Fantasy No Mortals (Accepting new characters!)

"Yeah I heard... They're all sort of yelling at this point," Pandora said, watching the chaos from outside. She'd managed to fly out through the rubble. "That 'Captain' has quite the god-complex, huh?" He was just standing around yelling... Not the most efficient battle plan- that arrogance would get him killed. And considering he was Immortal like the rest of them (she was still sort of skeptical about that), he wouldn't know better than anyone else about "God". Studying the fairly sleek cockpit, Pandora looked down at the man Acantha had brought on board.

"Hey, are you sure this guy's okay?" Pan asked. "And are you sure he won't freak out when he wakes up?" She mumbled under her breath.

@Petroshka

"Nope!" Acantha winked at Pandora. "And when he does he shouldnt be able to move with all those lines keeping him on that wall" Acantha soon fiddled with some wires and the ship came to life. "And Shes Alliivvvveeee!!" Acantha quickly jumped in th cockpit seat turning on consoles and various other stoofs.

"Alright, I guess. What are we gonna do if he wakes up?" Pandora asked, still not quite sure if their plan was solid. He was out cold, but she could tell Otrov would wake up soon. "Also, where are we going?" Pan inquired trying not to show her apprehension. She didn't have anything against Acantha, but if the whole Grand Fleet shared the same views on Immortals as that guy in there screaming about God, she wasn't so sure she wanted to be there.

@Petroshka

"Just leave that little detail to me." Acantha turned on the thrusters and the ship started to fly again. She headed for the hole where the explosive dude pretty much blew up. "This little trip turned out pretty interesting hasnt it?"

"Definitely more interesting than I was expecting." Pandora said with a sigh. "Hey, doesn't your whole, um, crew have orders to like, fire on sight when you see Immortals or Demons or something? And isn't this ship a little... obvious?" She hadn't actually heard someone say the 'fire on sight' thing, but given the ordeal happening right now she wouldn't be surprised. "And there was another Demon earlier right..? That one who was just straight up eating people?" Pan thought out loud, remembering the guy who'd gassed the Mortals. That might be a problem later.

@Petroshka

"Um, yeah, something like that. They dont like immortals very much. I for one dont care." Acantha flew the ship near the planet the gravity immortal guy- she forgot his name, alex something? Nevermind. -put all the mortals at. "Although, i am going to take us to the grand fleet right after this." She turned the cockpit seat around to face pandora, her smile as unreadable as always. "And they dont like immortals, at all."

Pan wasn't exactly surprised by that. It was obvious they weren't pirates- the water guy was way too mightier-than-though for that. And Otrov had tried to shoot her.

"Wait... Then what are you? I could tell your energy was different, but if Immortals aren't... welcome in the Grand Fleet, there's no way you could be one." Pan said, reiterating Acantha's statement. "Also, if you don't want to look like a criminal you should probably wake him up or heal him about now. Before we get there and potentially draw even more attention to ourselves, you know." She pointed at Otrov, still unconscious.

@Petroshka

"Do you believe yourself to be the god of gravity? Not even close, a battle between Immortals is a battle of strength. Nothing else." Salegg pushed his hands apart and began to manipulate his waves, forcing them just out of Alex's orbit, condensing them into blades of water which slashed ferociously at his opponent's soul. "Fool, you overestimate your own abilities. Whether it's affected by gravity or not, I still have control over my water, and keeping it near your soul most definately, was not a good idea. It doesn't take much effort to push my energy across such a small distance, even under the pressure of your gravity."

He chuckled at his opponent and folded his arms once again. "There's no chance of peace, and no need for diplomacy. We are a military force, with a purpose. Though you need to worry about such matters, you need only accept your fate. There's nothing to be done about it, Immortal, nothing in this universe can stop the Grand Fleet." Salegg smirked as the energy pushed against him, but he stood his ground. "I know the power of Gravity is stronger than this, Immortal."

The Officer snapped violently from the halfway unconscious state as the serpent recoiled from the damage taken, its head jerking forward as the spikes bored into its rough skin. The attack left a few vulnerable spots where there wasn't any matter anymore to protect the stream of energy that powered the beast, and on its own the snake deployed extra Aether to push out and get rid of the alien object in its stone body. Flash of light and bits of energy poured from the small cracks, serving to make the uncontrolled snake even more furious and attack the Demon from above, bitting into his barrier with wide open jaw. The serpent was being out of control even for the Officer, using so much of her energy that the creature possessed its own will, leaving nothing for her to summon the creatures with and making her highly vulnerable.Despite this, as another round of spikes hit the snake's head and almost stabbed her trough her torso she pressed forward, the fear of dying acting as her moving force. She jumped from the serpent's forehead and ran up to the nuzzle of the beast, stabbing her scythe down into the Demon's barrier, ignoring the side issues and focusing solely on the task given by the Captain and staying alive.

