First and foremost, Mara is an intelligent young woman. Interested in learning and retaining such information is a passion of hers. But, while this is true, this isn't the first thing people would notice as she is incredibly socially awkward even though she doesn't shy away from others' company. Her childhood left her a bit of a pessimist with a bitter outlook on life, even though that has been slowly fading away the past few years.

Physical Abilities & Skills


Ranged Combat​
This is one of the few areas the woman excelled in, being able to use a firearm with decent efficiency.​
Out of Practice​
Due to her lack of time in the field or having any time to train, she is severely out of practice.​
Melee Combat​
Like all other agents, she was trained on how to defend herself without a weapon.​
Bare-minimum training​
With only the basics down, and barely utilizing what she had learned, she is hardly effective when engaging in combat in this manner.​

Weaknesses/Limitations


Part-Fish - If the woman were to really push it, she can remain out of water for around a maximum 12 hours however she doesn't do this often. Along with this, large amounts of water would be able to trigger a transformation instead of normal submerging, which is normally rather inconvenient. This is due to a recessive genetic mutation that her family has carried.​
Physically Inexperienced - Not spending much time (enough to get by) trying to hone her physical form, she doesn't possess much upper body strength. Her tail when transformed, however, is a much different story.​

History

Mara was born to a peculiar couple. Her parents were both merfolk although both with vastly different views on the currently changing world. For the most part she lived with her mother within the city outside of a community, going to a public school and doing what and child her age would. But during the summers, she would spend time with her father who was too set in his ways to be forced out of the close-knit group he was apart of. It wasn't a bad thing, per say, but it did make the couple noticeably distant even to the point where her mother secretly had begun dating again.

Throughout her childhood Mara was better off working alone or with anyone but members of her own race. The few times her mother had tried to get her to socialize with them, it had always turned sour seeing as she didn’t hold the same disdain for humans as a large majority of them did, leading to bullying and so on when she did end up visiting her father.

Word about this was quick to reach her father, the man soon feeling surprisingly guilty about not being there for his daughter and as she turned 18, asked her to come join him for a year or so to try and forget everything before she left for college. While it wasn’t the most ideal solution, she did. Yet after visiting him, she left, getting a new perspective and wanting to try something a bit different instead.

This “something different” was none other than becoming a SMITED agent. There really wasn’t much cliche personal motivation, aside from a desire to actually do something with her life. And so she did… not much more to it than that.

She was with them for 3 years when the existence of nonhumans was finally revealed. It was an.. awkward year afterwards although unlike some, Mara understood why they did so. Which is why she remained with them for another 5, still being an agent at this time. How active Mara is is up to debate, however, as having someone on a team with such a limitation isn’t a good thing.

The woman remains with SMITED after the few months of what she would consider a disastrous mission, feeling extremely reluctant to give fieldwork another go.

Personality

Nearly always standing tall and in the moment (at least when her head isn’t up in the clouds), Xaira is confident, social and rarely in a bad mood. She tends to get cocky, loud, and sarcastic, but on her best behavior has an easygoing, playful personality nine times out of ten. She is carefree and rather self-centered, yet has a deep desire to connect with others deeply, despite it not being exactly ‘in her nature’ per se. Despite all of this, she’s a fiercely loyal ally to have who’ll drop anything to help someone in dire need. Hurting the people she cares for most is the easiest way by far to piss her off, as well.

Brave
She tends not to think twice or let fear get to her when there is a goal in front of her to achieve.
Compassionate
Xaira doesn’t find it too difficult to put herself into other’s shoes, look past faults, work well with others and be there for anyone who might need her.
Outgoing
She is, overall, a social butterfly who loves to talk, which depending on the people she is interacting with and the given situation, could be either a positive or negative thing, or neither.
Foolhardy
Xaira tends to rush into situations without thinking, which often causes more problems than it solves.
“slow”
Xaira tends to be rather slow on the uptake, scatterbrained, and forgetful, sometimes to the detriment of all those surrounding her.

