Noah smiled softly when she came into the room "Oh yeah? What is it?" He asked quietly while he reached out slowly for her hand. He was so tired, he was getting tired of being tired. He wanted to be back to atleast 70 percent, but right now he was sitting at maybe 30.

Erik nodded some and put his little backpack on the bed as he looked around "Can I have hot chocolate for dessert? Auntie Amma make it the best." He murmured

She went to sit on the edge of the bed, running her fingers through his hair, taking his hand with the other, "I get to take you home tomorrow. So you stay good tonight and I'll bring you some actual underwear instead of the non-elastic stuff you've been forced into... and some shoes... And we're going home finally." She told him, kissing his forehead.

He chuckled and nodded, "If you ask her I think you'll get a yes." He smiled, "But we gotta work out dinner first." He reminded him, "You want a couple minutes on your own or you wanna come downstairs with me?" He asked him, not liking how grown up he sounded already, knowing full well that it was only because he had had to grow up a little quicker.

Erik looked around a moment before taking his hand "I go with you." He said softly still clinging to his stuffed animal "I have chicken nuggies?"

Noah gave her his best smile and squeezed her hand a bit "Really? Thats great." He said softly not realizing he'd let a few tears fall "How is Amma doing?"

She nodded, "We're gonna get you home, get you set up in the lounge with the remotes, Iskald misses his Dad and wants all the cuddles now he's getting old." She smiled, "Nice warm blankets, a fire going. Yeah she's okay, she said Hvitty's been struggling with missing Ivar but they're looking after Erik for a while until Max is doing better." She told him quietly, kissing his cheek. "You're gonna have a nurse come over a couple times a week for a while as well still."

He nodded and took him downstairs "I'll see what we have but if we don't have any here then we can get Jackson to go get us some McDonalds." He smiled, "Tomorrow after nursery I'll pick you up and we're going to go get some groceries so you can show me what you like at the store okay?" He told him, hearing the door open and Amma's voice through the house

Noah groaned happily and gave a small nod "That all sounds really nice, you'll stay with me while you're awake yeah?" He asked quietly kissing her knuckles gently "You're so beautiful you know that?"

Erik giggled and smiled happily "Okie dokie!" He said before rushing to Amma as he heard her voice "Aunt Amma!!! I here for a sleepover!" He said excitedly before hugging her legs tightly

She smiled and nodded, resting her head back. “Of course I will. You’re gonna be allowed in our bed. Mmm I love you puppy.” She murmured, kissing his cheek.

He chuckled a little and went to check the freezer. “How was your visit?” He asked her frowning as she seemed to shake her head. “Oh right, tell me later…. Erik has a request of you.” He told her. “He was wondering if we could have your special hot chocolate for dessert.” He smiled.

Noah smiled happily and squeezed her hand again "I love you too." He murmured tugging her hand for her to lay with him "I can't wait to wear regular clothes again, because this gown is shit." He muttered

Amma smiled some and nodded "I think I can definitely arrange that if you eat your dinner." She said before sending him off and looked at Hvitserk "They've said that Noah can go home tomorrow, he still isn't well but they're okay with him going home."

She nodded as she moved carefully to lay with him, rubbing his chest gently. “I know honey but it’s for good reason. You have any clothes in particular you want me to bring you?” She asked him, frowning as she noticed he was already half asleep again.

He nodded and sighed a little. “I know she’s getting worried that this may be some of the best he gets.” He sighed quietly, “ubbe just texted a bit ago to say he’s dropped her off. It’s gonna be an initial 90 days. Let’s hope it works.” He muttered.

Noah shook his head as he started to fall asleep "No....nothing in particular.." he mumbled before falling asleep completely.

Amma gave a small sigh and nodded "Yeah I'm hoping that he gets better. Any updates on finding the guy who did it?" She asked as she made the two of them drinks.

She sighed quietly and just sat with him until it was time for her to leave, leaving him a note and tucking him in a little before heading out to go home.

He sighed and shook his head. “Nothing that I want you to know about.” He told her. “Just to keep you safe love.” He promised, going to get dinner sorted for Erik. “Gods I hope she puts the effort into getting better.”

