that is true it is not a normal power but if you recall uncle iroh was shown to have this ability. Not saying that this person is up to Irohs level but canonly it is a thing. Also, not sure what's going on, not caught up yet

Woopsy will fix next chance I get, maybe do full rewrite.I think people missed Ila's post, there are no bombs falling on the village at the moment, there likely bits of fire but really no full bombs. So im not sure what

I just caught up, reading through all the posts so far, and well... I feel like a lot of people are going a bit overboard with the bending... like overpowering their characters a bit, creative criticism guys please just take it with a grain of salt. Like the village being partially burnt down would be great story building or the non-benders of the town blaming the benders for not doing enough and calling the firebenders down on them, could cause the bender to be chased them out of town. Idk sorry, just food for thought, I was thinking of how to introduce my characters before reading and thought having them move their boat with water bending was pushing it…

I have played my share of villains and the best are ones that you can play a game of tug-o-war with. I mean just think how boring Avatar would have been if the fire nation kept getting squished EVERYTIME the popped in, they would be not threat, it would be Formulaic; small villains show up, beat them up, force drama, inter boss fight beat boss everyone wins, yay. Boring 30min cartoon. I doubt avatar would have been sure a awesome centerpiece of animation if it followed that recipe.

I do like them. How ever with no Avatar at the moment I am worried she would take over the whole spirit world with no one else looking after it and also over taking other characters and their abilities. Does she have any weakness?Phew this took a long time. Warning: Hami / Zerlayn is the skeleton for a potential villain to work alongside the Firelord during the middle of the RP... As such it isn't a character I'm going to be RPing as the entire time... Just when the story presents the opportunity to have her... Her Uncle (Orien) however, I will be mostly RPing as... (I hope).

Bending Abilities: Is not a bender by any means.... However he is shown to be extremely intuitive and an impressive hand to hand fighter when it comes down to it. He used to be renowned in Ba Sing Se as their best Assassin, to the extent of taking down powerful benders by himself, and has mastered pressure points to the point he could disable most from bending before the fight even begun. He was respected by the Dai Li and they even feared confronting him due to his skills alone. After having being forced to kill someone innocent, he has been a recluse out of guilt and shame... Until Hami came into his life.
Bio: Orien wasn't exactly very active with most of his family, preferring to be alone for most of itg. He was a renowned assassin for the later part of his life, killing those who were deemed unfit to be in this world and has caused a grave sin in it. He ddin't mind the job at first as he was paid handsomely in response. That was until his hands was coated in an innocent's blood, making him go insane with guilt and never bringing up his swords again.
Then Hami came into his life at the tender age of 13. The two broken souls needed the other, so it was a win win situation, besides the fact otherwise Hami had no other place to go. Three years passed and nothing changed really... That was until everything else happened involving Hami, leaving him all alone. He wasn't about to leave a child behind, so he grabbed everything and equipped his swords without hesitation and left to pursue her. He was going to find her... Whatever it took... and find out what happened to her and fix it.
Personality: Orien is reclusive, secretive, yet courageous. Despite his hidden blood-lust he only instills it on those during combat or who most deserve it at the time. He has an aura of danger around him at all times and he can inflate it showing how serious he is most of the time. However, he isn't one to hurt those who don't deserve it, and is more than willing to lend a hand regardless of the dangers.
Weapons: Dual Swords, Multiple daggers. Whatever he can find, he can usually use as an effective weapon.

