Realistic or Modern On Angels Paint Brushes(t0nk)

Lily looks scared, she frowns "Well it depends..What do you mean by that?" Lily is confused, though blushing.
Lily sighs looking down at her sketchbook, drawing to ease her nervousness.

Dropping her face into her hands Monica let out a silent sigh. "The question about my sizes was a joke. Trying to make you laugh a little so you can relax and take a breath. But you know when some says anything about a womans three sizes they mean this" she said as she pointed to her chest, hips and waist in an attempt to spare Lily more embarrassment after making sure she had the other girls attention. "I'm not trying to embarrass or make you nervous Lily, I promise you that."

"I'm sorry..I just don't feel nice here...I'd rather go somewhere else, somewhere like your house or something..Not mine though!" Lily was quick to mention that she didn't want to go to her house. Something is up with Lily and her home life. Lily continues to draw though. Lily is almost finished. The portrait of Lily looks incredibly real and very well done, Lily had worked hard, and she was doing it to impress Monica. Lily cares about what Monica thinks about her, and that's clear.

Monica scowled internally at how quickly Lily was to point out that she didn't feel good about herself inside the school or at home and would rather be anywhere else with her. Abandoning her sandwich to rest on the paper bag she gently grasped the other girls hand. "Lily, calm down for me. The only judgement you will get from me is on your art and I can guarantee you that will only be praise for how it truly is." Her words were heartfelt and sincere as she kept her eyes locked on the pink haired girls own gaze. "Tell me what you like- going to the movies, walking through the park, a quiet trip through a museum? If the first date goes well I really don't see why there couldn't be more. Just help me out a little ok beautiful? Given the fact you're so shy I want you to not only enjoy your first date but for it to be something to remember fondly" she said squeezing the girls hand with calming pressure in an attempt to get Lily to focus on solely on her. Not on the other kids around them, not the school or even the drawing under her fingers but her.

Lily zones out of the world and only focuses on Monica, her mind races and her eyes say it all. Lily is scared, and nervous, but it all goes away as instinct takes over.

Lily leans over the table and attempts to kiss Monica

Monica held up a hand blocking the attempt at a kiss. Before Lily possible freaked out and ran away taking her action as a rejection of her she circled the table and sat beside her. "Close your eyes for me ok?" she asked still keeping her hand clasped on the other girls. "I'm not rejecting you Lily but I don't do big public displays of affection for anyone, not even my family. I know a spot where it's quiet and I think you'll like it. Trust me." She leaned over a little kissing the girls cheek softly, eyes shining with sincerity.

"O-Ok.." Lily shuts her eyes, curious. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to do that." Lily is shaking again. God this little blushy baby just can't get a break.
Lily tightly clenches her hands, very shy and nervous about what's going to happen with her eyes shut.

Monica packed her stuff quickly before helping Lily to her feet and tugged her out of the cafeteria. "It's fine Lily, you don't have to worry about it. I can understand why you did." Getting to the spot was a quick jaunt around the back of the school near the track and field track. "Your art speaks for you. You asked me out in a roundabout way because you like me. Which makes me happy you know? I like you too, I already said why and I can guess why you like me given how you draw my portraits in your sketchbook." She helped guide Lily to sit on a bench before a bed of carefully cultivate flowers. "Open your eyes" she encouraged with a pleasant little smile on her lips.

Lily opens her eyes and blushes, smiling brightly and dropping her nervous tone. Lily is very very happy now.
Lilys smile looks as bright as a full moon in the pitch-black sky.
"Thank you Monica..This is so nice..." Lily looks calm and collected now. Finally.

Monica let the quiet just sit around them for a moment. Seeing Lily so relaxed and smiling so brightly was a beautiful sight. She was really a sweet girl and if things worked out she could see her being a potential first, maybe only, girlfriend she'd need. "It's peaceful, you probably wouldn't believe it but this whole flower box is cultivated and maintained by the football team. The coach uses some form of anger management thing with the guys to maintain and change out the soil and a flimsy excuse of tending the flowers as a patience parallel for when they have to make plays on the field under pressure. It's stupid but those hulking giants do a good job." She plucked a flower about to break from the stem and placed it in Lily's hair behind her ear. "It suits you" she said in a quiet voice before leaning in and kissing the other girl softly on the lips. It was chaste and light but the sweetness was not missed as her eyes fluttered closed enjoying the moment.

