        I'd begin to prepare myself an appropriate outfit for this fight. I'd begin putting on a different on a fresh set of clothing. My classic outfit, a white buttoned top, black dress pants along with black dress shoes. Not forgetting my tie, of course, I also added my black dress jacket and I'd instead button it instead of leaving it open as I'd normally do. As I walked outside my dorm room, I had headed towards the arena. Well, the arena that I was supposed to go to at least.


         As I got there, my heart fluttered with excitement. This was my first chance at seeing what students at this academy could possibly muster. As I stepped onto my side of the arena, and then I'd be waiting patiently for the time to come to fight.

Hazel just yawned as she woke up as she was still snuggling against luka" thank you for staying with me its very kind of you i glad we are friends' she signed as she blushed sightly she just looked around she rubbed her head as it felt a bit better she loved her food' the food was good too sorry i was a bit tired' she signed to her she sit up from the bed she was worried what will her roommate think of her since she was hurt she wanted to get the prank done with it will be funny when she comes back to the dorm and eat the chocolate she just lay on luka lap as she felt comfortable with she she felt happy as she was humming a song even though she couldn't hear it' can we go to the lounge and have some fun watch tv or play some video games' she signed as she just looked at her she was pouting a little bit @Eternal Dragonchild

"Of course" Luka signed "We don't need the formal dinner anyway, posh outfits are itchy" She stood up and started to head to the lounge "What shall we watch then?"  Luka loved to watch TV, especially when they had an interpreter on screen for her to follow. Her favourite shows were mystery dramas and similar things.

Homura called out to Reno who had been standing outside due to Adrian's joke "Just come in you're invited so it's fine" he said as he pulled the chair from his desk and sat down "Oh and come greet.....the human who still hasn't introduced himself" Homura still had no idea who the human boy was in terms of his name. "What is your name? Just so that I don't go around calling you human all the time" he wanted to be able to address people properly and thus decided to make a point to get their names upon greeting them.

Hazel just looked at her as she just smiled" yay lets go i don't know what to watch' she signed as she smiled' um you pick what to watch' she signed as she sat down on the couch as she smiled' i glad we don't have to go to that stupid party i don't like wearing dresses' she signed as she just looked at the other students given them strange looks she just shock her head' i hate it when other people give us strange looks' she signed as she was watching the tv as she saw an interpetter on the tv as she smiled with some of the subtitles she enjoyed watching them it was intreasted her favorite actor was marlee matlin she thought she was cool @Eternal Dragonchild

Nathaniel turned to Homura and quickly swallowed the candy he was chewed on, which went down his throat a little uneasily. "Oh, I'm sorry, I thought I gave my name. My name is Nathaniel Reed," he said, clearing his throat.

Luka flicked through the channels until she saw Hazels face light up. She put the remote down on the table and sat back to watch "It's nice to relax like this. Unfortunately, we have to deal with the strange looks." Luka tucked her feet under her, keeping them warm "Sometimes I'd give the world to hear for just a few minutes". The TV show was actually quite good and Luka quickly became absorbed.

[Prince of Corruption]

(Yeah I am just gonna post with Arcus in the training room.)


The sweat dropped from Arcus as he dodged another blow form the robots. He had been here for a while to work on his stamina, and his agility. Arcus just magnetized the scrape metal next to him, and formed it into a sword. He threw it towards the robot, and let the blade swing around like attached to a chain. Arcus used the lightning like a whip and whirled it around to finish the last of the robots. Arcus then just laid on the training floor, with the power going hay wire. Finally the power high subsided, and he would just spark every once in a while. That's when the flashback hit him. 


"I was running through the house again. I turned the corner to see my mom on the ground with a pool of blood around her. His dad was hovered over her with a knife in his hands, and electricity sparking off of him. I screamed and felt my chest burst. I pushed my hand towards my mom with tears hoping she would grab my hand. My dad then laughed and looked at me. I just felt a unbridled fury, and I used my power over electricity, and magnetized the iron in his blood stream, and boiled him alive." 


Arcus just laid their on the training floor, with tears falling, and lightning sparking around him. This always happened as Arcus tried to push his power forward, and to be able to be one with his element. He swore to never let anyone he loved get hurt, because he didn't have the power to stop them.

Raiven noticed that Arcus had left the room, excused herself and began looking for him. She had his new jacket slung over one arm. As she wandered through the halls she noticed sparks from a training room. She entered and found Arcus crying on the floor. 


