  Outfit: Nowadays, after losing his shinki, Akime, Nagi wears nothing special. A black undershirt paired with an off-white pullover, cargo pants, and a pair of hiking boots. He’ll often be seen carrying a large traveler’s backpack which includes camping supplies, food, necessities, holy water bottle, etc. A baseball cap is occasionally worn in order to hide his features. Nagi likes to keep up with modern times since he’s often interacting with humans.
  
  Appearance: See picture. One thing to notice about his appearance is that he often has a lazy look about him. Also, his hair is almost always messy with a windblown appearance because of the wind spirits he travels with.
  
  Location in where you live: Nagi is a traveling god and therefore does not like to stay at one place for very long. He lives wherever his feet takes him, but will occasionally stop to rest at the wayside shrines/statues dedicated to him along the roadside. His statues in the near shore are often dusty and overgrown with moss, since there isn’t anyone to take care of them. People who pray at his shrine don’t often stay for long(being travelers and all).

  Story or tale of which you are known for: As the patron God of travelers, Nagi has various stories of helping adventurers and explorers find their way home. However, the most famous of his stories—the one many believe was the start of Nagi’s legacy as the Wandering God—was his involvement withMatsuo Bashou, the most famous poet during the Edo period.
  
  Matuso was a human with extraordinary spiritual powers, allowing him to see phantoms, Gods, ghosts, etc. As a result, Matsuo was often attacked by phantoms. Despite his rise to fame, the poet fell into depression that that no amount of meditation could cure. After a string of unfortunate incidences—phantom caused—Matsuo traveled alone on a suicidal journey down the Edo Five Routes, which during medieval Japan was considered extremely dangerous.
  
  Along the way, Matsuo met the God Nagi. Nagi pitied the human who was very close to turning into a phantom. Using one of his shinki, Nagi freed Matsuo of the phantom possessing him. However, because of Matsuo’s spiritual powers, the same thing might happen again and again. Therefore Nagi traveled with Matuso, ensuring the man’s safe journey. The journey was a memorable experience for Nagi, involving various phantoms, prostitutes (possessed by phantoms), and even a crazed witch living on Mt Fuji. Though what surprised Nagi was how much he enjoyed conversing with Matsuo Bashou who was quite intellectually gifted for his time period.
  
  Having grown attached to the human, Nagi chose to accompany Matsuo on all of his literary journeys as Kawai Sora, Matsuo’s apprentice. The fact that he donned a human guise in order to travel with and protect Matsuo Basho caused rumors to spread in Takama-ga-hara about the possible relationship between Nagi and the human poet. Nagi neither confirmed nor denied the rumors. However, after Matsuo’s death in 1694, Nagi chose to wander the near shore as a traveler instead of returning to heaven.

  • Matsuo and Nagi did share an intimate relationship, but the poet was not the reason Nagi became a wandering god.
  • Nagi had a slight crush on Otohime who comforted him when he lost most of his shinkis.
  • Nagi’s fight with Ryujin had to do with the human sailors he’d been protecting. A thief who had stolen one of Ryuujin’s jewels had stowed away on a ship heading towards America. Ryuujin, in his rage, wanted to sink the entire ship of innocent passengers with the culprit.

  • That he was unable to comfort Matsuo in his final moments because he’d been busy with his duties as a travel god.
  • Being unable to protect his regalias who risked their lives to save him from Ryujin’s wrath.
  
  History:
  
  Nagi was born from the wishes of a small group of nomads who were traveling the Asian continent in search of a home. The land was unknown to them. They were lost and unsure of which direction to head so they prayed to the wind for guidance. Over and over again they called for ‘Nagi’ to lead them, the breeze carrying their voices. Thus Nagi came into existence. Born with an extremely good sense of direction and instincts regarding the land/nature, Nagi was able to fit the role of the guide they needed.
  
  
  
  
  For decades, Nagi traveled with the nomads, granting their requests and protecting them from harm. He gathered various regalias along the way in order to do so. Nagi’s first shinki,Harume, became wings that made him fast, allowed him to fly, and gave him feathers which could be as sharp as blades when necessary. His second shinki, Natsume, became his horns, which allowed him to see in all directions. His third shinki ,Akime, became his clothing, which acted as his armor. Finally, Nagi’s fourth shinki, Fuyume, became a pair of hooped earrings, which allowed him to hear conversations from miles away.
  
  Nagi enjoyed helping the nomads, not just because it was his duty, but because he grew to love them and wanted to make them happy. However, after the nomads managed to settle in Japan, Nagi’s guidance was no longer needed. Gradually, the prayers stopped coming. Nagi knew it was only a matter of time until he was completely forgotten since no shrine of him was built by the nomads and any knowledge of Nagi was spread through word of mouth. Not wanting to disappear, Nagi began granting the wishes of others besides the nomads who created him.
  
  Nagi befriended the local japanese gods and—after helping many lost travelers find their way home— managed to establish himself as one of the travel gods. Several shrines and statues of him were built along the roads, earning him a place in Takama-ga-hara. For a period of time, Nagi lived in Heaven and worked with various Dosojin deities to protect roads, keeping travelers safe. Having a stable home allowed him to take in more shinkis and expand his regalia family. This lasted for centuries, until the late 17th century(see story Nagi is known for), when Nagi left his home in heaven begin traveling once again.
  
  At some point during his travels, Nagi had a skirmish with Ryujin which resulted in the death of most of his regalias. Nagi might have died if not for the intervention of Otohime. The two Gods managed to settle their differences, but since then Nagi has been reluctant to accept any new regalias for fear of losing them all again. He currently travels with one of his two remaining shinkis, Hiname.

