Of Brick and Stone (open)

Noelle Damon's eyes scanned the scared faces of the me, women, and children who sat on the ground of District 2. Their hands were tied behind their backs and their feet bound. She stood with her arms linked behind her back and was looking down her nose at them while the officers went to person to person and recorded their information. It was eerily quiet, the only sound the escaped the lips of the captured was soft whimpers.

"What are you going to do with us?" a woman asked, her child beside her weeping.

Noelle gave the woman a smile. "What will I do with a bunch of rats trying to sneak into a district where they do not belong?" she asked. "Why I'm going to kill you."

The woman gasped.

An officer came up to Noelle. "That's the last one, everyone is registered," He said handing Noelle a tablet. "What about the ones who escaped?" he asked.

Noelle lifted her gaze in the direction where a few lucky soul managed not to get captured. "Who cares? We have most of them. Shoot each of them and then clean up the mess. Make it look like we were never here." She said.

That started an uproar.

"You can't do this!" A man from the crowd shouted.

"Oh, but I already have," Noelle spun on her heels and made her way back to her hovercar, her smile growing with every shot.

The voices hushed hushed at the sound of Aaly awake.

"It's noon honey, you slept most of the day. How do you feel?" a nurse asked. she ran a thermometer across the girls head to take her temperature.

"Fine" Aaly opened her eyes again as she tried to sit up. It was so uncomfortable, she disliked hospitals. She rubbed her temples softly "Am I free to go now?" She just asked it to be kinda polite though, she would leave even if they left her or not. If it was already noon it would be bad for her. The meeting.. She was late for the meeting. Well not late, she had actually missed it. She would have to go and find out which was her mission as soon as she could, until now never crossing her mind once what had happened the day before, nor the officers that had intruded into her District.

Crisis turned her head to the sound of footsteps. Halo walked into the living room, his hair still wet from the shower, and sat on the couch next to Crisis. After finally figuring out the way back to District 5, Halo and Crisis had to sneak their way passed the border checkpoint, which wasn't as easy as it sounder. Once across, and after ditching the bike and gun in a place they felt no one would find it, the two friends hiked the hour walk back to Halo's apartment. It was nearing eleven when they finally made it inside and fell asleep almost instantly. Now it was Sunday and they had to stay inside Halo's apartment, which was the safest place because of the whole three day pass thing and how they were suppose to be camping on the trail, wondering if all of yesterday was just a bad dream.

"What are you watching?" Halo asked turning the volume up on the TV.

"It's all over the feeds," Crisis said not moving her eyes from the screen. "The raid last night, it's all everyone is talking about. They say that they caught a bunch of citizens of District 2 trying to sneak into this district. They say that they were all processed and is now being healed in a District 5 prison awaiting trail."

There was a pause as both of them watched the reporter talk about the events of last night.

"So they just locked them all up," Halo said. "They most likely wont ever be allowed to leave. That's just messed up."

"Let's just be happy we weren't caught." Crisis said.

"Go?" the nurse asked. "Of course you can't go. You took a nasty fall off a building. You should be lucky that this was the only damage taken." The nurse pointed to her arm. "I would lay off of that arm if I were you sweetheart."

There was a knock on the door and Shotgun stepped in.

"I was told I could come see Aaly," he said.

The nurse nodded. "Of course." she then turned to Aaly. "You should be thanking shotgun here for finding you when he did. If not, who knows what would happened after your fall." The nurse smiled and turned to leave. "If you need anything, just call," she said before leaving.

Shotgun waited for the nurse to close the door behind her before to Aaly. "Wow, you look like crap," he grinned.

"Yeah well thanks for the compliment, after all you don't get the chance to fall off a building very often, right?" She was grateful about the excuse he had came up with though. She rubbed the back of her neck with her good hand and sighed, sliding her legs to the bed's edge. Her arm, far from hurting, just felt numb, maybe because of the meds.

"So, what happened with the meeting? Did they finally came up with something? I just now the basic details, well I happened to hear them while I was kinda sedated, don't know from whom though" Yeah, she had heard something about the fact that she, if her arm allowed her to (Which of course it would!), was going to sneak into the ball that would be held at District 1. There she was supposed to meet with someone that would give her some kind of microchip with the gathered updated information about all the other Districts, FlyBird and the Sky castle's digitized blueprints. She had also thought she had heard something about getting the information with the names of the rebels that still remained at District 6 and their transfer to District 2 to keep with the fight. There was also something about sneaking armament, resources and supplies out of District 1 during the ball, though that part of the mission had almost nothing to do with her, though it seemed the two missions would be executed at the same time.

