(...English, I guess LOL. Laharl that creeper ; ))
Aly looked at Laharl and rolled her eyes "Goodbye Laharl, see you later" She walked into class and to her desk for about an hour of boredom, and then another hour for Algebra. After the laborious school day Carla caught up with her "Hey Lya" she gave a small smile "Hey" Then Carla spoke "That kid, he looked kinda freaky, you should stay away from him, probably some thug that wants to rip something off of you, or worse..." Aly's eyes widened "Laharl wouldn't do that!", Carla laughed "The guys name is Laharl! What kind of name is that!?!?" Aly sighed, "I'll call you later and she walked off.
She walked past her driveway and to the front door, when she got inside she was greeted by a barking, jumping Rocco. She patted his head and went to her room, flinging her bag on her bed. Her stepfather would be mad if she didn't keep up with her grades so she got started. By the time she finished it was late, in fifteen minutes to a half hour it would be dark. She walked to the front door, she jumped at her stepfathers voice, "Where are you going?" He said, He swiveled his chair to face her. He didn't have work today it seems. Regular work, that is, he was doing business in the study. "Oh hey" she said "I'm just going for a bit of a walk". Her stepfather raised a bushy eyebrow, she responded "Don't worry, I'll be back before it's late, I do this all the time, it's fine, and I'll be safe, I promise". He released a sigh "Fine, I suppose so, did you do all your work?" She nodded "Good, better keep your grades up, I don't want to see a B on your report card, you hear?" She nodded "Yes sir" then left.
There was a bit of a windchill tonight, she wish she'd brought a light sweater but she'd be all right. She made her way past the houses and far past human reach until she reached the grass field. She sat in the cool grass and the wind rushed through her dark black hair. She was glad that today was Friday, she wouldn't have to worry about another day of school.
