North-Wood Palm High

Mason sat in English, all he could think about was Mae, her hair and eyes, her amazing talent of ballet

Alissa pushed her hair behind her ears and looked at the teache, then the clock. She just wanted to be done with English, she was good enough at it

((okay Kelsey!))

Macey breezed through the first half of math period. A few people behind her cut up, but that was typical of most jocks. She wasn't even sure how they made it into a class this advanced. She wondered if Mason took Calculus, she figured he was smart. He wasn't like other guys at their school. He was different. She really liked that.

Towards the end of class Professor Watson gave out assignments and then allowed everyone to relax the last 10 minutes of class, which was really odd. This was Mae's last period for the day, being a senior she was able to get off early.

"Dr. Watson?" Mae asked, "May I be excused from class."

He happily signed a release note and handed it to her, and Mae quickly bounded out of class.

Mason checked his phone, then put it back. There was 10 more minutes left of class, and next he had calculus.

Alissa played wih her pencil and tapped it on her leg. She needed English to be over she would get to her bored capacity blown.

Mae grabbed her things out of her locker and sat on one of the benches in the hall with a book in hand. She smiled slightly, realizing she had sat right by the english hall. Mae opened up her book, and got comfortable on the bench then began to read. She wasn't sure what she would do for another class period if Mason had a class, which she figured he would. She was one of the few who didn't have class all day. She didn't want to leave school, but she didn't want to hang around either. Her legs were sore from dancing, maybe she was just stretch and work on her flexibility in the Athletics room.

As the bell rang, he walked outside of the classroom. He saw Mae "Hey" he said with a smile h quickly put his books away and grabbed his calculus book.

"Class?" Mae asked sweetly, looking up from her book. She stood and walked over to him. "I'm done for the day, but um, I'll wait for you. I'll be in the workout room behind the gym. So you can meet me there before we go." She touched his shoulder lightly and then pulled her hand back, looking up at him. "How was english?"

Mason smiled softly "Ok, I'll see you after calculus" he said with a smile "English was eh; all we did was simple sentences and other sentence things" he said with a chuckle. "I've gotta go, see ya" he said as he walked to calculus and took a seat

Alissa walked to Science and sat down, this was her last period until school was done for the week, becuase it was Friday.

Mae smiled and ran off to the workout room, it seemed like she could never blow off enough steam. She changed again, but this time into some workout shorts and a neon green sports bra, then took out a yoga mat to stretch and work on her core strength. She began with an intense ab circuit that she learned at the Kirov Russian Ballet Academy. It was all about interval training, and tricking your muscles. About 15 minutes in, her abs burned furiously, but it was a good burn. Her legs ached, but it was all worth it to stay looking fit and strong for ballet.

Mason sat in class; he was day dreaming, but got interrupted but a smack of a paper on his desk: he'd gotten a 100 percent on his quiz. He flew through the first half of calculus. Being a senior was great, "Excuse me Dr. Watson, may I please excused from class?" he asked. Dr. Watson happily agreed and signed an excuse paper for him. He bolted out of calculus and towards the workout room. He walked by Mae "Hey! I'm done" he said with aa smile.

Alissa was speeding through science. She got her mid term grade on her test 97 percent; an A. She asked her Science teacher if she could be excused from class. She agreed and signed an excuse form for her. She ran to her locker and grabbed her gym clothes. She changed and grabbed a basketball. She started with layups and free throws

Mae was in the middle of a very complicated chest press, with her legs bent forward over her and her face touching her feet. She looked like a pretzel. She was startled when she saw Mason run in! "HOLY CRAP!" She gasped, nearly falling out of her pose, "you seriously just about gave me a heart attack. Watson let you out early too?" She slowly kicked her legs back over and took some deep breaths. It was hard staying in that stretch for a long time.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to" Mason said "Yep Watson let me out, so we are free of school, until monday" he said with a small laugh. He sat down by her and smiled

"Bleh don't remind me," Mae said grabbing her clothes from the bench. "Hey do me a favor and turn around real quick so I can change, the dressing room in here is locked." She looked at him quizzically, trying to read his expressions. God he had the cutest smile. "Oh and close your eyes."

Mason nodded, turned around, and closed his eyes. He waited for Mae to finish getting dressed. He combed his hair once and put his hands in his pockets

Mae quickly changed and then clapped her hands. "Thank you," She said softly, and walked over to him, linking her arm through his.

His arms were strong and tan, against her tapered pale ones. She liked how soft his skin was, and she hoped he wasn't uncomfortable with her touching him.

After all, they had only started speaking to eachother a few hours before.

"So where are you taking me?" Mae asked, flashing him a smile.

Mason smiled "You're welcome" he said he looked at her when she linked her arm with his. He thought for a second "Big Apple Bagels" he said with a smile he led her to his car and opened her door. He went to his side and opened his door. He got into his car and waited for Mae to do the same

"Why thank you sir," Mae said, climbing into his car. "And just for the record, I love Big Apple Bagels! I go there like, every saturday."

She buckled herself in and turned on the radio.

"What do you listen to?"

Mason chuckled "I don't have a specific genre. You can pick whatever you would like" he said with a wink. He started to drive, it wears only aa five minute drive. He looked at Mae. Then quickly back at the road.

Alissa sat in the gym. She took mats out and set them up. Sh did back handsprings and flips on them

Mae put it on 105.1, Planet Rock. "Yeah I like rock music, unlikely huh? But I'm like you, I'll listen to anything. Literally anything." She turned it up just a little more, and then asked, "Do you mind if I roll down the window?

Mason chuckled "Go ahead, roll down your window" he said as he turned down the AC and smiled. He knew this would be a great day

Mae smiled and breathed in the outside air as it whipped around in the car.

Good thing it isn't hot, she thought to herself.

Her hair blew around her and she hummed the song on the radio.

Since Logan had no plans for after school anymore he walked to the gym to shoot some hoops. He saw Allissa there. "Oh hey. Fancy meeting you here." he laughed. "I didn't know you did any sports." he said picking up the basketball and shooting some hoops.

Mason smiled and looked at Mae; she looked very pretty. He pulled in the parkinglot of Big Apple he opened Maes door for her and smirkedAlissa smiled "Hey" she said with a little laugh. She walked over to him "Really? I play quite a few sports; basketball, softball, track, soccer, and gymnastics" she said with a smile. She was wearing an old basketball tee with no sleeves and a sports bra under it. She grabbed a basketball and started to dribble

"So you think you can beat me huh?" Logan joked as he stole the basketball back from Alissa and shot it from the three point line, and making it in.

"You're a real gentlemen, I hope you know that," Mae said stepping out of the car. "If I didn't know any better, I'd think that this was more of a date." She smiled and touched his arm. Big Apple didn't look too busy, and that was a good thing.

Alissa turned around and walked up to Logan "Show Off" she said jokingly she run for the rebound. She threw the ball up into the air, caught it, and went up for the layup, She made it held the ball in her arms. She walked to Logan and looked at him then ran to the half court line she threw the ball to Logan and ran by him for the assist

Mason smiled "Thank you" he said. He looked at her and smiled "I have no idea how this will turn out; so I can't tell you if this a date or not" he said as he opened the door for her and walked in after her