She rested her chin on her thumb as she rubbed it softly, something she usually did when she needed to think. Why would they send her all the way to District 1 and even more to the ball only to get that information? Ah.. Maybe it was because after the treaty most of the Districts would be under surveillance, District 6 even more than the others. So there was a chance that even powerful people from District 6, who were allowed into the ball, still did not fully agree with the New Order, that would, therefore, explain why she had to infiltrate into the ball. Surely, all of them would be carefully watched over during their stay in District 1, any abnormal activity, like some strange people meeting with them would surely get them into trouble. The same explanation may be of use to explain other things like why someone from the District 6 who was willing to give them information was so important to them at that moment. Right from the moment they had gotten into the New Order they were certainly granted with certain important information that could be of use.

Also, Aaly thought, there was a chance that there were even infiltrated people at District 1 or even at other Districts, they weren't told much about that though because it was not only dangerous for the infiltrated people but also for them to know it, and so that would explain how they would be able to get complementary and vital information from them as well. Then assisting to that ball was undoubtedly crucial for them, the place where people, important people actually, from other Districts came together to celebrate in such an 'informal' way a union, it was an event where, if xiii had the correct contacts, she could sneak into. With the time Aaly had learnt how to think like a real Rebel, she only needed to talk with Trent and Tydus to get to know minor details, she had already kinda sort out the main ones from what she heard and come up with. She still wanted to know if she could get to know more things about the meeting from Shotgun though.

"Well, as you already know, we'll be heading off to District 1 tomorrow night for the ball. but I'm not sure what else you know so I'll just tell you everything I do. First things first though, there have been some slight changes because of the raid. Word of that spread quickly and now everyone's on edge. Tydus says that the blonde woman, the one in charge, her name is Noelle Damon. She's the daughter FlyBird president Avery Damon, she's also the COO of the company, so it makes no sense that she would be heading a district raid. FlyBird isn't suppose to get involved with government affairs, it's meant to be a voice for all the districts." Shotgun went over and sat on the bed beside Aaly. "That reminds me. Tydus knows that we were at the raid last night. He put two and two together when Trent said that he assigned you with the task of watching over the two outsider. When we showed up with you battered and them gone... well let's just say nothing gets past those two." Shotgun sort of laughed.

"But I digress. Tydus is playing it safe, no one know how they found out about the escape, but he believes that someone is leaking information to District 1. He cut the group going to the ball in half, and if you're still up for it, you're still apart of it. We will be dressed as servants for the ball, it shouldn't be noticed when we slip out to grab the information we need. A few have are already there and will give us the microchip. It's going to b a quick mission, we're in, then we're out. Don't draw any unnecessary attention to yourself. Any questions?"

Aaly scratched the back of her head, frowning. So this time she was gonna enter the place as a servant, huh? "Of course I'm in. Ah man, it was just so messed up. It worries me though.. Servants at District 1 are greatly checked on, usually only those who are pretty known get to even serve in the kitchen of the castle. Even two of us would be greatly difficult" She frowned and rubbed her chin again. Tydus had changed the plans and it worried her it would be for worse. She had to go and talk to him, she still knew how things worked at District 1 and she had to let them know. She was just gonna suggest to stick to the initial plan, if they refused she would just go along with the one they had came up with. She slipped off bed and stumbled a little before regaining her balance "Shotgun, would you help me to get to Tydus?"

Shotgun smiled at her. "Sure thing, just let me go sigh you out." Shotgun left the room and headed for the front desk of the hospital. He was in deep thought, Aaly didn't seem too happy with the plan, Shotgun on the other hand didn't see a problem with it. But then again, he also didn't see a problem with the escape plan, and that just went so well, didn't it. Shotgun stopped at the desk and smiled at the nurse there. "I'm checking out Aaly Denvert. The girl in room 103."The nurse smiled and held out a discharge form for him to sign. Once he did, he was back in Aaly's room. "All checked out," he said. "Ready to go?"

(By the by, I really wanna kill off either Trent or Tydus. Do you mind, and if not which one?)

