It’s a hard nox life.
Or so the saying goes.
But much more could be said about the small town of Noxium. Noxium is a relatively small, secluded town where everyone knows each other, has a secret, and where your name holds more merit than your actions. Most notably, if you are a part of the four prominent and highly prestigious families of Noxium. Who are these four families you ask?
A family of ghouls, a clan of vampires, a coven of witches, and a pack of werewolves. These four “families” make up the center of Noxium, you can consider them as governing bodies, there’s almost nowhere you can go in Noxium without hearing about them, or seeing their names plastered over town.
Ah, it should probably be noted—this is not your ordinary city. No, this city of Noxium is a misty land of mystery and magic, with the demographic of human residents being about…a mere twenty-one percent?
Noxium is home to the monsters and creatures of myth, the type you thought were only in fables and scary bedtime stories. Noxium is a legally secluded community, constructed on the backbone of the community, and most importantly, the money and operations of the four prestige families.
The nation is aware of Noxium and its not-so-human inhabitants. And through the manipulations, and magnificent universally sound wonders of money and favors, this city has been relatively unbothered and allowed to flourish without much interference from the country governments and outside law enforcement.
However, despite the privilege of seclusion this little city has had throughout the decades, its impenetrable veil of seclusion and mystery is at risk of being uncovered. There are those within the town who seek to destroy all that has been built, exposing the secrets to the rest of the mundane society. Which could spell absolute disaster for everyone in Noxium.
Most importantly, there is a secret well kept within the community of Noxium, and should this dark truth come to light...it could spell absolute disaster for us all. For once you enter…there is little chance of ever getting out.

The Montarac’s.
The Notorious Vampires
One of the oldest families in the history of vampires. The Montarac’s is a household name that goes beyond the dark, misty gates of Noxium, their power and status stretching far and wide. It is an unspoken sentiment among those who know to not cross this prestigious clan. There is little that their influence can not touch. It should be noted that they have a long standing rivalry with the Duncan’s and tense, but fairly cordial relations with the Osbourne’s.

Of wolves and men
Deadly, frightening, powerful. While they may not have the royal prestige of the Montarac's, they more than make up for that with their reputation of being the most dangerous werewolf pack the denizens of Noxium have ever known. Loyalty and strength is the most important factor for the Duncan's, to lack either would spell fatal for anyone in their midst. The Duncan's have their hands in numerous constructions works and projects along the east, operating under many different LLC holdings for protecting their packs identity. It is argued that while the Montarac's may have provided the financial backing to keep Noxium alive, that it was the Duncan's sheer strength that built this thriving, mythical city of theirs.

The Osborne’s.
The Dreadful Ghouls
Absolutely ghastly, but beautifully haunting are the Osbourne's of Noxium. Not much is known about this ghoulish family that resides in the deep hallows of Noxium, preferably by the graveyard where folks say they can see the apparitions of the lost and loves ones who've passed. Despite their preference to stay out of of the front line of Noxium affairs and publicity, their reputation among the masses is not something that can be easily ignored, for to do so would possibly place you into an early grave. The Osbourne's financial and prestigious status rivals that of the Montarac's, with their coffers vast and spreading farther than the eyes can see. They are fairly neutral with the other three prestigious clans of Noxium, but have most ties to the Montarac's with a history of blood ties that only certain people in these families are aware of the truth.

The Woodbane’s.
The Baneful Witches
Powerful, all knowing, highly favored. There is much said about the archetype of the 'witch' but little is truly known by those who are not among the chosen delegation. To be a witch is to be an extension of the very life arounds, it's energies flow through you, favor you and it is up to you manipulate these energies at your own will. The Woodbanes are the eldest coven of witches known to man. Though they choose to keep their identities restricted outside of Noxium, fanatic's of this coven have managed to gain slight knowledge of their existence, writing uncreditable sources live journals and articles on this ancient coven of witches. Despite being a frighteningly powerful coven, even so that the other three families are highly aware of the threat they pose, they are still comprised mostly of human's, though their life span is much longer than the common mortal, the stronger the witch, the longer their longevity is. Most witches in the Woodbane clan are not directly related, and choose to live solitary lives outside of the main house where the elder witches, baby witches and Supreme reside located in the center of Noxium. Fair warning: they are not to be underestimated.

CHARACTERS.
This isn’t first-come, first-serve, you’ll submit your character to me and the co-gm ( tyranna ) VIA PM, once we approve you can post the character in the CS thread. Please be aware I have the right to reject any character that I believe won’t be a good fit, the odds of this happening are low, but it needs to be known. This is a ART/ANIMATED character role play ONLY. Please do not submit non art characters. I prefer nicely, professional done art(must be credited or linked) over hand drawn art, I like a sort of aesthetic/uniformity to my role plays, so please do not take your character selection lightly as that will play a factor in acceptance of your character.

LITERACY.
As far as literacy goes, I’m less concerned about how much you can write, and more worried about the structure of your writing. I’m looking for quality writing, quantity doesn’t matter. Basically, I want proper spelling, correct use of grammar, and tasteful writing.
