Raiven nodded and took a seat, leaning against the wall near the radiator.  As she passed Adrian she gave him his candy, a sky blue stick of rock titled with his name and a puff of wind.

Reno sat down next to her, and relaxed a little. He felt his phone vibrate after a few seconds, he takes it out and read the message from Homura saying that they're meeting soon. He texts him that he'll be there soon and puts the phone away. To make it quick, he taps the girl's shoulder to get her attention. 'Sorry about that,' he signed. 'Raiven doesn't get that not everyone knows people on the first take. She can be a bit of a brat, but she does mean well once you get to know her. Anyway, my name is Reno, one of the Elites, like Raiven, what's your name?'

Arcus leaned over and kissed Raiven's lips leaving the taste of lemonade. "I am happy I told you i liked you. Oh and hey Adrian, hows your time back so far??" Arcus asked as he he then continued to eat his candy. He then started to make the sparks dance around their intertwined hands,.

Raiven shivered,  even though she was close to the radiator she was still cold. Pressing close to Arcus she leant against him,  blushing from the kiss.  


She wondered what her friends had done.  Bored, she created a electricity ball and bounced it up and down in her hand,  waiting for the others.

Reno signed back at her. 'Of course I can be your friend. As for where I learned, my mother taught me a long time ago, I wanted to be like my father, an advocate for human/elemental relations. Like him I believe humans and elementals can be friends, without one acting like they're better than the other.' He was glad that he's making human friends, he didn't believe money and looks can make friends, even though he has both. He got up from his spot after a few minutes to meet up with his other friends, but not before signing that he'll see her around. He walks to room 102 and knocks on it. "Hey," he shouted. "Anybody home?"

Raiven called back to Reno, confirming that they were in there. She had found a lollipop in her cardigan pocket and was happily sucking away.  She'd call her parents later, let them know she hadn't fried anything or anyone. 


She twirled the electric ball on her finger, letting the sparks fly off.

Luka woke up and navigated her way from the dorm room to the common area where she sat on the sofa, noticing Hazel briefly but not choosing to interact just in case she was like Raiven. 


She started to sign a song she'd been taught by her mother

While walking down the hallways, Karoline held a basket full of sweets that she has made such as chocolate fudge brownies, assorted donuts and hot chocolate with marshmallows in it as she held her own sundae decorated with fruits and syrup. Passing by the common area, she saw a couple of human sitting by, making her grin and walk towards them. "Hey." She said and smiled before sitting on a bean bag at the opposite as she placed down the basket on the table infront of them. Karoline would then eat her own sundae as she waits for their response.

"I'll be back guys," Reno shouts back. "I gotta get my tux on." He walks back to his dorm, but stops when he thought about Luka. "Hey," he shouts again. "Have any of you seen Luka?" He was a bit concerned with her, knowing that with her being a bit clumsy, He can put his tux on later, right now he needs to know if Luka's out of harm's way.

Luka looked at the treats, then at Karoline before asking if she could have some through sign language,  first by pointing towards the food and drink and then at herself. 


Luka loved brownies. It was no secret in her family.

Karoline looked over to her and nodded as she grinned, noticing that she was deaf she would reply back in sign language as thought by her mother.

Making a gesture as if saying that she could take whatever she wanted from the basket. Karoline would the take another spoonful of ice cream and lean back.

Taking a hot chocolate and a couple of brownies Luka snuggled into the sofa, taking occasional sips from her drink and digging into the brownies. She smiled,  showing her appreciation for the treats 


Placing it on the side she turned around to Hazel and signed an introduction. 


"Im Luka, I'm deaf so I have to use sign to communicate.  Do you want any treats"

Hazel just smiled as she was happy' me i'm hazel i was born deaf' she signed back to luka as she smiled' nice to meet you' she signed' i don't like my roommate she made me cry today' she signed as she was pouting as she looked back at the tv watching the subtitles she didn't understand what some people talk about she was nervous about making new freinds she was shy she looked at the sweets as she liked white hot chocolate she got some brownies as she smiled' i glad there another deaf person i can communicate with its a little bit loney without i hate bullies they are meanies' she signed as she eat her browney @Eternal Dragonchild

Arcus took the ball from Ravien's hand and and put it around the ball of iron in his hand. "Hey Raiven watch this, I learned a way to manipulate metal." Arcus heated the ball with the lightning, and magnetized it. He formed it into two rings. He super heated the lightning until it was a gold color, then cooled the lightning until there was a blue swirl around it. He then did the same to the ring but it was gold and silver. "Here the blue and gold one is yours." Arcus said as he blushed a little from showing his trick.