  Positive traits.
  
  Nagi is a peace-loving god. He dislikes fighting and would go out of his way to avoid it if he could. Nagi rarely gets angry. In fact, some might even call Nagi pushover, since he doesn’t often fight back when insulted. However, he does have a moral standard he lives by, and will fight if he feels injustice is being done. Nagi isn’t a combat-oriented god, but can pack quite a punch when angered—as Ryujin found out.
  
  Nagi is generally polite with everyone he meets, which makes him appear gentle and calm, though he does have a playful side when dealing with friends. He is also a kind-hearted god, willing to help those who he sees in need. Nagi is prone to honesty. As a God, Nagi does keep secrets, but he never lies. If he doesn’t want to say something, he will simply clam up or tell the person outright that they don’t need to know—or that it’s not their business. Finally, Nagi is very free spirited, open-minded, and adventurous. He likes trying new things and enjoys listening to opinions different from his own.
  
  Negative traits.
  
  Mentioned before, but Nagi is a pushover. He allows his shinkis to walk all over him and would probably spoil them rotten--if it weren’t for the fact that his shinkis are generally pure spirits and rarely blighted him. He hates punishing his regalias and the one time he did, he cried so much that the shinki felt guilty even though all she did was kick a tree in anger. He’s also lazy, regarding things he doesn’t like to do, and can be quite frivolous and whimsical. If he gets bored of something, Nagi will just leave, no questions asked. For example, when he up and left his house in Heaven to once again travel the near shore, Nagi did so without any consideration towards his shinkis. This makes Nagi also somewhat selfish, though this arguable as he generally goes out of his way to help humans in need. His Shinkis often tell him he is too carefree.

  Followers/Strength: His followers have been dwindling since he lost his combat regalias and is no longer able to perform his duties to protect the roads from phantoms. In addition, modernization and the spread of aetheism, which had become popular among the younger generation, add to his declining power from his glory days. Though he still hears the wishes from the lost and helps guide them home, since he's a god, he doesn't remain long in their memories. Not to say that all of his encounters are fruitless. Some remember his name and become a follower, though to be honset, the ones that actually worship him are few and far in between since he treats them more as friends than followers. He also doesn't stay with them for very long. His followers mainly comprise of the elderly descendants of the nomads, who still remember him as a Travel God and the children that have been told an obscure, age old proverb: "When you find yourself lost, don't wander around blindly. Wait for Nagi." Some of the more experienced and cautious adventurers, sailors, explorers, etc, may offer Nagi their prayers before leaving on journey as well since he did make his way to literature thanks to Matsuo's poems and was decently well-known in his glory days.
  
  Strength-wise, Nagi isn't a combat god, but he doesn't lack in terms of spiritual powers. He also has the protection of the wind since he is a minor wind diety (not on the level of Fuujin) and can travel relatively fast even without his wings (gets carried by the wind).

Kokoro (and the god that uses her) is able to control the size, shape, and density of her regalia form. She can stretch out to several yards and grab things, become hard as iron and block attacks, or become thin as a blade and slice through steel. However there are a few limits...

1) Can not become complex mechanisms, like cars or guns.
2) Can not separate pieces from herself. So can not become a projectile weapon.
3) Can not extend more than about ten feet from her god

At first glance, Kokoro can come across as a sarcastic bitch. She gets angry far too easily and always seems to expect the worst. She is very blunt and seems to have an insult for everyone she meets, though they usually fall under the category of bitch, asshole, idiot, or nerd. Once you get under the surface though, she is a kind hearted person who is always concerned about the safety and well being of others. She can't pass up the opportunity to help others, though she will complain about it the entire time.

To say that she hates the gods would not be too far a stretch. She feels that the gods are not active enough in their hunting of the Ayakashi. If they were, the man she saw last month would not have listened to the phantoms and would not have killed himself. The spirit she tried to save the other day would not have been devoured by the monsters. That her family would not have been attacked, because that man was being influenced by the phantoms.

Biography:

"I remember... a few things about my past, more than most spirits from what I understand, and I'm not eager to learn more. I used to be, but... I've seen first hand what happens when a spirit remembers too much. Let me tell you, it's f***ing terrifying. Nothing is worth that. Nothing.

In the end though, it doesn't really matter what my history is. The past is the past. It doesn't affect my now. All that matters is that I died protecting my loved ones, and I'm damn proud of that."

How long did she wander? A spirit, unaware that it was no longer alive, following the same routine? Had it been a few days? A few months? She had no idea, but one day it just clicked. She was dead. How? When had it happened? What about Yuko and her mother? Were they safe? What was her name? What kind of a person had she been? She needed to know.

She began searching for her past. Visiting places she remembered, looking for hints of her mother and sister. She came close. She found her mother's workplace. The school her sister was going to. The neighborhood they lived on. But as she walked down the street to the house that she would find her family in, the house where she would find the truth, fate intervened.

She watched as a spirit learned their name and turned into a monster right in front of her. Realizing that she risked the same thing happening to her if she continued, she ran away and stopped digging into her own past. Over the next several weeks she chose the name Kokoro for herself and began to learn about this world she now lived in, the correlation between the phantoms and negative emotions, and the gods. Feeling that the gods were not doing a good enough job hunting the phantoms, Kokoro took it upon herself to protect people from them, attacking small ones that whisper in the ears of the living and drawing off the larger ones that harass other spirits. She's even set up a safe house for wandering spirits recently, but how long is it going to last?