Powers/Abilities


Main: Fire Breath: Able to conjure a jet of flame from her throat that shoots out approximately 10 feet directly in front of her. the flame is not hot enough to melt metal or the like, but flesh and non-reinforced materials will be hard-pressed to escape the heat unscathed. Can only be used in full Dragon form.

Sub: draconic physique: possesses tougher skin than most species in her dragon form, which is also heat resistant in addition to resistant to mundane weaponry. In human form, the small patches of scales dotting her body boaast the same resistance, but the very mundane skin that encompasses the rest of her form is just as vulnerable as any human's. She is also graced with four sets of sharp natural weapons, in the form of the claws upon her hands and feet.
Sub: Flight: She is able to glide for short distances if and when needed in human form, but take full flight in her draconic form.
Weaknesses/Limitations


Cold vulnerability
Any sort fo magic that chills the air or is meant to freeze or inflict damage with cold works rather well on cold-blooded dragonkin, slowing their bodies and weakening them considerably.
Form restriction
Xaira’s full Dragon form cannot be used indoors or underground.
Awkwward anatomy
Xaira’s claws are not ideal for tasks requiring great finesee, such as interfacing with human technology.

History

Xaira comes from a long line of Wind-aligned Dragonkin, which had lived in a self-built, hidden, remote abode high in the mountains of western Europe for millennia. Her small tribe of Dragonkin were (and still are) obsessed with keeping their territory and almost utterly detatched from the affairs of the world at large. They educated her as she grew only on things they felt as important, mostly relating to dragonkind and their interactions with various other species throughout the millennia. She was content with her very quiet life (minus the occasional challenge dealt to her parents by another dragonkin) throughout her early years, but once she began growing into her teens, she began to long for something else. Anything else, really. She ended up self-teaching herself flight in a bold move that would become her very first of many throughout her life, fueled by her frustrations with the entire small community that surrounded her.

In Xiara’s opinion from first hearing about them. The Revelation was a wonderful opportunity for all benevolent supernatural creatures, and in fact all races of the world that did not mean others harm as a whole. She felt that her people in particular had remained in hiding far too long for their own good.

Her father and mother had firey spirits, but they were stuck in old ways. She never understood how they lived like that, barely ever interacting with anyone but themselves. Sure, they’d given many reasons for it. They ranged from stories about the things humans had done to paranoias regarding what they “could” or “might” do, all the way through simply stating, over and over, that the supernatural world should’ve always been kept secret. Then, there were the others her age. She was nothing like any of them, who all comepletely eaccepted their roles within society, doing the exact same thing their parents were doing and not really making any progress, having nothing to show for the long lives Kin lived. Xaira couldn’t fathom living like dragons have for millions of years still, when the world had changed so much since then. So, at 19, she escaped the bleak society she’d been living in. The males trying to court her, the fights to the death over land, the , in her opionion idiotic, politics of the cmp as they were… all of it.
She simply ran away, after leaving a note explaining how she felt to her parents. She hadn’t seen them since, because she had a goal when she first joined. This goal was simple: do something that mattered. She’d heard tell of an organization beating back all the greatest evils of the world, and to her it sounded like the most important thing to use her draconic prowess for, something that the others in her village ever fathomed. Jounreying out into the world was… jarring, to say the least, but now, since she has reached her goal of being a member of SMITED, she didn’t regret the insane journey she’d just gone through.

How resistant exactly? In both forms?

Also, how large would you estimate her dragon form and what does her dragon form look like?

In humanoid form, she'd certainly be able to take hot steam and smoke and the like and be fine, but still be burned by fire. In Dragon form, it'd probably take molten Lava being poured over her to cause her grave danger. As for mundane weaponry, a blade has to be pretty sharp to be able to pierce her humanoid skin without tons of effort, and a lot of force ot bruise it as all, and in dragon form you'd probably start needing supnatural strength to harm her with mundane weaponry but it is possible. I'll edit dis if ya think it's OP or what have ya.