Lily was about to say something, the kiss catches her off guard. "Monica I- Mmm~" Lily puts her arms around Monica and leans into the kiss. Lily has soft lips, in all honesty she has soft skin. Lilys pink glasses touch Monicas nose, which Lily feels bad about. Lilys mind begins to race:
"OHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGOD! Ok get it together Lily she just kissed you. SHE KISSED YOU! AHHH! GOD THIS IS TOO GOOD! Okokokok just, remember not to get in over your head Lily."
Lily brings one of her hands to Monicas hair and runs her fingers through it gently.

For a minute Monica let the kiss linger, her head tilting a little to lean it into Lily's hand. Reluctantly breaking off she fixed her gaze on the other girl smiling softly. "How was it?" she asked with a quiet whisper like tone. Truth be told that was her first real kiss and she was happy about it. Between there being a light sweetness to them and just how soft they were it was like... Well, she failed to draw a conclusion but her eyes glowed with warmth as she rested her forehead against Lily's. "So about those date ideas huh?" she asked with a light hearted laugh.

Lily giggles. Lily looks genuinely happy, she's smiling breathing normally rather than hyperventilating like normal. This was Lilys first kiss, and it was the best thing she's ever felt. "That was my first kiss Monica...I loved that"
Lily is blushing lightly, it's hard to describe how happy Lily is. The pink haired girl sits back for a moment, looking at the blue sky. Lily lets out a happy sigh. Lily rests her hands on her knees.
Lily looks pretty in the sunlight, as she looks up to the clouds. Oh what could be going through this artistic mind?

Monica was struck by how Lily looked in the streams of sunlight dancing about her. She looked calm and happy beyond words and... She quickly gave up trying to find the words to describe just how radiant Lily looked. "What's going on oh great Picasso in that mind of yours?" she teased gently poking Lily's cheek. It felt good to be like this with someone. Sure she had friends she joked around and teased but even if they weren't dating, they had to figure what the date would be still, it was nice to have a quiet almost intimate playful teasing moment with a beautiful girl; it was doubly so enjoyable since said girl was Lily.

Lily looks to Monica and shows an adorable smile "I was just thinking about how magical romance is...So for the date you want to go on, I do have an idea. Perhaps we could go to the beach? Or somewhere with sand? We could attempt to create sand castles!" Lily has child like wonder, that will never go away. Lily may be a year older than Monica, but she thinks like a child. Lily is technically an adult too, oh man it's a wonder to see someone this old acting like this.

Monica couldn't help arching an eyebrow at Lily's idea of going to the beach and trying to make sandcastles. If the weather was warmer she wouldn't be adverse to the idea but it was the start of autumn and the chill was already starting to set in. "That's not a bad idea but it's a little cold for the beach don't you think?" she asked poking the other girls cheek playfully again. "If we get a really warm day before winter sets in we'll go but I think right now all it'd get us is sick and I don't think either of us wants to get sick." Her tone was kind as to try not making Lily upset. "What about dinner and a movie? You can choose the movie" she offered dropping her hand that poked Lily's cheek to grasp her hand in her own.

"You'd do that for me?" She asks, blushing. Lily had forgotten about the season, spending all your time inside does that to you.
Lily really likes the idea, bit in all honesty, she just wants to go somewhere safe, she knew her home wasn't safe, but it was isolated.
Lily has abusive parents. Lily has never said anything about it due to fear. Lily lives a little bit out of town too so it wouldn't be easy to run away. Lily has a very bad situation at home, and she just wishes it could go away. She wants to be comfortable, and maybe alone...Maybe she would like to be with Monica..
Lily thinks, then blushes to herself.

