Hi hi! I have been meaning to answer this but life got soooooo busy with the holidays! I am part of several fandoms and tend to be a pretty big fangirl for stuff. The main fandom that has my attention right now is Law and Order SVU (my greatest obsession) and I am a HUGE fan of Mariaka Hargitay who plays Captain Olivia Benson on the show. I can literally gush over her for days because of all the amazing work she has done for people as part of her personal mission to help survivors heal. I am also a huge fan of the Fourth Wing series and am so excited for Onyx Storm coming out! I love DnD and Baulders Gate 3! I actually am a dungeon master for my own DnD game that has been going for 3 almost 4 years now. It is home brew and I have the best time creating the world, monsters, enemies, and allies for my players. I also love horror movies and good old fashioned slashers, this love has spilled over into video games which I tend to play a ton of horror video games with friends when I have time. I am also part of the constantly dying Overwatch fandom. The game is so bad but I still love flying around as Mercy and giving the enemy team the middle finger as a rez someone right in front of them. As far as other tv shows go I love Stargate SG-1, Terra Nova, X-Files, Once Upon a Time, and Outpost. I adore anime’s such as Fairy Tail, Akame Ga Kill, and RWBY. I also love Hunger Games and Percy Jackson as well as X-Men and most superhero things! I am always looking for more things to get into and love to rp things that I might not know the most about but can learn! Now I shall return to sitting in my beanbag chair fawning over my beloved Olivia Benson hehe!

i also haven't watched that genre of show in a looonnngggg time, though i have to admit i used to be obsessed with castle when it was still on television(i love nathan fillion, he's always playing icons imo from captain reynolds to green lantern to hermes to cayde-6).
i tried reading the fourth wing for a book club and it just wasn't for me ;-; i think i'm learning that maybe fantasy isn't for me and i'm starting to pivot my reading interests. which is so weird, since i really used to like fantasy and still like the idea of fantasy, but i think i might be better off trying something new at least for the time being. so, rn i'm reading 2001: a space odyssey, and otherwise have been reading the classics like to kill a mocking bird and pride and prejudice. i did really love the hunger games and percy jackson, though!! some of my all-time fav series. but if anyone has any recommendations across any genre, i'm all ears! i would like to read more, i let bed rotting take up too much of my time lmao.don't mind me writing down these show names to add to my list 
mey - her resolution would probably be to find love. i think she'd way too easily prioritize finding a partner, when maybe there are better things for her to work on...
piper - his resolution is going to be to make some friends and trust himself more! he'd like to be more confident in himself, even though it's difficult. though, solving a murder mystery is up there on his goals for the year lmao.
chitrita - torture boys, get what she wants, win... but also (secretly) to maybe not be a hot mess, learn to let go of the need to control, and make a true friend. one that she didn't bully, force, or coerce to be there. someone who can be trusted!
bellamy - total world domination. but maybe that's more apt for his 5 year plan. let's start with europe and the tournament.
OKOK GROUP PLOT IDEA -- so if it's wednesday in the rp rn(based on auguste's posts) and the first challenge is on a thursday what IF friday or saturday there's like a party? like a dorm party, with music and alcohol, way less formal than the opening ceremony. maybe one of the ilvermorny houses are throwing one and invites the tournament students? or one of the tournament students throws one like in the astronomy tower/somewhere somewhat out of earshot from the professors, and everyone can get a little rowdy(perhaps more disaster can strike, but atm idk what)? perhaps detentions get handed out at some point?
i am also suggesting this with no idea of what we already have planned post-first challenge and if i have been told i do not remember it
must have sims mods for me are mccc and ui cheats, and the rest i do okay without lmao. if you want to get into dc i totally recommend their animated series!! young justice, teen titans, green lantern: the animated series, and justice league united are all so fun! i think it's a good reset from time to time, bringing back some of the elements of the superhero genre that has kind of been left behind with the recent trajectory of the mcu. the harley quinn series is also really popular, though i haven't watched it yet, it's targeted more towards adults instead of kids/teens. BUT ik both harley quinn and young justice do feature lgbtq storylines if that's something that interests you c:I wasn't expecting such an in depth reply but thank you this really made me smileI started watching Buffy 14 years ago with an ex but they were her DVDs and I think we broke up around season 3 so I never got to finish it haha
I highly recommend TVD, it's very compelling (pun intended) and makes me feel a lot of emotions
thank you for making me feel validated about not finishing things! I'll often watch shows all the way up to the last episode and then just don't get round to watching the last episode before I want to move onto another show
it's so silly lol. I never finish books either I think the last book I finished was 2 years ago
I have never heard of Our Town!! I will definitely check it out! My favourite musicals are Falsettos, Waitress, Dogfight, Company, Merrily We Roll Along, West Side Story, The King & I, Hello Dolly, Singing in the Rain, The Little Mermaid and A Strange Loop...quite a fewI just love them. I've only seen two of those live but I'm keeping my eyes open for the rest! Dogfight and Falsettos are very American so I'm unlikely to find those in the West End but I'm going to move to the states in a few years so maybe then
I never really got into DC for some reason!! I love Batman, but I've never really delved into the rest. It's something I should explore for sure, especially now that MCU is getting so complicated. I just watched Deadpool & Wolverine and didn't enjoy it so I think it's time for a switch. Semi looking forward to Thunderbolts but I'm sour about the way they treat Bucky so my hopes are low. I don't trust the writers anymore!
I'm the same way with movies, I don't have the patience to watch them unless I'm watching with somebody else - and my partner has pretty different tastes to me I'm discovering, so I don't watch many horrors these days. I'm very picky about horror bc I think a lot of writers can be extremely lazy with overusing tropes and jump scares and torture porn, but occasionally you'll find a gem and it just itches the scratch for me!! And YES Bridgerton !! I loved it way more than I thought I would. Season 1 I enjoyed but season 2 was AMAZING and made season 1 look trash. I never watched season 3 but I watched Queen Charlotte, which I recommend if you haven't seen it! It's very emotional.
Yesss I've been going back to the 00s hits lately, especially since starting vampire diaries bc that show started in 2009 so there's a lot of 00s music in it. And yes Chappell Roan really does it for me! And a lot of gay pop, King Princess and Todrick Hall and The Aces etc, there are some really great LGBTQ artists making absolute bangers.
I removed my CC folder from Sims so I've been playing without it for a while but I think I want to bring some things back in. If you have any particular cc or mods that you love lmk and I can share mine too!!

