Not Everything Is Perfect...(Val & Coedy)

Avery smiled a bit. "Aww!" She giggled. "You're so sweet." She softly kissed his lips. "I can't believe I found you either."

Dane heard a crash, as if someone fell. His heart fell to his stomach as her father opened the door. Maybe this was a mistake. No, he couldn't think like that. He was doing this for Haley. "I'm a friend of Haley." He said, trying not to sound like he was nervous.

Sam laughed softly, he kissed her back, maybe a little longer than needed. "You're so unique.. I don't know how I hadn't met you yet.." He whispered sweetly.

"A friend eh?" Zachary laughed, "Why and how does my stupid little daughter have a friend?" He asked, still standing in the doorway. He took Dane by the collar of his shirt, and looked at him as he pulled the young boy into his house.

Avery savored the kiss. "Easy." She said. "I move a lot." She kissed him again. She definitely didn't want this night to end. She wanted to stay here forever.

Dane's heart was definitely racing. His breath was shallow. He wished Haley didn't have to deal with this. "She isn't stupid." He said before he was yanked in. "H-Hey." He was definitely scared.

Sam kissed her again, not wanting to think. He pulled her even closer, and let his lips rest against her lips.

Zachary laughed, "Yes she is." He told Dane, pulling him down the hall. "Youre a friend heh?" He asked as he threw Dane into Haley's room, and laughed. "I'll be back,"

Avery smiled more as he kissed her. Without thinking, she rolled over. Thus pulling him on top of her. She didn't care what anyone else would think about this.

Dane struggled against him, but it didn't do any good. When he was thrown into, what must be, Haley's room, he landed on his wrist weird. "Ow." He muttered, shaking it out.

Sam gently held her against the bed, he continued to kiss her, sub consiously playing with her hair, and rubbing her sides.

Haley looked up from her hands, sighing when she saw Dane. "Oh Dane, what did you do?" She asked, moving over, and looking at his wrist. She looked at him, ignoring her beaten and bruised body to take care of him.

Avery felt his hands. They sent shivers down her spine, but she liked it. One hand moved along his chest slowly, taking it all in.

Dane looked up at her. "I'm okay." He said. He noticed that she seemed beaten up. "But you're not." His hand gently held her face.

Sam played with her hands and fingers as they ran across his chest, "You taste like candy." He he whispered as he broke away from kissing her.

Haley took his hand, and grabbed a bandage. She wrapped the tape and splint around his wrist, and looked at him. "No, I'm not hurt.. you're the hurt one." She insisted, slowly pulled her face out of his hand.

Avery smiled a bit. "Does that mean I'm sweet?" She asked him in a whisper. She opened her eyes to look into his. She could get lost in his eyes. They were unique and different, in a very good way.

Dane winced a little when she grabbed his hand. When she was done, he looked down. "I'm sorry." He whispered softly.

Sam nodded, smiling softly, "You're the sweetest." He whispered, opening his eyes to meet hers, and the smiled. His green-blue and brown eyes studied her as they laid on the bed.

Haley looked at him, lifting his head by his chin. "Why are you apologizing?" She asked, as she moved closer, and snuggled her head into his neck.

Avery smiled a bit more. "I love you." She whispered. She knew that eventually this would end and she would have to go back to her house. Not that she ever wanted to leave.

Dane held her close. "I feel useless." He said. "I want to protect you and keep you safe, but I don't know how." He added quietly. It was awful not knowing what to do.

"I love you too." Sam said, enclosing her in a bear hug. He kissed her neck, smiling a He held her against his body.

Haley move on to his lap, she rubbed his arms and shoulders looking into his eyes. "You're here now and that's all that matters to me." She told him, as she held onto him tightly.

Avery smiled more. She held tightly onto him. "I don't want to go home later." She said. She didn't even know what time it was.

Dane continued to hold her close. "But I don't want you here." He told her softly. "I know it's probably not my place, but I want you far away from him."

"Why can't you stay here? I don't wanna let you go." Sam whined, as he kissed her softly, and continued to maintain his grip on her small body.

Haley looked up at him, "I don't want to be here, but it's where I live, so what am I supposed to do?" She asked, as she squeezed his shoulders, and pressed her head into his chest.

Avery smiled more. "Because my dad would kill me." She told him. "Then where would you be?" She was only joking, but if she stayed out on a school night, her social life was toast.

Dane wasn't thinking as he talked. "Get out of here." He said. "Stay with me." He added. "I don't think my mom would mind. We have a guest room that could easily be yours." Truth was he'd really have to talk to his parents, unless he came right out and said why.

"I'd be at your funeral, of course." Sam joked, as he pushed and played around with her hair. He really didn't want her to have to leave.

Haley looked at him with furrowed eyebrows, "Dane, I can't just leave, and have you take my burdens! I mean, I appreciate the offer, but I couldn't really accept it." She explained, subbornly.

Avery smiled. "How sweet." She said. "How about this" She tried. "I'll stay here until my dad texts or calls me asking were the hell I am." She added. "Sound like a plan?"

Dane sighed a little. "I figured you'd say that." He said quietly. "But you're not a burden." He told her. "The offer stands, at least for a few nights until I can bring my parents to agree." He added, knowing that would have to be done.

"Yay, Sam likes your idea." He chuckled and kissed her cheek. "Imma keep you forever and ever an ever!" He declared squeezing her happily.

Haleh glanced at him, and then smiled, "Thank you." She whispered, hearing footsteps coming down the hall. She gulped, trembling, and looked at her dad. "Hi Dad." She managed to say, before she was pulled out of the little corner, and shoved on the bed. He grabbed Dane by the neck. "Punch her." He demanded, holding him by his neck.

Avery smiled more. "I like your idea too." She said with a small giggle. She held onto him, not wanting her dad to text to her ever.

Dane smiled a bit. When her father came in, he tried holding onto her still. It didn't work. The grip in his neck hurt, but he wasn't going to let it show. "What? No." He said. He wasn't going to hit a girl, especially not Haley.

Sam giggled, he picked her up in his arms and stood up, spinning her around, and set her back down on the bed with a smile.

Haley looked at her dad, and then Dane. She took a deep breath, and gave a soft sigh. "Well kid, have it your way." He chuckled, and let go of his neck. He sat on top of Haley and started to punch.

Avery smiled more when he picked her up. She hung onto him and laughed as he spun them around. She was still laughing when he set her back down. She pulled him down on top of her and kissed him softly.

Dane didn't think about what he was doing. He managed to pull her father off of her. He didn't want him to hurt Haley.

Sam smirked, loving to hear her laugh. He kissed her back, placing his hand on the side of her face, and holding himself on top of her. He smiled before he placed another kiss on her plush lips.

Haley looked at her father, and then over to Dane. She grabbed her things, throwing them in to a duffle bag, and stood up. She took a deep breath, before kicking her father, and punched him. "Come on, we have to go now." she whispered into Dane's ear, and gave him a look of desperation.

Avery's heart sped up when he kissed her back. One hand played with his hair and the other rested over his heart.

Dane watched her and then didn't hesitate. "Let's go." He grabbed her hand and left. He led her to his car. Once they were both in, he started to drive.

Sam liked to feel her playing with his hair, and her hand over his heart. He couldn't help but to kiss her back. He smiled, not wanting to pull away, and waited to see what Avery would do.

Haley threw her things into the car, and hopped into the passenger's seat, and buckled up. Her mind filled with what ifs as she took a-hold of his hand, and squeezed it.

Avery kept him close. She didn't want to let him go just yet.

Dane took her hand as they drove. "I love you." He said quietly. He just wanted her to be safe, no matter what.