Aaly, who had been sitting at the bed and waiting for him, nodded when he came back and hopped off the bed. Her arm was tied to her chest by a cloth or something like that, but thanks God that at least medicine there could be as advanced as the one of District 1 and she could already feel it healing "Ready"

She walked past him and stepped out to the hallway "So we are at the hospital wing, right?" She said more to herself than actually asking it to any other person "Is Tydus on the usual place?" Good thing was, that if that was the case he was nearer to the place they were at than if he was on any other place for now.

Ooc: Oh poor them >< Sure! Well Tydus, how I conceived him, was the calm and the most.. 'humane' one to call it that way. Trent was like the most radical and ruthless one of the two. I would say that if you kill Tydus maybe Trent will get a little more violent and would try by any means to make The New Order fall? Even more now that Tydus isn't there to talk him back into reason. I don't know xD Which one would you like to kill?

(Oo that's good, Tydus it is muhahahaha > :D )

"Yup," Shotgun said. "Oh and here." he handed her a bottle of pain killers. "It's a pretty high dosage, so I wouldn't take them unless I really had to." Shotgun walked beside Aaly as the went to the 'usual place' before going in, he stopped and looked at Aaly. "Umm, just some advice, Trent is on edge... well even more than usual. Try to stay on his good side."

Aaly made a face after taking the bottle and thanking him "Trent is in there?" She was kinda expecting to talk to Tydus and Tydus alone. Trent was mad enough with her already, he was just so.. hot-tempered. She rubbed the back of her head nervously "God dammit I swear he's gonna shoot me in the head before even listening to me" She said and let out a sigh "Just make sure I'm given a proper funeral" She said in a resigned tone before walking in.

It was exactly as she had imagined it. In the spacious room that consisted of only a table, chairs and what seemed to be a big TV on the back, there was only Tydus and Trent. They were seemingly discussing either the past events of the raid or the infiltration to the ball or even the two of them. When she opened the door and stepped in, however, they both fell silent. Tydus just looked at her with his usual calm and almost fatherly like expression. Trent, nevertheless... Well he just turned red and as soon as he opened his mouth to shout Aaly couldn't do anything more but let a sigh and wait for the worst.

"You took them to the escaping plan!? Seriously!? I told you to keep an eye on them not to go and let them escape at the first chance you'd got! What would you think it had happened if they caught you or Shotgun!? Do you think you can just go and not only waste your life but also the life of the best shooter we've got over here!? And for what!? For two spoiled kids from District 5!? Given the case you should've killed them!! But you just had to let them escape like that! We were supposed to see them first! Get some things done! Are you just plain stupid, Aaliya!?" Trents voice resonated in her ears as she fought her impulse to cover them, that would just make it worse.

"Trent" Tydus placed a hand on his shoulder which Trent angrily shook off

"Just get her out of my sight... I swear that if you were not important to this mission.. I would just..." He glared at her with pure fury "Get out!"

Aaly fought her impulses once again and tried to talk back with the most calm and composed voice and face she could ever do. She was trying to be persuasive there "I offer you my deepest apologies, Trent. And as soon as this mission is over I swear I'll await for my punishment. However, I have something to say and so I cannot leave this room until you two had hear me" She tried to sound docile, which was quite difficult for her. Thankfully, it at least stopped Trent from yelling at her again and it got Tydus' attention.

"Very well then, speak Aaliya"

Aaly nodded, encouraged at least by that "Shotgun has told me about the mission and I've realized you've made a change of plans and I'm aware of the fact that it mostly is because of the fact that it seems someone is leaking out information to District 1. Nevertheless, I do not agree completely with you new method of infiltrating. It's dangerous and it would be easier for us to get caught that way. If there is something District's 1 royal family is really picky and nag a lot about is about their servants, they check on them almost all the time and getting to be a servant at their castle is almost impossible unless you're well known and greatly recommended to them. Even if it is only two of us it would be seemingly impossible. I suggest, therefore, that we stick to our initial plan, the one we'd planned out at the very beginning when the information about the ball was still not concrete and just a mere rumor. At least that way, even getting one of us as a servant would be at least a possible thing when that person has been 'sponsored' by someone invited to the ball"

Aaly looked at both of them for a moment before falling silent, waiting for their approval to continue. Trent seemed reluctant but he was considering it though. Tydus seemed to agree with her more, he acknowledge her knowledge on that subject and took into consideration her ideas. Trent and Tydus exchanged a look and Tydus sighed as he stood straight.