Born to a small family in the center of Kyoto, the first half of her life was what you might call perfect. Both her parents, her father Ryota and her mother Masuyo, worked well paying jobs and Kokoro had everything she could ever have wanted. She had friends, toys, pets, cute clothes, and the best schooling money could buy. When her little sister Yuko was born, it was the best thing that could ever have happened. Rather than seeing the baby as a rival, something that would steal her toys and the already scarce attention of her parents, Kokoro looked at her and saw a small, defenseless child in need of love. The little girl swore to the gods that she would protect her new little sister. Sadly fate would give her a chance to keep her promise not long after she turned ten.

Her father's business failed and slowly began to fall into bankruptcy. Her mother began working harder and staying at work later while Ryota began coming home drunk every day. One night Yuko accidentally broke a vase and their father began to beat her in a drunken rage. Without thinking, Kokoro leapt on him, trying to pull him off her little sister. It worked and the man turned on her instead.

Kokoro told her mother that she had gotten in a fight with another kid at school. She could have told her mother what happened. She really could have. The thought had crossed her mind. But Kokoro still loved her father and feared what would happen if she told on him. As weeks went by and the incident repeated itself, she realized that she would need to go to greater measures to protect Yuko. She began swearing around her father, breaking things around the house, actually getting into fights at school, and intentionally failing tests, anything to draw his anger. This went on for three years before her mother discovered what was happening.

Horrified, Masuyo divorced Ryota and took the girls to the far end of the city. Their quality of life dropped significantly as Masuyo was now a single mom trying to raise a family, but the girls didn't mind. Yuko was safe and Kokoro no longer had to play the role of the child delinquent. She turned her attention back to academics, started making friends again, and began passing school with flying colors. She graduated high school a year early and began studying criminal law at Kokugakuin University, to prepare for a career in the police force.

During her second semester at college, Kokoro found the door to her home open and heard screams inside. Rushing in, she found her mother unconscious in the kitchen and her father standing over Yuko, viciously beating her. Ryota had found them. He had become obsessed with Masuyo and blamed the girls for destroying their relationship. And he had come to fix that.

Kokoro charged him in an attempt to protect her sister and during the struggle Ryota manage to get a hold of a kitchen knife and stabbed it into her gut. Yuko screamed and he turned on her, wrapped his hand around her neck, and began to choke her, fully intending on killing her. In a blind rage, Kokoro tore the knife out of her stomach and leapt onto her father's back, stabbing the knife down. The knife pierced his heart, killing him nearly instantly.

Kokoro died ten minutes later in the arms of the ones she loved.

Kokoro is motivated primarily by three things. 1) Anger. The more pissed off she gets the harder she works. 2) She is fairly competitive. Give her a challenge and she will have a hard time saying no. 3) Above all else, she is driven by a need to protect others. If she sees or hears someone in need of help, she will rush to their aid, regardless of her own safety.

"Don't tell anyone, but when I was younger I always loved the stories of knights and princesses. But I never wanted to be the princess. No no. I wasn't going no damn damsel in distress. I wanted to be a knight. I was going to be the f***ing hero, fighting evil, protecting the weak, chosen of the gods. Hell, I was probably the only kid in the city who knew exactly what she wanted to be when I grew up. I was going to be a cop.

Even after I grew too old for fairy tales, stopped seeing the world in black and white, and even stopped believing in the gods, my dream to be a cop never changed. Even now that I'm dead, I suppose that hasn't changed. I just want to protect people."​

Hiro is highly loyal and gracious to his master. She gave him a second chance, a chance at a new life after his unfortunate death. While he might butt heads with her from time to time, his heart truly is in the right place.

Personality:

Hiro is typically a cynical person at people he doesn't know, that isn't his only side though. He is a sweet person underneath his prickly appearance. He is a very loyal ally an wouldn't hesitate to put his life on the line for someone he cares about. He doesn't sugar coat things and bluntly states it and it comes out to make him appear like a snarky little shit. He doesn't deem himself as a pessimist or an optimist, he calls himself a realist. He looks on the logical and realistic side of things and draws from that. His mind has a tendency to wander when he is bored and that is when his best ideas happen.

He can be very playful and tease people, he finds amusement in their reactions when they found out they've been had. He is a perfectionist and everything he does has to be perfect or he'll get fussy about it. Some would say it was a flaw, but he doesn't see it that way. He is stubborn and when he is set out for something he wont give up no matter what. He normally has to be pulled down and talked sense into. Since most of the time things he set out to do can be outrageous. In a way Hiro is still a typical teenage boy. At least he has his head on right then most of them.

Biography:

Hiro wasn't born with a silver spoon in his mouth, or even to a family who wanted him. In fact he was placed in the care of the local orphanage in Tokyo. His treatment there wasn't all that bad, it wasn't like it was out of Annie or something. He started showing his trouble making streak when he was seven, this caused him to look unappealing to potential adoptive parents. The one thing he did find comfort in was learning how to cook by one of the nicer staff there. That's when he learned he had a passion for cooking. One day around the day of his tenth birthday a young couple who looked like they were very high class came to the orphanage. Surprisingly to everyone they were interested in Hiro, they wanted to adopt him out of all the children. When he arrived to his new home, a mansion to his excitement.