Max stood in her room packing her bags and giving a small sigh. She sober now, it hadn't been an easy road but she was feeling proud of herself and getting to feel more like herself. While she was still grieving for her husband she'd found a better outlet to help herself and process it all properly. She heard a knock at her door and gave a small smile seeing Bill open the door. They's met her first week there and had become quite close "Hey, came to see me off?" She asked quietly.

Noah sat at home groaning softly as he felt Carmen's hands massage his legs after a grueling physical therapy session. His rehab had still been a slow one, but he was definitely a lot better than he was when he first got home. He smiled down at her and blew her a kiss "You are my savior you know that? I'd be dead without you." He told her gently

She smiled and shook her head "Yeah yeah you little suck up." She teased him a little, "I was thinking maybe we could go out for dinner. Didn't realise he was gonna give you a leg day." She muttered, rolling her eyes. It had been a bit of a rocky start when he'd come home but they were finally getting there and even finding the time to enjoy being newly weds again. "I got some news for you so I wanted to take you out to celebrate." She told him smiling, setting his leg back down and moving to let Iskald jump up on the couch. "You want it now or when we go to dinner?" She asked him

Bill smirked a little as he leaned up against her doorframe, "Yeah... Something like that." He told her quietly, chewing on a toothpick. "Cause it's gonna be such a very long time before I can see you again." He chuckled quietly as they were releasing him in a day or two anyway. "You looking forward to seeing your kid?" He asked her, moving to go sit on her dresser once she was done emptying it, swinging his legs a little. Bill was the second youngest son in a large family on the same level as Ragnar's. In fact he knew Ragnar's family and had done some work with Bjorn from time to time when it was needed. He knew who her husband had been after many long talks and he'd been honest about who he was as well. He liked her a lot and for once he didn't want secrecy. He was tired of it

Noah raised an eyebrow and smirked "Oh? What is it?" He asked happily before kissing her cheek. He yawned petting behind Iskald's fur "He's getting old huh? But we still love you." He said with a chuckle when Iskald just gave him a bit of a confused look.

Max smiled a bit and nodded "Yeah I'm very excited to see him. On our last phone call he sounded so happy." She said before slipping her shoes on and grabbing her phone. She knew who he was, to the degree of she knew he had a very powerful family. However, she didn't know that they were mortal enemies.

Carmen smiled, not answering him but went to get something out of her office, bringing it back to set down in his lap. "I see this as a sign that the worst is over for us." She told him quietly, sitting perched on the edge of the couch next to him, watching his face carefully. "First baby of the only daughter? Oh they're going to be spoilt rotten." She mused while she watched him stare at the test she'd handed over.

He smiled some and nodded, "I'll call you once they set me free." He told her quietly. "I'll assume you'll be busy wIth your little one but maybe we can plan something for when he'll be back at school.... You still planning on leaving the area?" He asked her curiously as they'd discussed at length that she wanted out of that house and to start afresh with what Ivar had left her

Noah stared at the test in complete awe "Are....holy shit really?" He asked quietly letting a few tears fall as he looked over at her. He pulled her into a hug and kissed all over her face "We're having a baby?"

Max nodded and sighed softly "Yeah I'm going to talk with Hvitserk about helping put the house up for sale. I'm thinking a condo would be good for us, or a much smaller house." She said before goimg over and pressing a peck to his cheek "Yiu better call me mister, or I'll come get you." She teased

He smiled at her and nodded. “Oh I promise.” He told her happily, “scouts honour.” He winked and stood up when he heard footsteps heading down the hall. “I’ll call you once I get home. Enjoy your kid.” He told hee, stepping forward and brushing his thumb against her chin. He kissed her forehead and finally left her to it.

She nodded and manoeuvred so she was straddling his hips, slipping her arms around him tightly. “We’re having a baby.” She confirmed, kissing him back happily. “I love you.”

Max gave a small laugh and smiled softly at him "I'll talk to you in a few days." She murmured before getting her things and following the nurse to the front. She smiled widely when she saw Hvitserk standing out front and immediately went over to hug him "Its good to see you, thank you so much for coming."

Noah smiled widely and put his hands to her stomach "Have you set up appointments yet? Do I need to go get you some prenatals? Are we going to tell everyone now or later?" He asked just letting out all of his thoughts at once.