Vincent could tell what Threlm was doing, based on his facial expression. The powder surrounded us both, trapping me inside. To show a false panic, I pulled the sword out of his gut and started slashing at the powder to 'escape', calling bolts of lightning down on it all the while. Right when it seemed he was going to make it all explode, Vincent turned around to face him. In an instant Threlm was decapitated, but Vincent had put no soul force into the attack. It was something he could recover from. The rest of his body, however, was diced into bits and burned into charcoal by the heat radiating from Vincent's sword. "Clever ploy. Kind of. Did you think I would not kill you before you attempted to blow us both up?" Vincent grabbed the hair of Threlm's head and picked it up. Disgusting. The explosion began in ripples, but as it exploded it opened up a hole in the powdery ball. In that instant a bolt of lightning flew through and carried Vincent out of way of the attack, or so he had thought. The blast was stronger than he had planned for, and it ended up catching him on the end. The heat scorched his back, pushing him with such force that it caused him to drop Threlm's head. The landing from the explosion was hard and not very graceful. By the time Vincent was up, he could no longer sense Threlm's presence. That was either because his head was too small of a thing to sense, or because he had died in his own explosion. Vincent sat and began mediation to repair his damaged soul and body. Hopefully this conflict made him stronger, though he was an idiot for showing mercy. He should have ended Threlm when he had the chance. He would not make the same mistake twice.

as the ship comes to orbit in near the planet it seems to be docking. "its simple, i'll just say i 'saved' him from you immortals." Acantha waves her hands up and down. "but, i can let you be in this ship with me, anymore." The ship's door opened. "Im sorry Pandora" she winked to Pan then strings pulled her out of the ship. Acantha swiveled back to the control consoles and started to make her way to the grand fleet. typing a few things in the console. i hope i don't regret saving her like that.

Scanning. . . Scanning. . . Scanning. . .

Target registered.

1500 meters away from a distant rooftop, twin light cannons fired with tremendous velocity, the dazzling golden beams distorting the air around them as they instantaneously closed in on the immortal locked in combat with Salegg. Gravity certainly affects light. . . but not by much. With the black hole being temporarily sealed by Aether, it's a clear shot if the mark doesn't react in time. Of course, with such a massive attack, it would be easy to trace it back if the sniper stayed where she was. Which she didn't, of course. Freya briefly triggered her light-speed dash, re-positioning herself at a different vantage point in a short period of time. From this angle, a few more figures entered her AI's field of view.

Scanning. . .

"Just passing through," Freya relayed back with her comm device. "Hope I'm not interrupting your little party." It seemed to be Acantha who sent out the signal for backup, though she wasn't too familiar with her squadron. Strangely enough, it seemed to fizzle out a little bit towards the end of the message and she had a handful of guesses for why that was. With that, she pulled out a handheld device from her pocket and began thumbing away at a video game as the adaptive AI controlling her Armor Buster cannons tracked down and fired at any hostiles within range - Vincent, Asterot, and Nanautzin. "Awaiting objectives, I guess," Freya murmured, her eyes glowing under the screen. "I'll let my guns lay down some fire in the mean time."

Nanautzin had been quite busy handling the giant serpent made of earth and because of that hadn't been able to go after his true opponent the extremely powerful man who seems so sure he can kill everyone here. It would seem he would need to get rid of this scythe user before he could get to to that powerful soul he would need to get rid of this woman. The immortal herself seemed to have exhausted herself summoning the massive serpent. So all of her power went to this serpent. Nanautzin jumped onto the serpent and thrust his hands into the serpent and poured his energy into it. Slowly the viral energy took root inside the serpent so that even if he was forced to serpent from the elemental monster it's death would only be a matter of time.

"No." Asterot used his spikes as a medium to inject a large amount of parasitic plants into the snake, hopefully draining it of some of it's energy. He turned towards the fake immortal that was trying to kill him, but only slightly reinforced his barrier in order to take the blow from her scythe.

As he was doing that, Asterot felt a huge force coming straight for him, it felt like one of those weird guns that mortals use. Although it had that feel, it also had an energy signature much like an immortal's soul attack. "What the hell is this, a fake immortal bargain sale?"

The Officer raised her look up from the barrier as she felt something sick flowing right under her feet. She looked over her shoulder at the newborn demon, tightening the hold of her scythe as she tugged it towards herself, trying to pull it away. Unfortunately, the scythe was halfway stuck into the barrier and the weakened soldier like her couldn't take it out, leaving Gabriel desperately trying to retrieve back her scythe as the demons tore her serpent from the inside. This, though, didn't prevent the monster from trashing its lower half of the body around, trying to throw Nanautzin away from itself as the gigantic snake bit even harder into Asterot's barrier, long teeth sinking further into it.