"Okay Aaliya, we will stick to the initial plan as you suggest. However, this time, as it seems we are not so safe to begin with, you'll have to go with this" Tydus took a little green pill from his pocket and gave it to her "Never once hesitate if it seems it's the only way"

Aaly stared at the green pill before suppressing a snort "The 'suicidal pill', huh?" So they were telling her that if she was to get captured they wouldn't move even a finger to rescue her. She looked at it for a moment before nodding "Very well, I accept this conditions" Her gaze was serene as in her eyes determination was obvious.

Trent nodded, his expression ruthless as always "Get started with the preparations then. Tomorrow you'll go to District 1 as one of the noble people that will assist to the ball and you will sneak Shotgun in with your 'sponsorship'. Remember Aaliya, never lose sight of the pill. You will be given the information tomorrow morning when you arrive to District 1. You'll have all day before attending to the ball. Relena is waiting for you at the lab, both of you are now dismissed"

Ooc: Oh God! xD When are you planning to kill him?

Shotgun listened carefully to everything that was being. The original plan was back on, and everything seemed to be according to plan. It was good that Trent didn't freak out too much about the raid and the fact that the two outsiders left without his knowledge. It was even better that Aaly held her tongue even though he knew she really wanted to defend herself. Shotgun was a bit taken aback when Tydus gave Aaly the green pill, though he did not show it on his face. He swore that he would not let her take it. When he was dismissed, Shotgun nodded once then turned and left the room.

(I don't want to give away too much, but here's what I was thinking. A small group of rebels (Trent, Tydus, Shotgun, Aaly, and a few others) would sneak into the ball. Throughout the night they will find out a few clues as to what is really going on, and the real reason why District 6 joined the New Order. As they were getting the information, something really big will happen at the ball. In the chaos Tydus (ans a few other rebels) will be captured a few days later, publicly executed.)

Aaly closed the door behind her back before letting out a sigh "I can't believe I didn't say anything.. It just gets me so.. frustrated" She blew her face out of her face again with an angry look on her face. She stuffed her hands on her pockets before walking away from the door "By the way Shotgun are you gonna get some changes as well with Relena to go to the ball?" She asked curiously as she headed to the lab. At least she knew that they would have to do something about her right eye, it was way too suspicious if it was to be left alone.

Ooc: Woah.. This is getting interesting! *^* Our first rebel strike!! xD

Shotgun grinned at her comment. "Yeah me too, with that hard head of yours." When asked if he was getting any changes done, Shotgun nodded. "Like I said, Trent doesn't want to take any chances, everyone's getting something done before they go. That includes a PIC with a fake identity on it."

Aaly scratched the back of her head "Yeah you're right" She turned to the left as she they reached the end of the hallway and stopped in front of an automatic sliding door. She took off her necklace and pushed it into the wall, once again a screen appeared in front of her and she described the special pattern. When the door slid to the side she pulled out the necklace and put it on again before walking in.

The lab.. Well it was like any other lab actually. Some high tech here and there and a few holograms could be seen being appreciated by coated men and women that seemed to be analyzing them. Aaly walked directly to the one woman she was looking for though. The woman was slender and tall, her red wavy hair fell to her waist and her blue eyes glimmered with ingenuity behind her red glasses as she seemed to be taking notes on an hologram that showed the human's body anatomy. She did, however, stopped what she was doing when she saw the two teens approaching her and gave them a good-natured smile, which matched her usual good mood.

"I was expecting to see both of you. I knew you wouldn't be stopped by that broken arm, Aaly and thanks God you didn't, you would've taken away from me the chance to test my invention out" By her tone one would think she was reproaching her, even scolding her, but her eyes showed the opposite.

"Me? Stopped by that? Hell no, I would't ever dare lose the chance to be your Guinea Pig, Relena" Aaly smiled amused as she crossed her arms above her chest.

"Good, good, you're here just in time. Shotgun you can go over there to Derrick to get your PIC on. You get to choose any identity you want from the ones we've made up for being the first one here" She blinked one eye at him cheerfully.

"And me? Don't I get to choose my brand new identity too, Relena? I won't allow any favoritisms here because you're crushing on Shotgun" Aaly joked. Relena had always been a good friend of hers and so as she was given the chance to meet with her she had suddenly forgotten her argument with Trent and was now in a good mood.