Her dergon form, I'd say, is around 10 feet tall and 15 feet long from head to tail base when standing up on all fours. Lemme find a pic:

To me, it would make more sense to have her more vulnerable in a form where she doesn't have those dragon scales. So, the patches would be hard to pierce, but the rest wouldn't be as tough since it's not the same hide.

The full dragon form is fine, just wanted to make sure she wasn't the size of a 3 story building. X3

PERSONALITY: Vergil is a lone wolf, often preferring doing things by himself, but he does attempt to work with the group. He's also perceptive, which helps him figure things out. His demeanor is calm, meaning he's more rational than emotional. Even though he's calm and smart, he's also cocky, which get him into trouble sometimes.

Intelligent- He can come up with ideas on the fly and is able to deduce things like a detective, which requires him some time to put the pieces together in a way that makes the most sense. Has a calm demeanor, but can be cocky sometimes.

Main: Lightning- Able to use lightning as projectiles, teleporting short distances, and recovery purposes with the right voltage.

Sub: Brawler- Adept at close quarters, unarmed combat, in case his powers end up failing him.

Sub: Tacticion- He's able to find ways to make any job as easy as possible, when he's not too confident with his powers.

WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS

- Water vulnerability- Water can weaken his powers and himself, depending on how much he either has on him or been in at the time. Rain water doesn't do much, but anything like a puddle can hurt him. Larger bodies of water like lakes and oceans could potentially kill him

- Walking battery- As he uses his powers, his stamina will drain until he gets too tired to fight.

- Conductor- Can't be near anything metal while active, as they can absorb electricity and electricute everyone, including teammates if not careful

HISTORY
Not much is said about Vergil, accept that he's from an elemental province that was filled with his kind. But in actuality, he was more than that. Vergil was once a combat instructor there, teaching new elementals how to utilize their powers for protection when the need arises. One day, his home was attacked by corrupted elementals, he was able to help fend them off, but at a price, for the battle has taken the lives of many innocents.

As the province was being rebuilt, he heard that the humans have revealed the existance of supernatural entities to the world, though he shrugged it off as just news, for it didn't concern him much. It wasn't until afterwards that a group called SMITED was calling for volunteers to help combat malevolant beings that are trying to destroy anything and everything, that concerned him, for he knows that the province can't survive another attack in the condition it is in. Vergil packed whatever provisions he had and left the province, hoping to stop the madness before things get out of hand That was only two years ago, now he is a member of the agency, though his lone wolf attitude does annoy some of his peers.

Whilst he might not be particularly academically intelligent, he has good street smarts, can read people easily, can understand the flow of a conversation or situation to predict what a person may do next

Often only speaks when necessary, great listener, prefers to observe and analyse before giving his opinion.

Often tries to keep his inner machinations hidden, seldom reveals his true emotions, thoughts or feelings.

He is most comfortable when he is on a mission or doing some kind of work to keep him preoccupied, however his serious nature does sometimes allow for jokes or recreational activities with friends.

Ruthless
Despite his less daunting traits, he is also rather unmerciful to those he deems an enemy: has no qualms killing, torturing, manipulating or otherwise gaining an advantage over an enemy so long as his warped morals call for it.

Morally Ambiguous
Although he believes in fighting for the people, being morally just and essentially a "good guy", he has a slightly warped sense of morals to begin with. Anyone hindering him in a mission is seen as an enemy, who he may or may not outright eliminate. Anyone attacking him, his allies or perceived innocents are enemies to be eliminated. Mission targets are enemies to be eliminated unless otherwise directed.

Powers/Abilities


Main: Portalcraft - The user may create a portal anywhere they have recently seen. The edges of any portal will divide physical matter in half.

