On The Run *Private RP*

"Don't rush us, boy." one of the police officers said.

Sophie was happy that Kendall was trying to make her feel better. She hugged him and cried some more.
 
"Nothing to rush if you're doing nothing," Kendall muttered, but probably loud enough taht they heard. He squeezed Sophie's shoulder, and wished they would hurry the hell up and do their jobs....
 
The officers walked into the office to inspect the crime scene. They took photos, looked for finger prints and looked at the body. "Will you kids come down to the station with us to be questioned?"

Sophie was shaking because she was scared, sad, angry and confused. She replied "Sure." She would do whatever it took to find out what happened to her dad.
 
Kendall knit his eyebrows. "What kind of questions?" he asked. He was a little shaken up, and did not want to put all his trust in these men.


(Stupid Writer's block...)
 

As Catarina walked into her father's office, she peered at the blend of blood, bullets, cream, coffee, and lumps of sugar. She frowned as the police officers asked, "Will you kids come down to the station with us to be questioned?" Agreeing with Kendall, she thought, What kind of questions shall the police officers ask us?

"We will ask you stuff like, what happened earlier today, who you suspect, you know." the officer said.

Sophie was getting mad at Kendall. "Will you stop asking them questions and just let us go?" she whispered in Kendall's ear.
 
"Hush, Phee Phee," Kendall told her, in an attempt to lighten her spirits - as least a little bit. "Okay. We can do that...I guess."
 
(Time skip to the police station.)


One of the officers walked out of the door of the questioning room "Kendall, your up." he said.

Sophie was nervous for Kendall, because of course they will suspect him, he had the worst relationship with his dad and he didn't want the company. She knew he didn't,but the police might not feel the same way.
 
Kendall sighed and stood up, walked into the interrogation room, and sat down. "Okay, lets do this," he muttered, leaning back into the uncomfortable chair. What if they suspected him?
 

Catarina peered at Kendall, Joshua, Sophie, and the police officers.

Catarina sat between Joshua, and Sophie. She thought, ​What if the police officers suspect Kendall, Joshua, Sophie, and I? She began laughing. She thought, Why would the police officers suspect Kendall, Joshua, Sophie, and I?

Kendall hesitated, thinking about it. "Well, not really. I mean...We fought pretty heavily this morning, but that's...that's the norm. I hadn't seen after that - I made an effort for taht," he said, feeling terrible that his father died mad at him. "And, please don't call me son. I have a name."
 
"Sorry, Kendall. What were you fighting about?" the police asked, he suspected Kendall.


(Sorry, writer's block.)
 
Kendall sucked in a breath, and released it. A cool feeling quickly washed over him, buut was gone just as fast. "I don't want the company," he said simply. That was all this man was gonna get. They do not need to weasle their way into Kendall's mind and relationship with his father. If he was guilty, they had a right. But he wasn't. He was completley innocent.
 
"Was there anyone that you think would have done this to your father?" the police asked, leaning in ward.

Sophie wanted to know what was going on in there. To occupy herself she asked Cat "Why do you you think this happened to him, Cat?" She wasn't crying as much anymore, but it still hurt.
 
"His buisness partner," Kendall said without hesitation. "I don't want the company, but whether I like it or not, it's mine now. My dad's partner - Niels O'Neal - wants it, but he's stuck as a partner - a pawn. So, why wouldn't he kill James? Maybe I'm next," he said, then blinked, realizing what he just said. It was all subcouncious, but it all made sense now. Yes, perfect sense.....
 
Catarina said, "I am fairly sure Niels killed our father because he wanted our father's wealth." She scoffed. She realized what she said. She hugged Sophie. She said, "Sophie, Niels killed our father."

"So, you think this guy would do something like this?" The officer asked.

Sophie was in shock, she started to cry more. "But, how do you know?" Sophie asked, the anger building up inside her.
 
"He had some anger issues," Kendall told the officer. "I am wondering how much he liked my father, but people will do anything to make a big buck fast." Kendall leaned inward and put his elbow on the table, his chin in his hand.
 

A tear rolled down Catarina's cheek. She said, "Sophie, I witnessed our father's death. I-" She could not speak. She was stunned. She said, "Sophie, Niels killed our father. Niels shot our father in his chest with a bullet."

"Go find this Niels guy," The officer said to his partner, he turned back to Kendall "Was your dad and Niels close?"

Sophie got up "Why didn't you say anything!" she yelled she was so mad.
 
Kendall sighed. "Very. I called him Uncle Niels when I was younger. But, like I said, people will do anything for money and power," he said, narrowing his eyes. When kendall saw Niels next, he was going to tell him everything he thought. This was ridiculas. James didn't have to die, Kendall didn't even want the company. Why didn't it occur to Niels gthat Kendall might sell it to a close family friend? Too bad he didn't know any - Niels was a traitor and a theif. He stole Sophie and Cat's peace of mind.
 

A tear rolled down Catarina's cheek. She hugged Sophie. She said, "Sophie, calm down. I am as upset as you are." Although she was not as upset as Sophie was, she wanted to make Sophie feel better. She did not understand how Sophie had such a great relationship with her father.

"So, last question, did you hear a gunshot? The officer asked leaning in even closer.

"I don't want to calm down," Sophie yelled "Tell me why you didn't say anything!" Sophie was so angry, she pulled away from Cat. She wasn't as sad anymore, she was angry. All the emotion she had held in came out in rage.
 

As Sophie pulled from Catarina, she scoffed. She shouted, "Sophie, I am beginning to become angered! Shut the hell up!" As she realized what she shouted, she became stunned. She did not mean to not speak to Sophie about witnessing her father's death.
