Heather-

I smiled a little. "Yeah...her name's peanut." I said, grabbing one of the very dull knives we have and chopping little pieces for her to eat. "She can't really walk yet...so I gotta carry her everywhere."

Grabbing a small container, Rose^ goes to the sink and fills it with water, placing it on the table next to the apple slices. "Well here, see if Peanut is thirsty. Do you think it'll be long before she's up and about?" Rose said with a smile leaning against the counter, gazing down at the little cat.

Heather-

I smiled and set the kittens beside the food and water. "Well I hope so...she had a little trouble with her leg so I did the best I could." I smiled a little. "I'm not a Vet, so we'll have to see."

"Well then we'll hope for the Best. I've always been a cat person anyway," she said with a laugh. "But hey that reminds me, so out on one of my little outings, I guess I leaned against a wall and my arm started to bother me^ a lot. " She said as she lifted up her right sleeve, showing Heather her forearm. "I guess I did get a little swollen...do you think some bug might have bitten me^?" Rose sighed and really hoped not, because getting sick was the last thing she needed.

Heather-

I put the rest of the Apples down on the plate and looked at her arm. I gently grabbed her arm so I could turn it in the light. "It actually looks a little like Poison Ivy..." I mumbled to myself. "Is it itchy?" I asked.

Rose^ shook her head. "No not really...but it does bother me. And I've had a major headache since then. Any idea what it might be?" she asked worriedly.

Nicky stared at the box. What did she hide in the matchbox? "Rose," he started to say, but she had left. He slid the box into his pocket and folded the newspaper. He deposited both in his room. He stretched and sat down on his bed, thinking about his family an how they were doing.

I inspected it a little more. "It looks to me like an alergic reaction." I said. "It might be because of a bug or something that was on the wall you leaned on." I dropped her hand. "Wait here, I something to help the headache and the swelling." I said, running to my room. I grabbed my first aid kit where I kept everything I needed and pulled out the small amount of pills I had been able to acquire and ran back down to her. "Here, take this." I said, giving her one.

"Oh wow, thank you!" she said as she took The pill from her. She didn't hesitate as she popped it in her mouth and swallowed it down, taking a sip of water. "Are there any side effects? Like maybe...umm drowsiness?" she said, trying to remember if she had anything to do today.