Things were okay for the first few weeks and then the couple seemed too busy for him. He heard from one of the maids that they only adopted him for appearances. The discouraged Hiro decided to isolate himself and only focused on his studies and had big dreams to open his own restaurant. It came to be that his new "parents" had debt with the Yakuza and they weren't paying them. The now teen woke up to two men kicking down his bedroom door. They had come to kill everyone in the mansion, this included Hiro. The last thing he saw was the bullet flying straight for him.   Backstory: Shizuya was born from the wishes of humans who wanted to change their fate. Being that there were many of them calling out to her, she already had an abundance of requests. She quickly established a following.
  Any true fortune teller is granted the gift by Shizuya, and as such any prophecy ever spoken or written about comes from her.
  She was never the kind of goddess to keep more than too many regalias at a time. She does have a habit of allowing strays to stay in her shrine, although she never actually names them. She seems to have a habit of temporarily naming regalias that have never been in the service to a god before only to help them find a different god to serve before releasing their names. She has done this many times, and there are plenty of Shinki in the service of other Kamis that were originally found by her.
  When Shizuya first earned her place in Takama-ga-hara, a few offhanded comments made for a lifelong rivalry with Hachiman, which eventually cost her the life of her favorite Regalia, Koruen. Koruen took the form of two, long golden ribbons attached to two seperate wand like sticks, one for each hand. If necessary they could shift to become just as sharp as any blade, while remaining as flexible as a ribbon ought to be.
  Koruen lost her life only 3 years ago; thus making the wound rather fresh. Ever since Koruen’s death, Shizuya has avoided Hachiman like the plague, despite his several attempts to apologize, (as it was never his intent to kill Koruen.) She is more reclusive then she used to be, and started to dislike the other gods. Considering she was friends with a few of her fellow gods and allies with others, her sudden unwillingness to be around her former them was felt heavily.
  About two years ago, she found Hiro and named him Yuuken. She originally intended to release him after finding another god to take him in, but she grew fond of him. He reminded her a bit of herself. She ended up retaining him as her Regalia due to this.

Personality: Despite being a god of training and asceticism, Kuri has a terrible lazy streak a mile wide. He is prone to sleeping in, overeating, and doing nothing for days on end. He rarely lives up to his godly duties beyond occasionally delivering a blessing to the students who follow his teachings, and only if they catch him in a good mood. He has very little tact and is generally not well liked by the other gods, who view him as a failure and a waste of space. In truth, he doesn't want to be stuck like this forever, but a quirk in his history has cursed him with endless tiredness.

Treatment of Regalia: If he had any, Kuri would treat them similarly to a younger sibling. Sometimes doting on them, sometimes bossing them around. More than anything he is afraid that his powers will hurt them while they're in weapon form. This and his lethargy has prevented him from seeking out a single regalia since he was awakened.

History: Kurikara, though he appears worthless on the surface, was not always the layabout he is today. Kurikara came to relevance with the arrival of Buddhism in Japan, as a lesser deity associated with the Bodhisattva Fudo-Myo-O. During that period, Kuri served his master as a great shape-shifting dragon, who Fudo could wield as a flaming sword to cut away desires and impurity. However, as time passed on, Kurikara became the subject of his own group of worshipers, while the Buddhist figure he had once served faded into the background. Now his own boss, Kurikara took to overseeing his new followers, who upheld his abilities as the key to ascetic training. He guided them as they practiced fighting with their swords, helped them crush their desires, and seek out the truth in all things. The secluded nature of his worship kept him from stepping on the toes of most other gods, and he never had much reason to interact with others. Though he did come to blows with one or two gods occasionally when the spirit of a particularly righteous young warrior was up for grabs to become a regalia. He mostly avoided meeting with other gods, as any large gathering could invite Bishamonten, a god with whom he had a good number of disputes with. In spite of his conflicts, Kurikara enjoyed a good many years of worship by ascetic swordsmen across the country. That was until a crackdown by the Shogun banned his worship and drove him to near extinction. As a result of his greatly diminished worship, Kurikara was forced to slumber in his hidden shrines for centuries, barely subsisting on a few believers. It would not be until after the Second World War that his worship was deregulated and he woke up to a very different world. Still growing accustomed to being awake again, Kurikara half-heartedly resumed his duties in a Tokyo dojo where he sometimes helps the trainees. Mostly he lives in a small attic room where he watches TV, eats junk food, and sleeps. His antisocial nature has made him a bit of a problem amongst other gods, who insist that he must pull his own weight again.

Yuri tends to put up a rude, confident front. Much like an adolescent teenager, her immature behaviour tends to be reckless, foul-mouthed, and doesn’t think of the consequences. Behind her false cover, she’s sensitive and much more girly, and can be very shy admitting her actual thoughts and emotions.

Yuri isn’t sure how long she’s been wondering as a spirit. She tends to keep away from crowded streets and likes being in warm places. She found out that people doesn’t notice her, not in a way where she’s just a stranger passing by, but they don’t see her at all. Her presence doesn’t exist in their world. With that revelation, she fears being alone till she meets her demise-whatever it may be since she’s already dead. Pushing her insecurities aside, she roamed around a small town, and tends to hang out around any source of heat, or around bakeries and dessert shops, always drooling on their window, displaying their array of cute sweets and pastries. Yuri soon befriended some small spirits, like her, they didn’t know where they came from. The spirits shared stories of phantoms, and how some can turn into the monsters. She also learned about gods and their regalia. Intrigued, she decided to find one that will treat her well.