She knew from personal experience of when she was upset to approach him carefully so she set the jacket down on the floor next to her and slipped her hand into his before stroking his cheek gently, calming her fellow Lightning Elemental down. "Arc, talk to me love, what's wrong" She quietly pleaded with him.

I..I can't you will only get hurt too." I can let you get hurt like my mom. I can't." The once shy and cute demeanor of Arcus was gone. It was one place with despair, and scared little kid. No one knew of Arc's past except for the Head Master. "Raiven please promise me one thing. If I ever lose control of my powers you will do anything to stop me." Arcus siad as he gave a look of no other option.

 

[Bunny Hop]

"I won't get hurt Arc, do you know why? You'd never let it happen to your Queen" Raiven had never seen him like this,  so afraid and nervous. "I will,  but it will never come to that because I believe that you will one day master your powers"


 She slowly pressed closer to him, letting him take control of sharing their power. 


Resting her head next to his she pressed a soft kiss to his cheek "I'll never leave your side Arcus,  together we'll master our skills,  move into a house,  have children" She whispered her vow into his ear,  hopefully reassuring him.

Hazel just was watching the tv as she saw someone laughing as she got up she was trying" op vaka ka von" she say trying to speak but it wasn't understable she meant to say' stop making fun off us' she signed as she punched the person who made fun of them as she sat back down as she looked at her friend she just sighed she gets angry with people starying she just wanted to cry she didn't want to hurt them but she was sad she start to sniff she hated getting made fun of she just leaned against her friend" i'm sorry" she signed as she she just looked back at the bullies laughing @Eternal Dragonchild

Positioning herself correctly Luka rammed her foot straight into his crown jewels.  He made a sound much like a deflating balloon as he crumpled to the floor, freeing Hazel. 


Now the rest of the bullies looked unsure of themselves,  a human had just floored their leader, and a deaf one at that.  Taking advantage of this Luka grabbed Hazel and pulled her into the dorm they were in earlier,  slamming the door behind them and barricading it.

Dmitri Gardenia

As Dmitri took his first step onto the grounds of the school, he took some time to reflect on himself. How he got here, his talents, and the like. He remembers all the rough patches he went through, just to be here. Memories he holds fondly, but in a different way. He holds those memories as an energy source, or something that he can feed off of to grow. He decided to, instead of looking back at his past, to look at the future ahead.

He thinks about his future, all the new allies he'll make, all the fights he can get into, all the wine he can drink...that sort of stuff. Not the memories of pain or kidnap that he failed to blank out. Repressing memories isn't his sort of thing. Sure, he doesn't talk much about it, but it teaches him to grow stronger, so it won't happen again.

With all his thoughts organized, he heads into the school, holding his bags filled with his items and valuables. Gold trinkets made by his older brother for his birthday, an old spell book filled with shadow spells, so he could improve his shadow magic. A note from his parents and brothers, encouraging him and hoping the best for him. Nothing but happiness.

Clair , as mentioned before , had gotten changed into her formal attire and as mentioned before did have the intention to go to the diner. Did. That is until of course she found herself lost in paperwork once again , there was always an abundance of paperwork to be done in this school and the majority of them were damage reports and or injury reports. Luckily there weren't that many so far , it was only the first day mind you.


However the first day , not even officially the first day, did bring about it's fair share of paperwork. There were reports to be done on upcoming classes , the battles had to be scheduled , inventory had to be checked god knows how many times and to top it all off there were already reports coming in on elementals bullying humans. Miraculously the elites had somehow managed to dodge the majority of all of these reports. Outstanding results on their part.


Anyway Clair worked away in her room , segregated from the main dorm room by a special barrier placed cleanly in her doorway. If Clair was to open her door from within she could link to any door in the school , however should anyone open the door in her bedroom (located in her dorm room) now they would find nothing but.... well actually nothing. Probably a nice shade of purple if anything.


Conveniently Clair still received reception and wifi from within her little pocket space , and as a result received the text from Luka. Now of course , having been mentally assaulted by work , blown off by Arcus and having to referee a match all in the one day..... well even Clair's patience was running low.


Taking a loud sigh of both exhaustion and anger Clair dropped her pen and made her way over to the door , opening it to appear from the closet door above the main stairs. Locking her door behind her Clair quickly made her way down said stairs just in time to witness Luka kick the brute in the... man hood.... a bit harsh. Never the less , Clair proceeded down the stairs and immediately took a position between the two groups. "How many reports will I have to lodge today...... Listen , everyone here is to disperse within the next ten seconds , I'm feeling somewhat merciful today so count yourselves lucky. That goes for you two Luka , Humans are not to partake in combat with elementals , doing so under any other circumstance would have resulted in an immediate suspension." Of course the speech was sighed as spoken.

