Ice-Lollies_300x266.jpg

^Like so? Popsicle/Ice-lolly

Rosie took the sweet with gratitude, nodding her head in thanks. She proceeded to open the wrapper. She started to eat the iced-loli. She enjoyed the sweet with a smile on her face. Then the bird screeched again. She punched the cage again. Wanting to strangle the pest, eat it, spit it out and eat it again.
(I've had one)

(;-; i was very scared for your childhood Ako...I apologize for the interruption.)
Miya flattened her ears at the bird after handing the fox the sweet, hoping it might cool her down some. The Visayan Leopard cat hybrid wandered over back to her unlatched cage in the corner of the store, stretching her body out on the floor with the door wide open. She was quite sleepy and exhausted from her trek in the city. But although noisy and loud, was familiar to the noise of the screaming bird, it was no bother to her she had heard flocks in the thousands flying outside of her cage in the Philippines.

Therese frowned at the client in front of her. "Mr. Fenwoods, I don't think that-" she started, before he interrupted her once more with his fragile and honestly degrading logic. The local business owner, although gifted at socializing and persuading, needed some genuine business advice. His other advisers apparently did a terrible job and the young woman intended to surpass them. "Ms. Stone. Please try to listen. It's just that I've had a lot of experience and from what I have perceived well...I believe my plan is just better."

Okay, time to get serious and actually business-like.
With an impatient sigh and glance at the messy paperwork he had provided, she gave him a stern look. Her dark brown hair was tied back into a practical ponytail, and her brown eyes held a level of intelligence she would not initially display. "I am your adviser, and I say that your plan will not work. I gave you a packet of analyses and examples with a good layout of what you should do with your newest business, Mr. Fenwoods. Now if you have any other questions, you can ask me next time; I'm actually five minutes late for break." The business owner suddenly got very embarrassed and hurried out; it was not a secret that Therese valued her lunches and breaks very highly, and she was often very snappy if she happened to miss any. Papers were strewn on her floor, and the young woman took a few minutes to tidy up her office before hurrying out.

Today was an out-of-the-ordinary day. She might actually get a pet, a partner. Some of her friends had them and she found herself presently alone. A pet would be very nice, especially if they established a sweet, loyal relationship. She got into her navy blue car and drove to the address her friend had provided her with. As she entered the place, she realized that it was indeed very noisy.

"Hmm...I think I could afford one of them. Thank you very much." Right before he began looking at the animals the bell of the door rang. Jan saw how a woman entered the store and began looking at the animals with a smile. "How can she be so calm? Doesn't she hear the noises?" He looked back at the small black haired cat looking hybrid that he had bumped into when he was walking into the store. "Strange, she isn't inside a cage like the others...I wonder why is that." Jan began to walk towards it but before he reached her the hybrid moved away and entered her cage. He was about to follow her but his attention got immediately caught by a small hybrid inside a cage. It was the same one that the black hybrid was looking at. He crouched in front of the cage to get a better look. For what he could see the small hybrid looked like a tiger. For some reason she seemed to be slightly in pain. "Are you okay? You don't seem too good."

"Thank you ma'am." Zeelia turned as she had began towards the squawking bird that had been making as much noise as it could, even when she had walked in. She shook her head, as she had opened the cage placing her arm out so the bird could climb on. "C'mon little guy. I've got a little treat for you." Zeelia had pulled out a hand full of seeds from her pocket "I know you want some, come on out and eat it." Before she knew it, the bird had stopped the noise and climbed onto her arm. With a smile forming on her face, she placed her hand out in front of the bird so it could eat the seeds. After the bird had finished off the seeds, Zeelia had lightly patted his head. "Good boy. Now, it's time for some training." She had pulled out a few more seeds from her pocket and held it infront of the bird "You will get these every single day I come in, IF you stop squawking. Also, I know you can speak. So repeat after me. 'Please adopt me.' You've got this." The bird stayed quiet, but moments later before Zeelia had given up the bird had spoken. Zeelia had placed a hand full of seeds in the birds cage, allowing the bird to hop back in. "Good job, buddy. If you say it when someone walks in, and maybe you'll be adopted. Also, don't squawk 24/7 it'll cause other's to dislike you." Zeelia had shut the cage behind the bird. Her eyes had shifted towards the counter in the front as she nodded at the owner. She had begun towards the front, but suddenly stopped in front of the Bengal tiger's cage. She had kneeled down, looking towards the back as she smiled. "Aren't you just adorable, as well as your friend. Hm, maybe a little treat could cheer both of you up." Zeelia placed a piece of chocolate in front of the tiger's cage and some sushi in front of the leopards cage. "I hope you like it." She stood up and she began towards the counter once again. "It only took one try to train him, I'll be coming in more often to train him more until he is adopted. Other then that, he's good to go." She spoke up as she placed a small bag of seeds on the counter. "If he begins to squawk once again, just remind him I'll be coming and give him some as well."
(My rp is soooo rusty. I haven't done it in such a long time.)