Yuri was abandoned in front of an orphanage in the outskirts of Tokyo. The orphanage housed many boys and she was bullied and teased often by them. Growing up, she became a tomboy, hiding her interest for ‘girly’ things like sweets and cute clothes. She had to learn how to protect herself, being tough and starting fights on the streets. She usually loses and ends up bruised and bleeding and in the police station. Yuri slowly but surely got better at street fighting, and involving herself with the yakuza. Finding out, the orphanage didn’t want to shelter her any longer. She wasn’t really respected in the group because of her gender. She proved otherwise with her agility and combat skills. But when ganged upon, she was helpless. Beating her unconscious, they chucked her body into a industry meat freezer. Broken, bruised and freezing, she couldn’t find the energy to lift herself off the cold floor. Her last conscious thoughts were, “I don’t want to die.”

Personality: Aznia is generally polite and somber befitting the less than cheery sphere she inhabits, she is capable of being both cold and warm as she judges the need be. She really does care for humans even if she is the one to take their soul to the under world. Aznia has decided to embrace technology and the modern means of spreading stories, instead of simply getting a worshiper she woudl rather that she is wide known before really trying to recruit. Aznia is actually a bit of a softy though she is good at hiding it, she will often give into sob stories and has a very weak spot for children and will be far more openly kind to them, while she will treat adults coldly and distantly for the most part. Wen talking to other older gods Aznia retains a polite and cold front no matter what they say or how they disrespect her knowing getting mad will only make things worse.

History: Aznia started her life not as a god but as a malicious spirit that would possess and drive people to take their own lives, a shinigami, but as human's culture changed so did she. she only became a god after the second world war when the culture of japan imagined a grim reaper like figure as assigned them the already used name of shinigami. It was something of a strange transition for Aznia but she decided to take it where others decided to remain dark spirits haunting hidden locations.

Sadly even after the change to a in her mind more positive force things have not gone well. Humans already had a goddess of the dead and her kind were relegated to minor deities even in popular culture. This has lead to issues with other gods viewing them and her as upstarts or eve false gods for their recent emergence and dark origin. Many are willing to stay minor but Aznai knows that they and more specifically she can be more and has undertaken what she calls viral god marketing. Her tactic is simple her domain is death and people always wish to escape it , thus she gives humans near death a deal a day of life if they spread her name. This has had mixed results she i more of an urban legend than a respected god for this and many use this to make fun of her.

Followers/Strength: I'd say Medium but on the decline. Because while nearly every family has a shrine, single people tend not to and with Japan's low birth and marriage rate the number of people who are trying to make a home instead of a house is slowly declining.

Personality: very kind and generous, playful, very motherly towards everyone, but also super protective and can get really angry if someone hurts her loved ones.
History: Hasuna is almost as old as Japan, created by the wish of a young father who lost his wife to miscarriage complications to help him make a home for his family, however, when he remarried he did not forget her, keeping a shrine in the kitchen, and soon his second wife too was praying at the shrine and then it spread to the rest of the village, and then the rest of Japan. Her first regalia was a small boy that drowned in the nearby river named Yamaguchi (age 5) When he became her regalia he was named Yama or with his surname, Yamaza. As a weapon, he took the form of a Hori Hori a Japanese gardening knife. Recently Yamaza became a blessed regalia when he risked his name to save her when a vent opened up on top of them. She has a medium sized family of regalia (about 5) and has a soft spot for elementary age regalia. She tries to give shelter to anyone she can such as lost souls or the homeless. She often lets strays (of the Shinki variety) sleep in her shrines but so far has never used them.
Strengths/Weaknesses or Flaws: Can be a bit Smothery and Clingy at times but is extremely empathetic and intuitive, oh and she can't stop taking in strays (of the animal variety).

History: Ame was one of the women sacrificed to the evil demon Orochi before Susanoo was able to step in and defeat him. During the battle she revealed herself seeing his will to fight for the one he loved. He took hold of her and named her in turn as she became the legendary sword now known as Kusanagi.

After the battle Susanoo gave her over to Amaterasu as to repay her in her help of slaying the demon. Ame could never forgive the kami for betraying her even though Amaterasu was a good person to her she ran and now has become a Nora offering her help to those she deems worthy.

Veiled Pariah, I love your idea of making your character also be the legendary sword Kusanagi, the only thing that I find a problem with is that she is not a Blessed Weapon, I would think that of all weapon Regalias, that this legendary sword of Japan would be a Blessed Regalia. I would also think that the other two items of the Imperial Regalia of Japan would also be Blessed Regalia. But hey that's just me, it's your character and you can do what you want with it. I just find it odd is all.

I agree however it is stated in the anime as well as the wiki that blessed vessels only become that way by reaching new heights due to their "bond" with their master gods.
If i follow what this states and Ame's back story with Susanoo it could never have happened. As both Susanoo and Amaterasu were unable to be with her long enough to achieve that state.
I can always add her blessed vessel state but if anyone were able to unlock her potential she would not be a Nora.

Although, I was just watching Noragami, and there was this episode in which Kazuma was banished by Bishamon and she didn't remove his name, and he could have become a Nora that way, even though he was a blessed regalia. But like I said earlier it's up to you, just pointing out that it's still possible to be a blessed regalia and become a Nora.

He gets bored easily, and fixes that by finding entertainment in the people around him. Tenjin's regalia especially hated this about him. History

History:
Ressha was born at home, to a well-off family. Growing up, he never knew poverty or lacked any love from his parents. His mother, Aya, was a businesswoman who spent days at a time working, while his father worked at the train station. His home life was average, his school life was average, and if it wasn't for the day his father tried to help him become a more social person by goading him into signing up to try out for the school soccer team, he would have grown up average and boring.