Sub: Swordsmanship - The user, through training and practice, is quite skilled in using a sword for combat purposes.

Weaknesses/Limitations


Fatiguing
Excessively sustaining numerous small portals or a very large portal will drain the user to the point of unconsciousness, to which every currently opened portal will close aside from a designated "anchor portal" that will remain open regardless but may only be able to fit a person.

Distance
The further away a location is, the longer it will take to create a portal there. A portal can be created no further than within a city-sized radius. Portals within the user's immediate vicinity are made instantaneously, however portals at the edges of this range will take up to 10 minutes to create.

Sight
The user must be able to see the location where they desire a portal to be placed. Whilst the power will work anywhere within the user's peripheral vision, its effectiveness is reduced in low light and is completely negated in complete darkness. The same is true if the user is somehow blinded. Prolonged constant eye-contact is not required to create portals that require a long creation-time, so long as the initial portal 'mark' is there.​

History

Kypher didn't have a particularly notable upbringing. His younger years were mainly spent learning from his parents: a pair of under-the-radar covert ops mercenary agents. Intelligence-gathering, assassinations, kidnappings, sabotage, terrorism. For the right price, anything was possible. Kypher, who proved to be quite introverted, chose to listen to their stories and teachings, learning about their dangerous lifestyle.

As he grew further into boyhood, he began to join them, first as an operator to guide and otherwise support them, but sometimes in the field at the heart of the mission. And he was talented, as expected as the son of two metaphorical ghosts of death. It was one fateful day, however, that this tri-partnership would come to a tragic end. Kypher, acting as the operator, had to witness the death of his parents. A deal gone wrong. A trap. There was no escape, and so their final moments were spent speaking to their child as the inevitable end closed in.

Kypher spent the next few years after that continuing their work, perfecting his skills. It was during this time that he'd made an incredible discovery. Magic. Specifically, his own affinity for it. Kypher had accidentally cast magic in the form of a portal during a mission out of pure instinct. The implications were dire. Had he always had this ability? Could he have used before? Could he have used it to save his parents?

Stricken with grief, Kypher found salvation in SMITED. To atone for his failures, to take responsibility, Kypher joined them in order to make up for the deaths he had caused. From then on out, he vowed never to take an innocent life again. Only the evil must be punished, and so too would Kypher be, when the time came for his retribution.

Personality

ISFP-“The Adventurer”. Zeke is self-indulged most of the time. He enjoys following ideas and arts to expand his personality and his own art as a painter and sculptor. He enjoys most of his time with others, however, he prefers to work on his projects alone to give him concentration. He usually sculpts desert scenes with lamas in the background. He usually changes the scene to have deeper meanings. Zeke is logical and always tries to tie both sides of his mind together. He speaks generally in a lyrical manner and sings on the side. Zeke believes that most people are, at their core, out for themselves and can be distrusting if this "core" is exposed.

Zeke takes grudges very seriously and goes out of his way to deal with those who transgressed himself or others he cares about.

Powers/Abilities


Main: Acrobatics, Zeke can parkour and traverse three-dimensional space well. He can use both of his forms effectively to make good combo moves. He can traverse rough terrain better than normal.

Sub: Close-range adept, Zeke is excellent at close ranges. He can dodge reasonably well. He also has proficiency with close range weapons. He tends to carry short swords, shotguns, and other appropriate weapons

Sub: Fast/elusive, Zeke runs faster and reacts quicker than those typical of his race. He's no blur, but he can perform things quickly.
Weaknesses/Limitations


Zeke doesn't understand computers very well and needs some help managing them. He won't be able to hack into anything, or operate them for any degree of quality.

Inexperienced team player, Zeke has little experience with working with others and will have a hard time coordinating himself with others.