"Oh, dear. Keep saying those things and I'll make you go to the ball as a toad" Relena said before turning around and pushing a button from under her desk.

From within the desk a small glass box rose with a sphere like figure being contained inside it. Aaly leaned a bit forward, raising and eyebrow and blinked when she realized what it was.

"You made.. an eye" She said sounding rather unsure. Well it was just an eye, she didn't understand what kind of new invention that was for Relena to get so happy over it. Those kind of things were not new to her.

Shotgun smiled, shaking his head as he made his way over to Derrick.

"Ready for a new identity?" the man with a shaved head and dark eyes asked. He pointed to a chair and Shotgun sat.

"Sure, why not," Shotgun shrugged.

Derrick turned his back to the gun master and started to gather his instrument. "You sound like you'd rather be somewhere else."

"Well I about to get something slipped into my eye while I'm still awake. There's a lot of places I'd rather be."

"Don't worry so much, this wont hurt a bit."

"Really? You sure about tha--" Shotgun stopped suddenly when Derrick turned around with a needle about as long as a pencil. "Wont feel a thing my a**! What the hell is that thing?"

Derrick grinned. "This is the think that goes in your eye to numb out the pain of the PIC."

"And what's going to numb the pain of that thing?"

Derrick shook his head. "You really need to learn more about the human anatomy. You wont feel a thing." Derrick pushed on the bar on the bottom of Shotgun's chair and he was lifted closer to the doctor.

"Now you're sure that I wont feel a thing?" Shotgun asked, his eyes getting wider as the needle got closer.

"What, you don't trust me?" Was ass Derrick asked before he slid the needle directly into Shotgun's pupil. Shotgun cringed but then realized that he did in fact, feel nothing. Derrick ejected whatever was in the needle into Shotgun and he began to feel numb.

"Okay," he said taking the needle back out. "Let's begin."

Relena made a disappointed face, as if Aaly didn't understand the magnitude of her invention.

"What?" Aaly frowned and unfolded her arms. It was just an eye!

"It's not just a simple eye, Aaly. It's your eye"

Aaly blinked "My eye?" She glanced at it again but she couldn't really imagine it "Forgive my ignorance but as far as I can remember my eye was blue, that one is red" She raised her eyebrow at her

Relena's smile bloomed again on her face "That's because it's not completely your eye. When you took it out five years ago, which you know I think was quite barbarian by the way, you didn't damaged it all. What we have here is some type of bionic eye to which your previous one had been 'adapted' and so it contains your actual past information and miraculously your old PIC intact"

Aaly narrowed her eyes as she looked at the sphere on the glass box "So.. Are you telling me.. You kept my right eye all these years? Relena.. Sometimes you scare me" She shivered a little at the thought of her eye being kept when she had disposed of it before.

Relena rolled her eyes "Oh, shush. I couldn't just throw it away, could I? Anyway, here's the drill, this new eye has got the basic information and structure from your old one, so it is likely to be compatible with your organism. In fact, we used your eye's PIC to create the basic dot codes for the others, which helped us a lot as it contained the basic dot codes from District 1. But well here's the point, this eye has all your past information that was recorded on the PIC you got implanted when you turned 13 and some additional information for the past 5 years it was inactive. Your eye and this new eye are just perfect!" She said excited.

"You sound just like those mad scientists of the movies, you know?" Aaly was now impressed.. Well impressed and kinda freaked out about the whole thing concerning her eye.

She was snapped out of her thoughts when she heard Shotgun's complaining though and couldn't help it but laugh "What Shotgun? Are you a coward?" She asked with an amused smile as she saw his reaction when he was presented with the needle that had been slid on his pupil.

"You try getting a big a** needle put into you're eyeball and then come see me," Shotgun shot back, but was quickly shushed by Derrick as he picked up the small contact-like lens from his tray of tools.

"You need to stay still. What I'm going to do is clamp open the lid of your right eye, and take it out. I'll slip the PIC it and shock your eye so that the PIC will activate. I'm not going to cut any of the nerves in your eye so you should still be able to see out of both of them. It is important to tell me if your vision changes in any way, shape, or for,. Do you understand?"

Shotgun grinned. "You make it sound so easy doc."

Derrick grinned right back. "That's my job."