It turned out that he was really good at soccer. Good enough that, nearing the end of his last year of school, he could have gone to any college he wanted with full scholarships. Though, it was jealousy of that short-lived career that drove the team captain to follow him home a few days after graduation and stab him to death in an alleyway. Even as he was bleeding out, the captain blamed him for not getting the offers that he thought he deserved, and for stealing the spotlight.

It was Tsuyu who first found him wandering around Tenjin's shrine as a spirit, and Tenjin only took him in to keep him from being corrupted by phantoms. Keyu was there for two weeks before he annoyed one of the other regalia enough that she stuck Tenjin, which got them both thrown out. He lasted a little longer under Benzaiten, but was still released before he could form any real bonds with her.

Personality: he is a very confrontational male, tending to get into arguments about small things... although with that in mind he is easily able to stop an argument when he realises he was wrong and states that he stands corrected. other than that he is a very introverted male. letting his thoughts come out as words and actions without realising people are around or how humiliating that can be. he has a certain obsession with people remembering him as he would not want to disappear, asking people to memorise his name.

History: Ryth is a very young God. born in a day and age where people are not simply oppressed by people above them which can be solved through violence but oppressed about their society. The amount of time and effort it takes to survive, the amount of effort it takes to keep up with friends and how little time that leaves them for themselves. This has culminated with a severe increase in errant phantoms and storms and so a prayer rang out, wanting a reprieve from this relentless haze and as it was most seen in japan he was born there... well not him persay. Ever since the prayers grew strong enough young gods have been wandering around, drawn naturally to storms and devoured before they could learn anything, leading to a new god being born and the cycle continuing... until a nora came upon Ryth, they took him under their wing and raised him to be the god he was meant to be. that is until recently as he learned about the true nature of a nora, and being immature, he took his name from the nora and left, wanting a regalia to call his own without being owned by any other god.

Strengths/Weaknesses or Flaws: his only strength really is his ability to fight. he was born to fight the phantoms and storms of the world and under the guidance of his regalia he was able to refine it greatly, now easily able to walk into a storm with a capable regalia and survive... however this means that in almost every other aspect he is lacking, his social skills suck, which has cost him many payments from human's requests, he is still lacking in much knowledge about the world, only knowing basic use of the internet and other devices.

Relationship: Kaede and Miyumi (or Miyu, as she was often called) had the typical kami/regalia relationship, but it was deeper than most. As Kaede's only regalia, Miyumi was her only true friend. It was a bit informal, but nonetheless, Miyumi faithfully served her for all the years they were together.

Personality and History​

Personality: Ever since she died, Miyumi has had a strange fascination with medieval Europe. Maybe it has to do with the fact that it was around that time period when she herself died, or maybe it's from the strange culture and older-styled clothing. But as a result of this fascination, she wears fashions that resemble that time period (in a way). Her style of speaking also tends to err on the side of medieval...ish. But she enjoys teasing others and insulting them in a way that flusters them. Retorts are also her specialty.

Underneath her rough and rather mean exterior, Miyumi harbors an intense loyalty toward her former master, even though she's gone. Though she's willing to show loyalty to a new master, she still misses the kami who named her and gave her a second life. She shows great respect to the kami in general, respecting their duties to slay the phantoms of the world. Even though she herself is full of some burning negative emotions, the phantoms have yet to touch her. She has been called upon every now and then to perform ablutions, but it's only because she feels pity for the kami those dark regalia serve.

Above all else, Miyumi is unselfish. Though her frequent insults show otherwise, she hasn't thought of herself in centuries. Even though her apathetic nature seems to belittle this (as she doesn't often feel most emotions or express them), she has an incredible sympathy for those around her, even if they don't require it. Some have deemed it a "love of life," but really, it's a "love of afterlife."

History (As A Regalia): Miyumi's first memory is of the day Kaede formed a contract with her. She bowed to her master and told her she'd stay by her side forever. For centuries, the two worked together in protecting nature and the humans who also loved it. Miyumi was Kaede's only Regalia, and so they had a different relationship than those who had multiple Regalia. To Miyumi's chagrin, Kaede had no shrine and no known followers. She simply protected the humans out of love for them. This worried Miyumi, for Kaede simply had no energy to serve those who didn't recognize her or even know of her existence.

All too soon, Kaede grew weak. Worried for Miyumi, she pretended that she was fading away, releasing Miyumi from service before she could have a say in it. In reality, Kaede wanted Miyumi to live a completely full afterlife, and so she allowed her to move on. Thinking her master gone or dead (interesting, since they can't die...?), Miyumi wandered for years, searching for someone else to serve. Anyone who will take her.

But she refuses to serve multiple gods and become a Nora. Only one will do.
Sealed Memories: Akari Ikeda had the unfortunate life of one with a terminal illness. Though she was revered as beautiful and kind, she was unable to go outside. She spent her entire life shut up in her room, drawing or taking care of her pet dog. For the most part, she was disinterested with anything outside of her bubble, so when she died, she didn't mind too much. She certainly didn't expect a second life after her first one.
Biggest Fear: Losing another kami master.

  Deity: Sukia (Goddess-In-Training.) (Bound by Partnership, but treats her as a "Friend" instead of a "Goddess", which she allows.)
  Notable Features:
  Carries a Concealed Shotgun, a Pipe Wrench lined with Silver, and a Spellbook that contains numerous Chants and Spells related to the Spirit World. The book was a gift from his father, who used to hunt Paranormal Creatures from their world. Taking up arms, he was trained to handle the Paranormal ever since he was four years old, and trained to use a gun at the age of 6.
  