"You're no fun!" He huffed but stopped his air manipulation. "But you may pass." Then automatically Raiven excused herself and left. Darn. Adrian did make more enemies than friends, but hey, that didn't stop Adrian Vivien for being who he was. But it was still quite a mystery how he became an Elite, the Vice Captain no less. And all of this by the age of at least 15. He may be young but his birthday was coming up so why not. Adrian waited for Reno to open the door, adjusting his vest with his free hand. He looked quite dapper in this formal attire, it kinda hid his obnoxious attitude. Just kidding! Nothing can hide that attitude.


Adrian glanced at the human and smiled. "I'll call you Nath for short. Your name is too long for me to even process it!" He liked giving nicknames to people. It was in his nature. "Geez Reno I said you can get in!" He looks back at the door. "Don't make me change my mind!"

Reno opened the door and walked inside. "Sometimes, your idea of fun doesn't seem all that amusing," he told Adrian. He then faced a new student inside the same dorm, but no other elites. "Hmm, where are the other Elites," he asked. "Oh, and hey there Nathaniel, I'm Reno, a fellow Elite like Homura...and Adrian." He said the last part out of annoyance, especially since he knows how much of a jokester he can be. He sits down by one of the beds and reclines on it. "So Homura," he said. "What is it you got as a welcome back gift?"

"Oh it is amusing.... for me that is." Adrian usually pulled jokes like this for his own personal amusement. He didn't care how other people thought of him or his jokes. Adrian just never worried about other's opinions than his own opinion of himself. And his opinion of himself was very high and mighty. "And maybe you're not amused because you're just no fun." He smirked. But that smirk soon faded once he heard Reno say his name in annoyance. In return for that Adrian stuck his tongue out at him. He sure was childish, and not to mention a big jokester. But you couldn't blame Adrian! His childhood was lonely and boring so he made sure the rest of his life would be social and fun! But seeing Adrian in his formal suit made him look a bit mature you have to admit but looks cant change personality sadly.

Dmitri placed his hand over the door knob, and slowly turned it. he gently pushed the door open, and peeked his head into the academy. This is it, his second chance. To fix all that was wrong before. Many emotions flooded his brain - uncertainty, fear, determination, confidence, all at once. But now that he arrived here, he knew he was capable of doing anything, as the world could not hold him back, for he is Dmitri Gardenia. He takes a minute to observe, before he steps in and makes a full appearance, standing inside the place of his future.

Dmitri immediately makes his way to his dorm...108 they said, correct? He wonders who he will meet, but at the same time, he wonders....will they hurt him? Like those men did before? Almost every flaw of his was born during....that time. He calls it that time, because he only mentions it in vague short stories. He never mentions himself in those tales, or anyone else for that matter. People tend to fall for it and take pity for a fictional character, a character Dmitri made up to take his place. Nonetheless, he pushes it back into the deepest pits of his mind, and moves on,

"Hey. I can be fun," said Reno. "I just choose not to for the fact that I'm trying to give the Elites a better image here." Adrian was really getting on his nerves, but suddenly a memory hit him. Reno pulls out the very chocolate bar that he meant to give to Raiven and figured he's give it to Adrian instead. "Hey Adrian," he shouted, holding out a chocolate bar in his hand. "Since you're here, I figured you should have this. It's some chocolate bar I found in some store back in the US."

        I'd continue to be bored, as I waited, and waited, and waited. I grew tired of waiting. Because, when you are waiting, it means you have to wait. It has already been 5:30, it has been 10 Minutes late after this 'supposed battle' had to start. If no one was present I might as well leave as I created an illusion, silencing the winter wind, or my feeling of it, as it continued to plague me.

Pulling out her phone Raiven sent a quick text to Reno, updating him on why she left quickly. 


Something big came up with Arcus. Never seen him like this. I'll need to stay with him for a while.  I don't know if we'll make the meeting. Fill me in if we don't show. Thanks,  owe you one. 


Leaning back Raiven lay down on top of Arcus,  acting both as a security blanket and an anchor to reality. 


As she pushed a small amount of her electricity towards him she also pushed her deepest feelings,  her hopes and fears.