I don't know if others have plans for after the first challenge but I know that Stellan would love a party, and even if Auguste doesn't want to go I'm going to force him! Boy needs to stop fretting and loosen up. And it'd be really nice to mingle with all your characters! Drinking, dancing, flirting, dares, sneaking about, I love it!!

I've fully spooked myself after discovering what must be objectively the most terrifying and most haunting album ever created, it's past 4am and I don't even feel at ease in my own bedroom lol. Can't tell you how relieved I am to see you guys discussing something so light-hearted. There's like a concept loitering outside my door and I can't get up to pee bc then I'll have to face the Concept. About to throw myself into this instead of going to sleep so that I can stop thinking of the terror and hopefully avoid having nightmares!!

Hard to think of new years resolutions rn with it being so late at night but it's an interesting question. Making me realise that I haven't actually thought about my characters' current shortcomings that they're aware of, things that are fixable and within their control.
I feel like Auguste is very stuck in that what he wants most is to be able to open up and let his friends in, specifically Naomi, but he can't just start telling people the truth. Maybe his new years resolution would be to focus outwardly more so than inwardly. He's constantly wrapped up in his own problems, but he might actually be more relaxed and happier if he focused more on helping people. Being more present, more open, a better listener, and put his effort into making other people's lives better instead of wallowing in a pit of despair about his own life.
Maybe this is a cop out but I genuinely don't think Stellan is all that interested in self improvement haha so I don't think they'd bother setting themselves a NYR. Keep being unapologetic, keep standing up for themselves, keep creating fun memories and playing pranks. They're happy with their life and about who they are - sure, they could try to eat fewer sweets, but do they want to?
Deianira already practices healthy habits - she's practiced daily self-care rituals for most of her life and is generally pretty confident that she has a healthy lifestyle. One thing she hasn't made any progress on however is finding love. She's been single for twenty years now and while romantic relationships aren't her main motivation in life, she sometimes finds herself imagining what her life would be like with someone by her side. So maybe her resolution would be to focus her daily affirmations on reminding herself that she deserves love. That, and maybe throwing out the high-risk, low-reward, meaningless sex.

I can't plan much for now bc I need to wait and see how Auguste is doing after he makes it through the first challenge - he might feel relieved and elated and actually in the mood to party, in which case he'll need no encouragement, but alternatively he might be exhausted and overwhelmed and the idea of a party sounds like hell to him. So we'll see! I would love to have him interact with your characters either way. If he sees Vasu all down and out about coming last he may feel inclined to cheer him up somehow anyway. I can't wait to see how the first challenge goes down!

I'm actually pretty proud of my Vasu, I think he's very handsome (and I made sure he has that big booty that can knock things over!)