  Despite the constant harsh treatment from his father, and the dangers around every corner of his world, he remained as positive as he could be, and found ways to smile in even the darkest of circumstances... especially when he learned that he was born Cursed.
  
  Rather than turn into a weapon, or a "Shinki Form", Jason merely "Astral Projects" at will, projecting his spirit from his body, granting him more power and potential than his "Mortal Form". However, if his body is destroyed, then his spirit is teleported back into his body, while his Curse, the "Nox Eternus", "Awakens" him in a random shrine within Japan.

  An irreversible curse of unknown origin. Said to bind those inflicted with it to the Mortal Realm, hinder their growth process, and force them to remain "Alive", even after suffering fatal wounds. Whenever those bound with the Nox Eternus are "Killed", their bodies and personal belongings vanish, and are moved to a random point in the world, where their bodies are restructured, and their memories saved, though fuzzy for the next 24 hours, as if they were just waking up from a long dream.
  
  However, his presence on this world seemed to have altered the curse a bit, forcing him to "Awaken" in a random shrine within Japan each time he dies.
  
  With the curse not being from this world, it is impossible for even the gods to "Correct" it, seeing how he comes from an alternate world, and a separate time, from this one.

  Spirit Form - Whenever Jason enters "Spirit Form", his body falls into a comatose state, while his spirit Astral-Projects. While in Spirit Form, he's a lot more powerful, and capable of taking more hits from an opponent. Furthermore, his weapons, ever since his arrival in this world, possess "Spirits" of their own, allowing him to use them while in Spirit Form.
  
  High Intelligence - He may be new to this world, but when it comes to Problem Solving of the Logical Kind, Jason can usually find an answer within seconds.
  
  Familiar with the Paranormal - When it comes to things that go bump in the night, Jason is unfazed. Occasionally, he can even be playful about it. When it's a threat, though, then the odds are, he might have some ammo for it in his trusty backpack or his shotgun. If all else fails, though, he's got a Silver Wrench and a Spellbook to deal with it.
  
  Physically Fit - When dealing with Werewolves, Vampires, and other sorts of Undead, with Spirits, Ghosts, Sirens, and Wisps on the side, Jason has kept his body in tip-top shape, allowing him to handle the same kinds of pressure a well-trained Soldier can handle. He even encountered a few gods in his own world a few times, while one of them even unlocked his "Spiritual Powers", allowing him to further exceed Human Levels of Fitness when in dire circumstances... but that is a tale for another time...
  
  Wide-Ranged Arsenal - Jason's backpack contains several objects useful for dealing with major threats from his world... Spirits and Demons, included! And when all else fails, his Spirit Form can make his equipment even more powerful than their Physical Forms as well!

  Socially Awkward - His years of training in combat against the Paranormal Threats have left him with a bit of a "Social Awkwardness" towards regular people. And the fact that he's not even from this Earth, this Country, and this timeline, only further complicates that fact.
  
  Mortal - He may be strong, and enhanced in several ways, but in the end, he's still Human. This means that, physically, he can't top the gods at raw power, and would have to rely more on his equipment, intelligence, and Spirit Form to take one down, should a situation like that even come to be.
  
  Nox Eternus Curse - Though Mortal, he also has a few minor features of "Immortality", such as his Curse, the "Nox Eternus"; "Nox" meaning "Death", and "Eternus" meaning "Eternity". Neither Heaven nor Hell can let one branded with the curse cross over, meaning he's bound to the Mortal Realm forever. If killed, his body is reincarnated in a remote location far from where he died... and in this world, those places would either be Old Shrines or Isolated Areas in Japan. The disadvantage of this, however, is that he can't start a family, knowing that he'd watch them all perish while he forever looks like he's in his early thirties!
  
  Foreigner - He's from the USA, and has never studied Japanese. While here in Japan, he may not even be able to read most of what the signs say, let alone speak their native tongue without a guide of some sort to help him out.

  Sukia ♀ - Best Friend (Eventually Love Interest) - Spiritual Guide - Goddess-In-Training - "Master?"
  

  While traveling in this world's Japan, Jason came across a strange Fox Spirit that, upon introducing herself as "Sukia", claimed to be a "Goddess-in-Training". Curious about this new world, and without a guide, Jason made an agreement to try and help her out with her problems, if in exchange, she could help him out with his own problems... like figuring out "where he is", "why he's even there", and "what he can do to help whatever Paranormal Situations are going on in this place". Confused by his last choice of words, but being offered a "Potential Follower", she agreed to his terms after seeing his skills in battle against Demons and Spirits.
  
  She would eventually develop close feelings for him, because of his willingness to help others in need, despite him being Mortal, his Bravery whenever encountering huge threats, and even his annoyingly charming playful attitude, but may not ever be able to make her "Human Form" look... well... "Human". That, mixed in with her shy behavior, would keep her from declaring said feelings for him when the opportunities arise.
  
  That, plus his playful demeanor tends to throw her off from time to time.

  Please be aware that I've never actually seen "NORIGAMI", but plan to at some point, when I have enough free time to do so. The trailers look very interesting!
  
  This means that my knowledge of the series may be "Off" by a few things.
  
  However, from what I could gather, it's about Gods and Dead Human Spirits that turn into their weapons, or their "Shinki"/"Blessed Regalias", by giving them a name and saying it, while also turning the Humans back into their Human Forms by saying their Human Names? And when the Human becomes a "Shinki", the Gods "Claim" them, and give them new First Names and Last Names, First being their "Human" Names, and the last ones being their "Weapon" Names?
  