The Tiger Hybrid looked up to the male looking into her cage. She was already as far as the cage could let her scoot. She was a bit scared of him since she doesn't get many people stopping by her cage a bit scared of the people she's seeing this up close. "Y-Yes." She quietly said while looking down at the ground having to say something back in response. When the squawking stopped she was grateful for it. Her hand had slipped down then she saw the female who was eying her in the front, next to the cage, then saw she had placed a piece of chocolate next to the cage. She had moved her other hand to her stomach as well revealing her other feline ear, but they both were laying flat on her head as to help block the sound. She had kept her attention on the chocolate not knowing if it was safe to grab it but still noticed the man in front of her cage.

The woman at the counter grabbed the bag of seeds and put it on the ground on the other side of the counter nodding. She looked releived that the bird finally stopped the unnecessary squawking. "Thank you, Zeelia."

Thomas rolled down the street on his skateboard, browsing the multiple stores that lined it. He yawned, tired from the extensive pressure he had put onto himself earlier that day. 'If I had known I would get such a big tip, I would have cut my hours.' He sighed, running a hand through his hair. He slowed his board, examining all the shop's. None truly caught his eye, and he huffed in exaspiration. He was about to roll down the next one when he noticed a pet store. He stopped, staring at the store. He checked the amount in his pocket, counting it off. '500, huh? Thank god for old, rich people who are overly nice.' He clutched the cash in his hand, thinking. His parent's had always said that a pet would do him some good. He knew he didn't want to go back to...that time. He shook his head, then kicked his board into his hand, pushing the door open. It was loud, but he had heard louder. He placed his board by the door, out of the way of anybody entering or exiting. He then placed both hand's in his pocket, looking over the array of pets, until he reached the hybrids. There was a woman looking at a bird, and there were a few cat-like hybrids. He noticed one sitting on a cage, where another person seemed to be trying to coax one out of the cage. He wasn't sure if he should actually get one, second thoughts coming to mind. He walked over to browse the various pet supplies, trying to make a decision.

(Sorry, a little confused on what to make my character do at the moment. XP)

Miya's eyes widened in excitement as the new woman dropped the piece of sushi in front of her. With a gracious smile the leopard cat took it into her hands and bit into the treat, holding it in her mouth to savor the flavor as long as she could. It had been long time since she had a delicacy such as this, that was not processed or ground before serving it to her or from a can. She purred in content, eyes glancing over at the dark haired man curiously as he inspected Maimu's cage. 'If...he can't afford....' Miya thought, glancing down at the wallet behind her as guilty thoughts flooded into her mind 'Then...he won't be able to take one of us home...'. She gulped down the food and approached the man cautiously with her hands behind her back.

(No worries, it's similar of nature to the others)

Rosie seemed bored at the moment, but was happy that damned bird was silenced. Now she could take a nice peaceful nap. She raised up her bushy tail in front of her face, snuggling it, she yawned. There was still a lot of noise in the room but it wasn't as loud with the damn bird. So she went to sleep or tried to at least, she couldn't get comfy in the small area. So she sat up and look at the commotion with the other hybrids. All the humans had there eyes glued on the tiger. Not that she didn't mind. She also looked at the boy that was looking pet supplies. He seemed to not know what he was doing or just out of place.

Jan noticed how strangely the tiger hybrid was acting and moved slightly away from the cage. "Sorry for that, I wasn't trying to scare you." Suddenly, out of nowhere, the squawking stopped. A great feel of relief filled Jan up. "Thank god for that..." Jan thought as another woman approached the cage. It was the same woman that had just entered the shop. She left a piece of chocolate in front of the cage before leaving towards the counter. "That girl really seems to be into animals...She would be a good owner to one of these hybrids." The tiger hybrid eyed it, but she didn't seem to want to grab it. "Is it because I am here? Damn, I didn't know I was so scary." He gently pushed the chocolate into the cage before standing up. "You should probably thank her next time you see her, you know? Just for her to know you appreciate her kindness."

She grabbed the chocolate then ate it without hesitation. Her tail swaying on the floor of the cage. Then she grabbed out towards the man. "I.. want out." She mumbled before holding onto the bars of the cage with her hands while looking to the ground.