Magic Vulnerability, Zeke's scar makes him vulnerable to magic, causing magic to deal more damage to him and possibly add random effects to spells on him.​

History


Zeke lived an active life in the reclusive pack on the edge of the world, working with his father and his two elder brothers to support the pack. Riley and Matthew were their names. Zeke usually hunted, using his speed and agility to hunt prey. The art of the hunt set the stage for Zeke's immortal interest in sculpting and the arts. Zeke's pack lived in alpine terrain.While on breaks, Zeke would begin to decorate the grounds of his home and eventually he would craft the various symbols and statues for the legends of his pack. He would later paint various murals to iron in his impact on the culture of his pack. Over years, he thrived in his pack, learning and sparring his elder brothers to improve his skills.

Matthew had many dealings with gangs, forced into to save Zeke's life from a rival kin tribe. Matthew found an increasing difficulty in staying out of life-threatening circumstances. Matthew worked for a supernatural gang using mundanes to deal illegal materials to the mundane world. Scrolls, books, and other items before SMITED publicly announced the existence of the supernatural. Matthew became "higher up" in the pecking order, being in charge of logistics. Matthew wanted to rat them out, but Zeke's scar kept him quiet. A diffused curse now once was a life-ending magick made to keep Matthew compliant. Matthew was strong, intelligent, and clever. He was perfect for the role in the gang. One fateful winter night when Matthew would be coming home, he was assassinated by a rival gang. His body mangled in a car crash and eventually burned by the combustion engine. Once Matthew's death was confirmed, Zeke fell into a unrelenting rage. Zeke became violent, destructive, and determined. His entire mind was centered around the death of his beloved brother. He couldn't keep it in.


When SMITED advertised recruitment, he joined reluctantly. He wanted to deal with his "mission" personally. However, Riley had already joined and encouraged Zeke to take a breather from his demons. Zeke eventually accepted to improve himself and catch any clues on who killed his eldest brother Matthew. Riley was already hot on the case a year ago, but Zeke felt that he needed to contribute.

Some grammatical things just for you to fix when you have a chance, but don't affect your CS overall.

Zeke's mind and actions tend to drive people forward and help them keep going in tough scenarios.
This is assuming the perception of others, you might find your PC doesn't inspire the other PCs, but rather annoys them due to his narcissism. You could put something like 'self-driven.'

The further away a location is, the longer it will take to create a portal there.
Needs to mention the actual limit of said distance.

Just gonna clarify - as a just in case - that Magician magic is indeed currently genetic based. So, if he has magical abilities, one or both of his parents did as well.

You can use common terms for the figure area as the scientific types cover things like muscle and fat, but don't cover the spectrum of body types. Also, the weight is a bit much. The average healthy weight for a large framed man is around 188, so at 278lbs and 6" your character would fall under obese. I wanted to see if that was the idea or a mistake.

Skin Tone: Golden Bronze
You character wouldn't have this skin tone color. Elementals are humanoid-like, but that is in form only. Here is a good example.
Humanoid-like beings that are spawned from a specific natural element (earth, air, fire, water, lightning, metal, crystal, wood) that take on physical characteristics of their element.

Main: Lightning- Able to use lightning based abilities like Quintessence Force, Electroportation, and Electrokinesis, among others.
This needs to be broken down and reduced, and any specific power explained. You put powers within a racial power here. Listing off powers and then adding "among others" leaves this open to becoming overpowered very quickly. If it's 'limitless' it will not be allowed.

- Water vulnerability- Water can weaken his powers and himself, depending on how much he either has on him or been in at the time.
Expand on this. What would happen should he encounter water?

Some grammatical issues I wanted to note for correction, though it doesn't affect your CS. Costed is past tense more often used for things like accounting.

Vergil went to the counsel, and asked them if he could leave the province and just that organization, and after some diliberation, approved it, for they see him as a liason for the Province.
There is no counsel or governing body for elementals.
Elementals have no governing body, though they do tend to gravitate towards their own kind and element.

This is assuming on your PCs behalf and imposing a forced perception. Do not assume what SMITED thinks of your character.