"Well at least you're getting that into the eyeball. I'm gonna get an eyeball into my skull.. And.. Hey how are we even gonna do that?" She turned back to Relena, tilting her head.

"Ah that one part of the process it's not my job" Relena leaned her hips against her desk as she carefully took the glass box between her fingers

"And so whose is it?" Aaly frowned " 'Cause if you expect me to just let any stranger get something like that into my face you've got to be dreaming"

Relena just laughed "Relax. It's not just a random stranger and besides it's a pretty easy procedure as well.. All thanks to the fact that this baby used to belong to you a while ago" Relena looked at the box tenderly, as if it was a mother looking at her own child.

Aaly sighed "Yeah right. Can you stop being all lovey-dovey with my eye over there and tell me who's gonna do it?"

Relena pointed at Derrick with her jaw "Derrick over there will do it as soon as he's done with Shotgun"

"You're what?" Shotgun asked about to turn his head to look over in Aaly's direction, but was quickly stopped by Derrick reaching out and grabbing his chin.

"You you want to rip you're eye out?" he asked slightly annoyed. "I said stay still."

Derrick had already clamped open Shotgun's eyelid and not he held in his hand Shotgun's right eye.

"Sorry," Shotgun muttered.

"Yeah, yeah. Just try not to move."

Aaly grinned and used both of her hands to hop on top of Relena's desk, beside her. "Didn't you heard? Derrick over there is gonna implant my right eye back. To which Relena has developed quite the creepy and twisted crush on" That last bit she had say it with a fake creeped out tone. She waved both of her legs back at forth as she waited patiently for it to be her turn. Not that she was in a hurry anyway.

"Is that right?" Shotgun asked. "They I guess I finally get to see what you look like with both eyes."

The procedures to fix Shotgun with his PIC too roughly around forty-five minuets give or take. Once Derrick was finished he smiled and said, "This might just be my quickest time yet." To which Shotgun responded, "Yeah, well you better have done it right."

Shotgun got out of the chair and felt like someone had just punched him in the eye.

"There is swelling, but that normal. It'll go down in a day or so." Derrick informed him. "You will feel some pressure in your right eye and headaches are also normal."

"All of which I feel," Shotgun said feeling slightly dizzy. He made his way over to a mirror and laughed at what reflected back at him. His right eye was blue and purple and swollen shut. It was quite a site to behold.

Aaly had been chatting with Relena for the past 45 minutes, just catching up actually. When Derrick was done with Shotgun both of them fell silent and looked at him for a moment, finally laughing at the sight.

"You look wonderful, it suits you" Aaly said as she laid her chin on the palm of her hand with a smile on her face.

"Well it's your turn, Aaly" Relena walked to Derrick and handed him the box carefully "Just as I promised, the procedure its all yours"

Aaly raised her eyebrow as she hopped off the desk and walked to them "Seriously. You've got to stop talking as if I'm the Guinea Pig guys"

"ha, ha, very funny,"Shotgun said lightly touching his eye.

"Reconnecting an eye to the person who it once belonged to,"Derrick said. "Now this is something I can earn some bragging rights for." He replaced all of the instrument on his tray with new, sanitary ones. He also replaced his latex gloves with new ones."Obviously this is my first time doing thin, so I apologize in advance if something goes wrong," Derrick laughed at what he had just said. "Who am I kidding? It's me, nothings going to go wrong. Here's how it's going to work, I'm going to reattach the old nerves in this eye back to the nerves in your socket. Then I'll send an electroshock through it. After that, your eye goes back in your head."

Relena rolled her eyes with an amused smile on her face "Very well then, you still owe me that research then" She said on a good mood. She had been wanting Derrick to let her get her hand on that research and finally it was until now that she had found something to 'trade' it with.

Aaly shivered a little "Really? An exchange to get my eye back on? Guys, you're just creepy" She looked at both of them before letting out a resigned sigh "And will my.. eye be as swelled as Shotgun's?" She tilted her head.

Derrick chuckled. "Let's not get ahead of ourselves now." In response to her question, Derrick said her eye would swell like Shotgun's and she would have a headache to go with it.

Aaly's procedure took longer then Shotgun's, about a hour and a half. Like Shotgun she was numbed out and her eye clamped open. She could see everything that was going on but felt nothing. Derrick did as he told Aaly he would and before he popped her eye back in he muttered, "My best work yet."
