Hello everyone. I'm working on my Nation Sheet right now, and I was doing a quick rendering of where I WISH my Nation/Kingdom to be. It's a quick rendering, and I haven't quite figured out the size of each nation yet so this is a (very) rough estimate on my nation.
Everything I am saying is negotiable, and depending on your guys' take on it, may or may not happen at all. I'm putting this up here for opinions and so other people can get an idea of what everyone's thinking about nations.
What I was thinking was a nation with access to a special type of wood that is stronger than all other types. I've found two groups of trees on the map that would be nice for the forests that the stronger trees live in. The access to trees gives them a valuable trading resource to other nations.
Here's my color coated map.
The red outline/coloring is a large city. The one with the blue X is what I hope to be my capitol city.
The yellow outline is the area the Nation's people consider to be "Within the nation" and other nation's people traveling within these boundaries are watched with suspicion.
The blue outline is the area littered with small villages and cities that consider themselves part of my Nation.
Again, I'm not sure what the size is going to be for each nation so mine might not even be a tenth of that size, or it might be bigger. I'm just trying to get some ideas bouncing so we can all have an idea of what our nations should look like.