"Well if we go by the book of standard first dates, dinner and a semi-public activity is practically a must" Monica said as if it was a fact. All it took was thirty seconds for her to devolve into soft laughter. "Yeah, I'd do that for you Lily. Did you expect me to say no to a smile that brightened up your eyes so much? I would rather see that beautiful smile on your lips over doing something to see it disappear." It was nice just sitting there in comfortable quiet with Lily at her side. There was an aura around her that was just this... this utterly relaxing type that made her feel at ease. Leaning over a touch she let her cheek rest on Lily's head, eyes closing as a sigh of content escaped her lips. As relaxing and soothing as it was to just sit there with Lily in the quiet, the soft scents of the flowers dancing around them, she knew it wouldn't last and not fifteen minutes after nearly dozing against her companion in a near girlfriend-esque snuggle the warning bell to get to class rang making her groan.

Lily shared the moment of tranquility, very content with the situation, though the bell that echoed through the hallways scared Lily beyond compare. Lily jumped out of her seat and quickly began to look around.
Lily realizes what it was and tries to giggle, though it sounds a little forced.
"So Monica...What's your next class?" She asks curiously, begging in her head, that it is the same as hers. Lily desperately doesn't want to let go of Monica, she barely knows what she can do without her.

Monica had to dig out her schedule and squint a little all the while muttering curses about forgetting her reading glasses. "World History I think. Can't see worth a damn without my reading glass for small print and I forgot the damn things this morning." Not many people knew she had prescribed reading glasses and she preferred it that way. She would be popular still and have her legion of adoring admirers, hell she probably would gain even more with the whole 'glasses on a beautiful girl is sexy' bs most people believed in, but she found them annoying as all get out. "Yeah, its World History" she said after struggling it out for a minute.

Lily leans over "No..Love, that says 'World Science'.." Lily giggles lightly. Lily wears her pink heart-shaped glasses cause she thought they looked nice. Lily never really was popular, if anything, she was disliked, but Lily never let that get to her somehow. Lily has the superpower of just, not caring about what others think of her. Though she can only do it after the mockery, when it's happening, she can't take it. Lily has been seen multiple times just crying in the lunchroom because of something someone said. Lily is also a target to bullying and harassment, she can't defend herself so attacking her is simply, really easy. Lily has never really had friends to defend her until now.

Monica scowled squinting at her schedule once more. "You sure about that? It looks like World History to me... Then again I'm mostly blind to small print right now like this damn schedule.." she complained stuffing the dumb paper in her pocket. "Come on, lets get back yeah?" She stood and offered Lily an arm. "So I'm 'Love' now huh? Not even had our first date and already coming up with terms of endearment for me" she teased softly poking Lily's side playfully.

Lily blushes violently "I-I-I'm sorry!" Lily begins to panic. Lily begins to mumble "Ohnononono. This is terrible, I'm awful at this. Why me? Why does she choose me?" Lily begins to whine like a dog, letting out a long high pitched moan. Lily is freaking the hell out, though knowing her, this could be easily solved with something romantic.

Monica rolled her eyes fondly as she kissed Lily for a brief second before pulling back. "I don't mind, I was only teasing you hun" she said coming with her own on the spot endearment. "You don't have to worry about doing anything that might upset me since I know you don't have a mean spirited bone in your body. I tease the people I care about Lily, its a good thing." Her tone was soothing and soft as she rubbed her free hand in a calming circle on the other girls arm. "Do you honestly think I look or feel upset? The answer is not one bit. Truth be told, I'm actually rather flattered to be thought of so fondly already. Just relax ok? I doubt you could do anything to upset me whatsoever" she promised with a light smile on her lips and an endearingly kind glow to her eyes.

"Monica..I'm sorry.." Lily feels bad for panicking. Lily blushes. "I want to be alone with you Monica.." Lily blushes more as she says that. Lily loves Monica more than anything. Lily sighs, relaxing her muscles, her mind clearing, that's when Monica realizes that a group of boys saw them kiss. Lily blushes "M-Monica! S-Someone saw us.." The group of boys giggle, a few of them look disappointed. Lily is genuinely frightened, and its very obvious.
