Oh, The Places We Will Go! (JuJuBee&tamaracorine)

Leah loved Noel. She loved her family, but she felt safest with Noel. Their relationship had been a weird one, starting out of nowhere and grown quickly, but somehow it worked. Somehow they always worked.

"Yeah, we don't have to talk about it." Elias told her gently. "I was just making conversation." he smiled back at her and then focussed back on the road. "I went on this date with one of the cheerleaders. Man, it was awkward. I swear that girl has nothing in her head except bubblegum, rainbows... and not much else."

Noel made a small noise, mumbling a bit in his sleep. He shifted slightly, his eyes opening as he looked down to see Leah. He smiled softly at seeing the sight of her and held her close, turning to look at the other two.

Terra snickered at him. "You see? I told you not to go on the date with her. But what did you say to me? Oh I don't know- Something along the lines of 'I love her' or 'She may be the one! I need to take the chance!' " She mimicked him, rolling her eyes with an amused smile.

"You got what you deserved." She said. "Though not all the cheerleaders are like that. I happen to be close friends with a few of them who are well educated young ladies."

(Maybe be careful about deciding what my character has said? He wouldn't have said those things. He's reserved about affection...)

"Hello there." Leah mumbled as she opened her eyes, smiling up at him. "You alright?" she asked, touching his cheek. "As content as I am laying here with you, I get the feeling there's something on your mind. Or am I losing my mind?" she smirked at him.

Elias frowned. "I never said that." he told her, not amused. "Maybe you shouldn't put words in my mouth, Terra... Not ideal. And I got what I deserved? No, I didn't. I went on one date."

Noel looked at Leah and grinned at her.

"I'm fine my love." He mumbled, stretching. He sat up, wrapping his arms around her. "Not thinking about anything. Just watching those two." He said.

Terra frowned at him. "Alright Elias. I was just teasing you." She said, picking her book up. "Don't get so upset over there. I won't joke with you anymore if that's what you want..." She said, turning away from him. With a sigh she opened up her book and began to read.

"Joking is one thing, dude... but you know me, and you know I don't throw around words like 'love' easily. Just... don't paint me to be someone I'm not, you know? You're one of my best friends and if that's who you think I am, some idiot who assumes every girl is the one, then maybe you don't know me." Elias told her quietly, clearly upset.

Leah glanced over and raised an eyebrow, "Don't watch too long." she whispered. "I mean, Elias is sensitive enough and then you add Terra's humour to the situation and... well, things could go wrong. Can't we just make out?"

Terra groaned, dropping her book onto her lap as she turned to look at him.

"Okay Elias!" She said. "I said I was sorry! I shouldn't have messed with you the way I did. I know you're not like that okay? Just drop it. I won't say anything else." She said.

"Sensitivity and Bluntness don't mix well. Wanna make bets on how many fights they'll get into this time?" Noel asked, grinning at her. He then thought about it. "Oh yeah, making out sounds like a wonderful idea." He said, kissing her cheek before pressing his lips against hers.
