Your very own Pokemon Adventure is about to unfold...

Ryan is a pretty carefree person. He has always been a bit of a slacker. He never had much of a reason to try too hard for anything. His parents tried to get him involved in the pokemon league challenge but he was too lazy to look around for the gyms. He just enjoys nature. He tends to sit out and watch clouds for hours with his Quagsire. The only thing he cared enough about to put effort into was his pokemon. He loves his pokemon with all his heart and never misses a chance to spend time with them or train them. He isnt one for gym battles, but he often gets into casual battles with his friends. He actually fares pretty well too.


When he heard of what was happening in Kanto he couldn't take it. The idea that people were murdering pokemon as too much for him to handle. He gathered his friends and convinced them to join him in trying to stop it. Pokemon werent meant to kill...

Ryan was born in Violet City. He was given his Cyndaquil by his parents when he turned ten in hopes that he would take the challenge. He simply goofed off with his new friend every day. They would take walks and sleep in fields every day. He finally left home at 17. He needed to see some new faces, and he met his first new face early on. He ran into a wooper quite early on. He caught it. He was charmed by its smile. Thus Constantine was added to the team.


He spent the next year or so exploring Johto with his two pokemon. He met his Shuckle and thought it was cute. He caught it as well. When he arrived in Blackthorn city he was told that there were Teddiursas in the mountains to the south. Ryan couldnt resist. He had a teddiursa bear as a kid. He caught Chloe soon after, completeing his current team.


After his journey through Johto he was going to head to Kanto, but was stopped on the way. Apparently something bad was going on in Kanto. No one would tell him what it was. But someone let it slip that there was a professor who knew in Evergrande city. Ryan caught the next ship. Something was off about this

  Amaris is rather spacey, always floating off in some other world. She never seems to be all...there. Her attention span is a negative, and often drifts off while someone else is talking. She never takes things too seriously, and is always living a few minutes behind everyone else. Very monotone, she doesn't show much emotion unless it's very strong. Even then, the most one can get out of her is a few tears or a smile. If she shows strong emotions, something's either horribly wrong, or horribly right. Depends on the situation.
  
  
  She doesn't have much motivation, and can usually be found lazing around with her Pokemon somewhere. Naps and tea are her favorite things, along with her Pokemon. She forms attachments to non-human things very easily, but those attachments are broken off as quickly as they can be made. She's quite polite, and doesn't see the point in fighting. Or doing most things.
  
  
  Her relationships with people are a variable, she either gets way too attached (and never shows it) or she doesn't care almost at all. There is a middle ground, but not many people fall under that. Her relationships with Pokemon are rather solid however. She loves every Pokemon she comes across, no matter what. She's not a big fan of battles or contests, and would rather play with her buddies all day, but she's fine battling if her Pokemon want to. Same goes for contests.
  
  
  What has your life been like so far?
  
  
  "Eh...not too interesting. That's ok though."
  
  
  Amaris grew up on Village Bridge alongside her 'grandparents', the elderly couple who adopted her. She spent her days lounging around, taking in the homely sights of the bridge, and taking naps in the wilderness. When she was about 12, she journeyed to Nuvema with her grandparents to start her Pokemon journey. Her 'journey' mostly consisted playing around back at her home and at various towns she traveled to. She decided to travel to Kanto after hearing about what had happened there, since her Pokemon got so riled up about it. Her grandparents still don't know that she left Unova, and she feels pretty bad about not telling them. However, she knows that if she tells them, they'd about have a heart attack.
  
  
  
  
  
  So, how did you find your Pokemon?:
  
  
  "It's...a pretty short story actually."
  
  
  Severa, her Servine was given to her by Professor Juniper as a starter. Their friendship had a rocky start, as Severa was a huge tsundere, but the two came to like each other in time.
  
  
  Amaris found her Zorua, Ruto, in a nearby forest. Ruto had disguised herself as a human to play with Amaris, as she seemed fun to the Pokemon. The two played together every day, until one day the illusion wore off during one of their escapades. Amaris simply laughed it off and offered to add Ruto to the team. The two have been together ever since.
  
  
  Scree, her Rufflet, was one of many that lived around Village Bridge. Amaris always took the time to feed them on her way to the forest, and the flocks were pretty thankful for that. One Rufflet in particular was more thankful than the others, and insisted on following her around and protecting her from any supposed 'danger' she may encounter. Like falling leaves and questionable food from vending machines. Instead of finding this annoying, Amaris thought the behavior was quite sweet and endearing, so she added Scree to the team.
  
  
  Resetii, her Drillbur, was a rather flashy fellow who plauged her grandpa's garden. Day in and day out, he dug hole after hole, with seemingly the express purpose of making Amaris' grandpa mad. Eventually, the little pranks turned into a full out war between the two. Tired of seeing them fight, Amaris decided to step in and see if should could get the Drillbur to stop. After 3 days with no luck, she noticed how stand-offish the Pokemon was, and went and bought some shades for him. Resetii loved those shades so much he not only stopped his war on the garden, he also joined Amaris' team. (without asking)

Q: What are you like? What do other people describe you as?


A: "People say I'm....a little obnoxious. I don't like being told what to do, ya'see? Like to go my own way, do my own thing and when I put my mind to it, no one is about to stop me from doin' what I want. I like to make jokes, sometimes I can be more than irritating with my sarcasm, but I don't try to hurt people I care about with intention, get it? But I'm a....little thick headed sometimes so if ya' don't tell me I hurt ya', I won't know. But people say despite how abrasive I can be, I care about my friends, and they're right, ya' got that? Don't even think about messin' with my pals, and we won't have a problem."


Q: And where are you from? What made you well...you?"


A: "Eh? What kinda' wordin' is that huh? But if ya' gotta know, my parents died when I was little, somethin' to do with an explosion somewhere I don't really remember, I was six at the time. But I was born in Lumiose city, and that was the Orphanage I was sent to when none of my lovin' family would take me in. Haven't had contact with em' in years, fore' ya' ask. Forgot my last name over time so I made up my own. Nota' big deal, right?





But I hated it there. First chance I got, I tried runnin' away. It's lonely enough without family when ya' don't have any friends either. But when I ran away, that was when I met Ripley, and since they let me keep her I had no problems goin' back to that place. But eventually I grew too old for the Orphanage and they let me go.





So I took up Pokemon tranin', and it's tough work but Ripley and I? Piece of cake for us and we've made a lot of new friends along the way. Guess ya' could say I got lucky, meeting Ripley like I did. She's my saving Grace, and I'm hers."

If ya'll want to play any of the kanto gym leaders let me know. Blaine, Lt. Surge, and Koga are dead at this point, but you can play any of the others. We will meet them as the story goes on. Keep in mind its been around 55 years since we last saw them, so they'll be pretty old.


You can send a character sheet in for them if you would like. You can make them however you want, Brock is the defacto leader of a resistance movement for instance.
