That is GREAT question! Yes, I wanted the players to basically have somewhat free reign to navigate their selected characters storyline as they wish. There is premade lore in terms of the origination of Noxium, certain family dynamic's(i.e the classic rivarly of the Duncan's vs the Montaracs, or known status through the city for all the clans/covens) which I will post a separate thread containing that lore in the extra pages section once I can. But otherwise, I will be entrusting you all to lead the storyline down whatever asinine path it goes on, while providing gentle nudges here and there to keep everything cohesive~ but definitely if you guys have any questions about Noxium and stuff that may help you get your characters together, feel free to ask~!

Hey there! glad you would like to join and honored you would like my RP to be the one to get you back into writing ;_; I definitely understand that feeling, this RP is to help revitalize my long time love for role playing, personally.

As for the character face claims, yes this is a art/anime face claim RP, so no overly realistic or human images in the characters sheets. Anime images are totally acceptable as long as it properly fits the vibe of your character, and the RP! Also, preferably if you do use an anime character for your reference, try to find one that is of fan art of the character(for example lets say you wanted to use a image of Sasuke from Naruto, that would be fine but don't literally rip it from the TV show, find tasteful art of him and so on and so forth-I'm a bit of art snob when it comes to that tbh LOL)I actually provided examples in another post where someone had a similar question as well Please see below(question #1)

LOL—this legit made me bust out laughing, honestly don’t worry too much about the bethrothed part of the eldest son role. It’s really just a very useful plot device that will come in handy in the RP (; so definitely don’t feel any pressure about that!

Great questions!
1. I’m not overly picky about the type of art this used, just so long as it fits the role/them properly. But typically just about any digital art is fine. Here some random examples: example 1 and 2
I just don’t want anything that looks like a 3 year old drew it if you catch my drift lol

2. The time period is current modern day, I’m not too fixated on having an exact date and year currently but everything we know in our society is applicable in this roleplay

3. Noxium is a fictional society. It’s a highly enchanted domain that is not easy to access or locate on man made maps/geographical tools. I want to leave stuff in terms of geographical location as vague as possible as pretty much everything will only be taking place within Noxium with occasional references to outside states/cities such as NYC, LA etc.

Another frame of reference for an idea of how Noxium can be imagined is a bit like Storybrooke from ABC’s Once Upon a Time and Penny Dreadful so a lot of Victorian esque architecture, surrounding woods and forests etc. I will also state that climate is more along the lines of being on the “east coast”

Hope that paints a good enough picture of Noxium!

Anywho, I’m glad to see so much interest for the ghouls/Osbourne family! I was actually worried they’d be hardest roles to fill xD

I think once enough interest picks up here I’ll just post the character sheet here so you guys have time to start getting an idea for your characters ahead of time~

And yes, they can be your own art, or art you find on the internet, as long as you reference where you got it from and or the artist!

It is open to apply for TWO characters currently. Given that this is a relatively large RP and I want there to be as many different dynamics in this as possible, I will be allowing you guys to apply for two spots should you like to do so same rules apply, you must submit your CS for the role to me and the CO-GM to be approved for a second. But ONLY apply for two if you know you can handle it. Each role listed will be playing an important role in this storyline so do not apply for a role you can not commit to.

IMPORTANT UPDATE

Hello lovely folk of Nox! Hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas Eve if you celebrate, and if not, then just a wonderful day in general~

I have added a new criteria to the character sheet. There is now a "Role" section of it. It is pretty self explanatory, simply place the role you are applying for there. I realized there was no specific part in the sheet state who exactly you were playing as on it so forgive me ^^;

Those of you who have already submitted your sheets to me, please make the necessary edit to them as well.

ALSO IMPORTANT!

I should have specified earlier that again, as the rules state, it is not first come, first serve for the role you are applying for. I want everyone to have fair chance at the role they are looking at.
That said, there will be a deadline for all those interested to have your character sheets in by.

CHARACTER SHEET SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 12/30/2022

Give that the CS is fairly short and simplistic, that should be ample time for those currently interested to submit your sheets in. If for some reason you do not think you will be able to meet the deadline, please inform me or tyranna so we can work something out.

On that deadline, we will then let everyone know who is accepted in and send out the discord link.


Lastly, just so everyone(including any newcomers we may get joining) has an idea of the current roles that I have yet to see much interest for/claim are:

Hiya! yes, so we will not be reviewing/giving approvals to anyone's CS yet until the deadline tomorrow. So if you have any changes you want to make, you can still do so before I go through it! :3

Alrighty, so the deadline is fast approaching. Remember that ALL CS must be submitted to me and tyranna by tomorrow for review/approval. We will look them over, and if they are deemed good, then we will give you the link to the discord and you may post the sheet to the CS thread. If there are any errors, we will still give you a chance to revise the sheet before the actual IC starts.