  It kinda reminds me of "Soul Eater" when I think about it... does it kinda work similar to that?

  It's been an odd couple of days for Jason Walker, Paranormal Hunter of Mississippi, North America.
  
  What started as a simple phone call to help a damsel in distress against a Demon, ended in a sudden flash of light, followed by a painless blackout.
  
  He rubs the blurring sensation from his eyes as, yet again, the all-too-familiar feeling of "Awakening" fills his head. However, something immediately feels off about it, this time.
  
  For starters, the "Nox Eternus" would make him recall how he died before, just in a hazy way... so why then, can't he remember what killed him this time?! Could it mean that he wasn't necessarily killed, but instead, summoned here? If so, then how, and more importantly, by who?!
  
  He shakes the dizziness from his head and sits back up to get a better view of his surroundings.
  
  Beautiful trees, with a mixture of Green and Pink Leaves adorning their branches, surround him, while several lovely flowers of varying types are spread across the landscape.
  
  It's late at night... but his watch is wrong! According to it, it's supposed to be 1:30 in the afternoon, but when he pulls out his phone, it says it's 10:30 at night!
  
  Even more of a surprise, though, is that his phone's service is out! This he also knows isn't normal, since he could recall paying the bill just a week ago, and it was working then!
  
  "Hello?" he asks in English, standing up completely to get a better view of the park.
  
  His words are met with silence... not only an odd thing, but a potential sign of danger.
  
  He's in a park, but there's just that... absolutely no sounds... including sounds from the crickets and the birds!
  
  That is, until he hears a scream coming from the nearby bushes further ahead!
  
  Instinctively, he looks around the spot where he was "Awoken". Thankfully, he at least could recognize his Hiking Bag, his Shotgun, his Silver-Lined Pipe Wrench, and his trusty book, with the latter being neatly tucked into the side pocket of his Hiking Bag. The other items, however, are lying on the ground around the backpack.
  
  "Huh... looks like whatever brought me here knew that I'd need these... guess I better get this over with, then..." he says to himself, before slipping his backpack on, grabbing his weaponry, holstering his unloaded Shotgun, and then finally, sneaking over towards the bushes to get a peek at what, in his mind, must be the one that called him here in the first place...

  Sukia, one of the youngest Goddesses-In-Training, was merely out for a stroll in the park, when what would show up, but a large purple figure clad in a misty cloak, wielding a pair of daggers, with glowing red eyes... no doubt about it... it was a Demon!
  
  "Come closer, little one... I will make it quick and painless!" it whispered in a hushed voice, before drifting towards her.
  
  "I-I'm a Goddess-In-Training, y-you vile beast! And I will... I will not be fooled by your... b-by your..." she tried to put on a brave face, but the closer the creature got, the more she was tempted to scream and hide.
  
  Needless to say, once the Demon grinned maliciously at her, revealing its bloodied fangs, she was at least able to nail the screaming part right.
  
  She was too nervous to switch into her Kitsune Form, and she couldn't turn herself into a mist to evade him.
  
  And so her eyes closed shut, she fell to the ground, and then flinched as the Demon now stood just a few meters away from her, breaking the distance; its razor-sharp blades drawn, and ready to strike!

Justin93Daniels I'm sorry but I can't accept your character. You need to have watched a bit to get a feel for it. It's not your typical paranormal/psychic stuff. And the part that he learns gunner skills at 6y.o. is just ridiculous. And additionally, being able to "astral project" is a rare ability. He's just way too OP for this and has a different vibe from the canon series.

He's sadistic, and a bit mischievous. He enjoys humiliating and making fun of others. He's brutally honest, and can seem like he's a bit rude at times. Don't let that fool you. Katsu was born in an extremely rich family. His family owned many businesses all over Japan--no--all over the world. However, this caused him pain. His parents and family members never really paid any attention to him. It was always him. Alone. Forever. He had a disturbing thought... that maybe... if he did something troubling, his parents and family would finally notice him. From there, he started causing trouble. He had extreme violent behavior that was quite alarming. He got into many fights because of his loud mouth. He would cause mischief twenty four seven. However, his grades were never harmed. He got very good grades, and he was extremely good at math.

Finally, everyone had it. The school had it. The principal.. everyone he knew, was fed up from his behavior. They ended up calling his parents and informing them. His parents noticed him for the first time, but not the good kind. They scolded him and started to hit him for his mischievous acts. They thought he was troubling child. Because of this, he started to become an even more troubling child, thinking that violence and bloodlust solves everything because of his parents.

Growing up, he never really had any friends because of his alarming behavior and gory thoughts. He made some, but they all left him for the same reason.

His father then suddenly left and called for a divorce. He was fed up with Katsu.

He was alarming.

The verbal abuse and violence against him never really ended. Because his father left, his mother started physically abusing him even more. She never really loved him, since he was just an accident. Everyone was wrong. He was just an accident, and caused his parents to get a divorce. His family was crumbling because of him.

One day, when he was in a candy store, trying to buy something for a little boy who kept starring at the candy store windows, the store was attacked. The robbers killed the cashier, and ended up taking everyone in the store hostage, including Katsu. Katsu tried to protect the children the shop (he's chaotic good, guys), by trying to distract the robbers. He used his loud mouth and snarky attitude. When everything was failing, Katsu decided to do something that would kill him one hundred percent.

He decided to grab the guy's gun (the gun that was pointed at Katsu's head) and threw it at the windows, which broke. The children left, and the last thing Katsu remembered has a sharp pain that suddenly attacked his skull, meaning he was shot, and everything went pitch black.
