing the four-wheeler." he replied, standing up from the floor, brushing off his jeans. "You really think they'd suspect us?" he asked, shaking his head in disbelief.

Catarina walked into the kitchen. She peered at the red colored tap water spilling from the faucet. She said, "Kendall, our father, and I were arguing. Neils walked into our father's office. He shot our father in his chest with a bullet. Neils ran out of our father's office."

Josh leaned against the wall behind him. "We couldn't of been the only one's in the house if someone killed our father." he muttered, running a hand through his short hair. Rubbing the back of his neck, he glanced down at his fingers, which were stained red from touching his father's chest, where the bullet wound had been.

(Sweetie pie, this RP is PRIVATE, thankyou)

Kendall sighed. "Cat, I don't....When was this> Why didn't you gtet me, or call the police? This is beyond important."

"Well, w-who do you think did it." Sophie asked. She didn't know anyone that hated her father, exept Kendall, maybe.

(Sorry writer's block.)

Joshua shrugged, wiping a hand down his face. "I don't know. I know Kendall hates dad, and I sure didn't enjoy his company half the time. But I also know Kendall wouldn't of killed him, and I sure didn't." he said, glancing down at his father.

A tear ran down Catarina's cheek. She said, "Kendall, I did not speak to you because-" She was interrupted by the sound of a doorbell ringing. She asked, "Kendall, are you going to answer the door?" She said, "Kendall, the police are here."

"Yeah, I'm going. Don't say anything yet, okay?" Kendall told her, and walked past her to the door. It made him nervous that the blood stained teh tips of his fingers - what wouldf they say to that? He sighed and opened the front door. "H-hi. Come in," he said to the waiting officers outside.

"Hi, are you the supposedly dead man's son?" The police officer asked, stepping inside.

~~~
Sophie heard the door and went over to it.
Kendall knit his eyebrows together. "Yes," he said simply, looking at Sophie as she walked up.
(GRAH!!!! I am at a block...)
"H-He's in the office." Sophie stuttered. One of the police officers tried to comfort her, but it didn't work.
(I hate writer's block!)
Kendall sighed and put his arm around Sophie's shoulders. That usually comforts her. The embrace of a role model - of a big brother - who understood. Not some cop trying to vaguely understand. "So, are you going to search for fingerprints? Or a gun? Question us? Or just stand here," he asked, with as much respect as his irritation and anger and sadness and confusion would allow.