Family: She is sort of orphaned to the extent due to the weird things she did as a baby. She did live with her Uncle [who is not an Bender and relies on the strength of his own merit] and was traveling with him until a tragedy happened and now she is alone wandering the skirts of the Earth Kingdom.... Having no one but Zeralyn to comfort her and attempt to erase her from being.
Bending Abilities: As one of the original benders, Zeralyn has the ability to energybend at phenomenal levels, even puling the energy from the very environment around her to use as a constant source of strength and amping , something not even the lion turtles were capable of understanding how she was capable of doing it . Calling herself "The Grandmaster of Energybending" , her energybending skill & strength very likely nears the power of master benders of the elements, if not rivals them , as she seemed confident in taking on the Firelord of the current day and age, but how well she would do is Unknown . Zeralyn predates the origins of the Avatar and was personally trained by the lion turtles, so she is aware of the elements to an extent plus has the knowledge of them to effectively somewhat counter them in a fight . Due to everything around her, even the elements containing energy in it's pure concept, it is entirely possible she can manipulate the elements... But she hasn't tried and it is very likely she isn't capable of doing it. Zeralyn was shown being capable of using energybending both offensively and defensively , making her a deadly opponent for anyone caught in her path of destruction. She can actually drain the energy from weak willed entities in order to boost her own power, but this usually results in permanent damage or death of the one she absorbed... However she only does this to those who are considered exceedingly weak benders, so it's likely she won't be using this technique on very strong benders. She can also astral project, which explains how she ended up in Hami's body and how she managed to live until the current day and age.
Hami easily has all the qualifications of being capable of Energybending. She was considered one of the few capable of being born with the art, and actually has immense potential for it,t o the point she is actively resisting Zeralyn taking her energy to become the only vessel of her body, an ability unprecedented as this requires both the power and will to resist Zeralyn's advances simultaneously.
She can use Energybending to draw upon the power of the Spirit World for devastating effects, such as using a variant of astral projection to make a spirit cloak that blocks bending attacks or firing flowing beams of spirit energy that can be controlled by her "like a waterbender near water, or firebender near fire" . Due to the true nature of Energybending of giving and taking away bending powers it is possible she can perhaps tap into the other elements minimally, but this is unknown to her as she's a mere novice with the art. If a Lion Turtle would see what she is currently capable of doing with the art of Energybending, it would refer to her as a 'prodigious amateur' in the art of Energybending, in the sense she has massive potential for growth yet has so much to learn.
However, it was well note that she was a novice but the strength of her energybending would likely be amongst the strongest seen in the world, and rival some of the strongest benders of the elements to this day , but using it constantly drains her as she is using a combination of both Spirit World energy and her own lifeforce . She also has to deal with the massive clause of energybending, in which if she tries to overwhelm someone's spirit, if she doesn't have the stronger spirit she could theoretically perish.
Bio: Zeralyn was someone gifted in nearly every sense of the word. She had an intuitive connection to the spirit world and was born around the same time the lion turtles introduced themselves to at a time a non-bending world. As she grew up her desire to become a bender grew and grew, to the point she demanded the lion turtles to teach her as she became of teenager age . Seeing her utmost potential they all agreed to do so. Zeralyn trained to be the only practitioner of the art of energybending, a skill that she was not rivaled in by anyone else of her age. Eventually however, they saw the dark intentions of her heart , and knew she only wanted to be a bender to one day become the one to gain the power of all spirits and rule the Spirit World, but she had grown too powerful and it took the combination of all the spirits of the Spirit World to give her pause and completely atomize her body .
However, what they failed to realize was that Zeralyn's spirit was still around, too strong to effectively be destroyed by the otherwise weak spirits and benders of that time [ as Vaatu and Raaja weren't spirits at the time and or didn't participate in the battle , and the Avatars weren't around... otherwise she would've been destroyed ] . Over the course of centuries she saw many civilizations grow and break, all involving the use of bending in some form or fashion. Some vessels were more tempting than others, but eventually in the most recent age she found someone worth her time and saw the same potential she once had: in Hami. It was then that she decided to use her as a way of gaining revenge on the spirits who gave her pause.
Hami was always the strange one, acting as if talking to things that normal people wouldn't be capable of seeing. She also healed some person but accidentally gave them the potential to bend, which caused this unfortunate soul to lose control of it and literally burn himself due to the intensity of the fire bending she bestowed upon him. Due to this she was always seen as an outcast, and eventually was abandoned by her mother and father, and brought into the family of her Uncle. She displayed marvelous gifts of being capable of doing things that no bender has been seen capable of doing in her lifetime, and match the legend of the Lion Turtles and what they were capable of to a tee. Due to this, Hami's Uncle [Reimo] decided to go ahead and try to find this Lion Turtle to teach Hami her talent so that she could one day help people.
However, Zeralyn managed to take control of the child when they left Ba Singe Se, and nearly killed her Uncle. Luckily, the Uncle escaped, leaving her all alone. Zeralyn then continuously took her over to gain more and more power, until she could eventgually conquer the Spirit World and take back what was going to be hers.
Personality: Hami is shy, timid, soft-spoken. She is borderline mute in most social situations but tries to help out whenever possible, albeit she is unsure exactly when this will ever be the case. When energybending her personality changes and becomes far more confident, arrogant, and serious, almost feeling as if she is the judge, jury, and executioner of her adversary.
Zeralyn is powerhungry, sadistic, and has the dominant personality one expects in a leader. She is charismatic but otheriwse unforgiving, and is willing to do whatever it takes to gain her goals... regardless of how dark themed her steps are to acheiving it. However, she's more than willing to put up a mask of deceit to fool the masses that she is a peaceful , sweet female who only desires prosperity when ruin is her clearer objective.
Weapons: Hami doesn't have a weapon, however Reimo is shown as a competent wielder of the swords.