The worker had saw the tiger reaching out of the cage then yelled out to the man. "Be careful with her! She can bite.." she said keeping an eye on the tiger seeing she had retreated her hand to the cage bars. Then she went back to work and welcomed another female and male that had entered.

(late welcomes to all :D )

{{Sorry I haven't been on! I was at work!}}

Rory groaned at all the commotion. He enjoyed being the noisy one not being annoyed by noise. Especially the squawking bird which was an embarrassment to him. He looked around taking in all the usual chaos of the pet store. He sighed as no one seemed to notice him. Rory just shrugged and decided to whistle his beautiful bird song. Rory has seen the days where he almost got adopted and when he was completely ignored. "I guess today is the day I get ignored. Oh well," Rory whistled petting his feathers and plucking all the dead ones off.

Tommy picked up what he assumed was a toy, looking at it curiously. He put it back and sighed, the money crinkling in his pocket. He looked back over to where the hybrids were, then walked over. The tiger-hybrid seemed to have taken the attention of another guy, so he sat down on the floor and closed his eyes. "Jeez, who knew getting a pet would be so tough?" He opened his eyes and noticed a female-hybrid, with a white tail and ears, kind-of like an arctic-fox, or a white wolf. He looked at her for a few more moments, then huffed, thinking. He didn't want to just up and pick one. He wanted to be able to choose one that he could at least bond with. He pulled off his backpack that had been strapped to his back. Inside, there was a white button-up shirt, black pants, and black dress shoes. His typical work attire. He shoved his hand down and past all the clothes, then pulling out a bag of chocolate candy. He placed it on the floor next to him, and popped a piece into his mouth. It wasn't very wise in hindsight to leave a bag of food on the ground in a pet store, but he didn't bother putting it away. If a pet wanted one, then he would let them have it. He looked back at the arctic-fox hybrid, then pulled out a piece of candy and placed it in front of him. "You can have some. I'm not hogging it all. Too much for myself, you know?"

Miya carefully pulled the wallet from behind her back. Pushing it into Jan's hands with an apologetic look in her dark green eyes."I'm sorry mister...Y-You dropped this..." she muttered quietly flattening her black ears, quickly heading back to her cage before he asked any questions. She curled up on the bottom of her cage, sighing irritably. She had never felt this guilty about stealing before, he seemed to be very kind man that worked hard for each of his currency. She stared across her cage at the boy picking at his feathers .

Rosie Grabbed the candy, while starring at the boy as she putt it in her hand. She smiled at him. Then placing it in her mouth she bit down on it. She enjoyed the sweet taste of the new fond sweet. She wanted more. So She pointed at the ground signaling for more.

Jan looked back at the worker. "Her? Bite? Please, I don't think she could even hurt a fly." That's what he wanted to tell her, but instead he simply thanked her for the warning. "I will make sure she doesn't do so." Jan knelt back in front of the cage. "I can see why you would like to get out of here...I have only been here for a couple of seconds and I was already thinking of yelling at that damn bird. I do believe I have enough money to-" Suddenly Jan felt how someone pushed a leather object onto his hand. It was his wallet. "I'm sorry mister...Y-You dropped this..." A female voice told him. He quickly turned around and saw it was the same black cat hybrid that he saw before. He wanted to thank her but sadly she ran back into her cage. "I really need to thank her later..." Jan turned back towards the tiger hybrid. "My point is that, if you want, I could adopt you..."

Tommy watched her eat the candy, then point at the ground. He laughed, pulling one out and raising an eyebrow. "I take it that you like it? Here ya' go." He placed the candy in front of her, then popped one in himself. If she was begging, then she was doing an amazing job at it. He looked at his watch, checking the time. He didn't have anything planned, but if he was home late, then his mom would have a fit. But the place was nice, aside from the obnoxious bird, so he would just make an excuse. He looked back at the hybrid, his head titled. "Wild guess, but can I assume you're a arctic fox? Or are you a white wolf? I'm not very good at telling differences with animals. Sorry." He laughed, scratching the back of his head.

Rory yawned as he observed the world outside the cage. The female cat hybrid unsurprisingly stole again but on the other hand surprised him by giving back what she stole. He saw that the tiger hybrid was as cautious with humans as ever and then he turned his attention on the arctic fox hybrid who was surprisingly sharing a piece of chocolate with a human. Today I guess might be a different day. He saw that the female cat hybrid was looking at him trying to not look at the man she stole from.
