i like the ideas you pitched too! the flag one reminds me of pjo where they play capture the flag and percy gets ganged up on by clarisse haha. and im glad someone was able to think of something with the forbidden forest because i was drawing a blank on anything but i wanted to find something for it so badly

If Raphael got the wildfire disaster I think it will be the one challenge he does great at out of everyones ideas. I think he looked up to firefighters as a kid and idolized them so much that it became his special interest growing up. He might forget he can use magic in his challenge and go off the random obscure knowledge he has. The other disasters he might get lucky enough to pass with

I see Raphael taking his challenge more seriously if he has to rescue Cosmo or Kiara. If they don't know that the students will be kept safe no matter what during the competition I mean. I really think Raph got himself into this mess not knowing really what the tournaments are. He heard it was a big competition and was all "say less I HAVE to be there" xD

There are so many good duos for the dance. I see Zuri and Ricky will be together at some point. I think he will be intimidated by her if she's like she is on the train right now. Just staring quietly without saying a lot. He might try to fill the quiet with jokes and mess up his dancing entirely. He has dances with Ramona and Gavy and Kiara as well which I see going over more smoothly

Aviator do you mind if we switch Kiara and Clara's #5 slots on the dance cards so pearjuice doesn't have to interact with themselves?

Everyone is coming up with such awesome challenge ideas, keep it coming, y'all! Because I'm a nerd I was thinking maybe we could do a scavenger hunt with tarot cards? Like everyone is given a Major Arcana and then to win a student has to achieve like four cards in a row, and you get another person's tarot card either by defeating them in a duel and taking it or trading with them. Some cards will be subjectively more valuable than other cards; if you're going for cards 13-16, #14 will be a lot more valuable than #7, say. Or alternatively, everyone is issued a tarot card and one specific, random target, and you don't know what everyone else is holding at the start of the game. Once the target has been acquired (and it would most likely be taken by force; there's really no benefit of trading in this version), that person's target becomes your next one, and so on until a four-card streak of targets have been obtained. Which do you guys prefer? This challenge will be more fun with more people, so we'd include secondaries in this one for sure, and maybe even professors if y'all are down! There's 22 Major Arcana cards, so just enough for our purposes.

pearjuice I love your dream challenge idea! It reminds me of the fear simulations in Divergent, so maybe like you said each champion doesn't realize that they're dreaming and are issued a series of real-life, personal fears that they have to overcome? And whoever keeps calm and solves all the problems first wakes up with the stone and wins!

WanderLust. What if we up your ante and say that there's three capture the flag teams?! And the winning team has to capture both other team's flags! With three teams we could either wait until two teams have been eliminated so that it's evenly divided among six or we can really be chaos demons and do four different teams. Needless to say, once a team's flag has been taken, they're out of the game so that the challenge doesn't go on infinitely. What do you think?

Aviator I have very little experience with Tarot cards so I might need a crash course but that's honestly something I'd be happy to learn about!!

Also - for the capture the flag, the more teams the better!! I always find it way easier to plot with people in super chaotic situations lol always leads to some pretty fun scenes. I wasn't aware that teams were going to be getting eliminated, I thought it would just be a final score at the end as opposed to last man standing kinda deal lol so I will factor that in as I try to think of more challenge ideas

Also I added a pet bowtruckle for Kiara named Twiglet XD (and a picture of her favorite baby dragon Nemo)

Posted with Cha-Cha! It was mostly a filler post, but it did what it had to to get everyone arrived at Ilvermorny. Now the teams are gonna proceed up the mountain in carriages and hit the ballroom for the Opening Ceremony!

I'd love to. Zuri is difficult to get to know but she has a good heart. She's just tough and takes things seriously. Sasha is a lot easier to get to know but she's shy and not self assured like Zuri is