Luka nodded "Who is she? One of my dorm mates knows Sign Language too" She sipped at her hot chocolate "At least we can insult others and they won't know"


Luka had one small advantage over Hazel due to the fact that she could lip read. Maybe, they could work together. Luka nodded to herself before asking "Do you want to work together in class and stuff"

Raiven looked on impressed "Wow, that's really neat Arcus, looks like all the hours in physics really paid off" She took the ring out of his hand and gently slid it onto her finger, it was a perfect fit. She held the hand close to her heart and smiled. Arcus had made it specially for her, using her electricity. Hopefully Kat, Reno, Clair and Homura would get here soon so she could show them the ring and give them her gifts. Luckily Adrian hadn't noticed them flirting.

Hazel just looked at him as she was trying to think of her name' uh i think raiven' she signed to her as she just smiled what she said she just laughed a little she just nodded' sure i love to can you speak i only know how to lip read i was taught oral education but didn't work for me so i went back to hearing schools i was bullied a lot so this is the third school i been too' she signed as she just looked at her she jsut was looking around' can i ask were you born deaf or was it something else' she signed as she drink her hot cholotate as she smiled she get hyperactive easily she just thought it was the best hot chocolate she ever tasted she was enjoying her new friends @Eternal Dragonchild

"Born and bred Deaf, my parents never taught me how to speak but they spoke as they signed. I used to be able to hear a little out of my right ear but it's gotten worse as I got older. I picked up lip reading from that as I could hear words very quietly. Now, i can't hear anything." Luka took a pause in her signing to take a drink "I was home educated so this is my first time in a school."


Brushing her hair behind her ear Luka continued "I want to prove to these Elementals that, even though, I cannot hear I can do stuff for myself"


Luka had a moustache of hot chocolate when she put down her cup.

Hazel just looked at her as she said that" at least you have both of your parents well my dad..... my dad left me because i was deaf he in the miltary i hate him for leaving me and mom' she signed as she just sighed she giggled a bit at luka moustache' yeah we can do anything we want yeah we can't hear we can what they can i already made a friend with the elements but he is a elite he's nice you will like him' she signed to her as she had the biggest smile on her face' do ya wanna go to my dorm we don't have to if you don't want to and we can bring her with us' she signed as she smiled she was orginally from japen so she know Japanesse sign langauge and american sigh langauge she just sighed' took me forever to learn american sign language though i'm orgianlly from japen' she signed to her @Eternal Dragonchild

"Is he really tall and act like a marshmallow?" Luka asked, wiping her mouth "He helped me when I hit my head on the table near us" Luka thought carefully, moving around had risks, especially when she was tired "Ok then, we should be careful not to disturb her stuff" The her that Luka referred to was Raiven. She smiled and picked up her stuff before inviting Karoline along with her.

Figuring that the others don't know where Luka went, Reno went back to his dorm to put his tux on. It was a average black tux with a silver necktie, garnet cuff-links, and to top it off, a few interesting designs on it, the kind that you'd normally see on India's clothing line. The only thing that remained the same are his pants and shoes, which he personally ironed before he left for school. He puts on his signature sunglasses and walks out of the room, only to see Hazel, Luka, and some other girl enter the room. 'Nice to see Luka and Hazel made some friends.' he thought. 'I think I should check on them to see if everything's okay.' He walks over to Luka's dorm and knocks on it. "Luka," he shouts. "It's me, Reno, are you okay in there?"

"I've heard music before, well heard isn't the right word. I've felt it before" Luka sat next to Hazel on her bed "My mother once put my hand on a speaker, I could feel it through my bones" Smiling at that memory Luka continued "I could try and get a speaker for us, so we could both feel it" Waiting for Hazel's response she started to glance around the room, looking at all the belongings they had " Your room is really nice" She smiled softly "I wish we could be in a room, all three of us. One girl in my room keeps on giving me terrifying glares"

'I'm glad you made some friends Hazel,' he signed. He looked towards Luka and sees that she's having fun as well. "So Luka," said Reno. "I noticed that you've made some new friends, that's good." Looking around he noticed that there's another girl with them. He was a bit curious as to who she is, and she might be his friend as well. "Huh, haven't seen you around here," he said. "I'm Reno Artorias, a good friend of theirs, even though I just met them today." He laughed at the statement, even though it's true. "Anyway," he continued. "I'm also a member of the Elites, along with a few others. If you have any issues around here, come find me, or our student body president, Clair O'Reilly, another elemental."

Luka nodded "She shocked me on the tip of my nose earlier" Luka waved to Reno when he walked in "I met my new friend Hazel in the lounge, she's deaf too" Luka exclaimed with joy. A thought occurred to her about the Raiven Situation "Maybe I could ask Clair if she could make an exception and put us three girls into a dorm together as I don't feel safe around my roommate and Hazel doesn't either!" 


Deep down Luka had a surprise stored up for Raiven, she may not be able to speak but her parents had taught her to scream if she got in trouble. Keeping this to herself she answered Hazel's homeschooling question "It's peaceful and I could learn really well as I wasn't distracted" She missed being at home in a way but she wouldn't leave the academy now. Not now she had such good friends anyway.