As the serpent thrashed its body back and forth desperately trying to rid itself of the source of infection, namely being Nanautzin, The sickly immortal, almost demon, kept pumping his energy into the serpent. His virus would convert any immortal energy into viral energy given enough time and power. Which was what he was counting when he was flung from the elemental beast and into the arena wall.

The Officer looked at Nanautzin as he fell down on the wet dirt, leaned against the remaining of the wall "What did you do to my beast, demon!"

Forfax hissed, harshly pushing the scythe to the side and stepping onto it with her boot, making it snap. Leaving the metal blade trapped in Asterot's barrier the Officer ran down the serpent's tail, stepping onto the soaked ground as she charged towards the demon, wielding only the pole of the scythe. Metal of her suit shackled as every quick step of hers got her closer to the infectious demon, the Officer swinging the metal pole's edge and aiming towards Nanautzin's head by doing so.

Freya looked up from her game. She mentally went over the information gathered by her AI and briefly weighed her options before switching priority on her weapons. Looks like they need more time to read their patterns to land direct shots. "Switch to support fire," came the verbal command. "Limit their mobility." Instead of trying to shoot them down, the cannon would now launch beams that cornered them into Gabriel's attack range with little to no room to dodge. The next wave of shots would aim to cram the combatants together into a small space, or divide them should they try to interfere.

Detaching one of the guns from her back, she set it to manual and flipped up the scope. She wasn't called a sniper for nothing, after all. Taking a gentle breath, she closed one eye and locked onto Nanautzin, tracing his movements for a split-second before squeezing the trigger twice in rapid succession, the second beam adjusted slightly to the opposite side of the support gun's trajectory.

Nanautzin caught the pole in both hands already trying to infect this female. Unfortunately Nanautzin didn't have much room to maneuver since he was literally pinned against the wall with several bombarding shots from a sniper coming at him. He would need to deal with the sniper first before he could do anything. It was limiting his already abysmal maneuverability. Luckily if the female officer didn't abandon her weapon he could use her as a human shield.

As Nanautzin held the scythe pole it slowly began covered in a viral membrane. He hopes to use it to attach the woman to her weapon.

The Officer used the Butterfly's fire as an excuse to weaken the hold of the pole, trying to catch up on her breath as she could feel every muscle in her body aching from exhaustion. It was getting more difficult for Gabriel to think on the happenings in front of her as her thoughts were only focused on her desire to rest.Fortunately for her she managed to snap out of it and let go of the pole, moving a step away upon sensing the sickness so close to herself. It was a feeling that the Officer couldn't describe, she felt filthy from being in Nanautzin's presence only, and in that moment the Officer was greatly glad for Butterfly limiting his movements as she made a few steps back to recover some of her energy.

The sick serpent hissed as it continued biting into the barrier, suffering Asterot's attacks with no chance of salvation. @AtlasAtrium

The viral energy within the serpent continued eating away at its energy, changing it into viral energy. Soon even the earth the serpent was made of was being turned into viral membrane. This change from earth to virus was a very slow one considering Nanautzin wasn't constantly feeding his energy into the serpent. However now that he and the officer were now separated he could make his way to the sniper. However he couldn't very well approach her because not only was there suppressive fire but he himself was being targeted. Jumping down from the all but dead snake he used said serpent as cover while he thought. He definitely knew where the sniper was but he needed to get close to end her. Still holding the pole from the scythe covered in viral membrane Nanautzin used the membrane to turn the pole into a spear and after thinking for a moment threw the viral spear at the source of the sniping.

after all but jettisoning Pandora, Acantha turned the ship quite a long ways away from the station observing (and enjoying) the fight. looking back at the unconscious Otrov she wondered if she should wake him. nawwhh he'll just want me to help them.

Gabriel sat down as she watched Nanautzin target the sniper with his spear, and the Officer chuckled, knowing that Butterfly must have been long gone from that position by the time that the infectious spear made it there. Gabriel let out a deep exhale, pushing herself behind so it would be less apparent to Captain Hiiglane that she was slacking, trying to get back enough energy to stand back up and fight.

After he threw the makeshift spear Nanautzin went back to his purpose of finding and ridding himself of that female. Nanautzin began sniffing about searching for where she had went. He could smell that earthy energy of the officer now it was just a matter of finding her. Nanautzin searched for that uniquely strange energy that was a staple of the artificial immortals. After a few moments he was able to find her and began making his way to her, " Where are you child? Come now hiding like this won't do."

Gabriel bit her lower lip as she suppressed her shaking exhale, afraid that she might get discovered much sooner than she originally planned. Closing her eyes and picturing how a hound looks like, the Officer raised her hand from the spike produced wound on her hip, focusing the little of energy that she managed to obtain into recreating the dog. Gabriel pet the hounds head, the hound showing its teeth as it could sense the smell of infection in the air.
