Sweet Psychotic Bird
MelonBread submitted a new resource:

New World - Anime roleplay. Be a human buyer or an animal-hybrid pet/partner for the human.

I wanted to do an rp like this, sorry xD
Be a human or and buy your pet or be a human-anime hybrid and be bought by a human. The catch to this is that the Pet being bought by the Master has to be compatible with each other in the rp. So don't ask in the OOC or CS if you can be their master(or just a partner)/pet.

The pets/ animal-human hybrids are a new way of living for this world and this is also a type of test if these hybrids can live in every day life without a problem.

These test subjects(hybrids) have enhanced abilities that correspond with the inhuman part of them which there are laws that the subjects cannot harm the humans unless humans hurt the subject first then a small action towards the human is allowed.

Oopsies

I'm adding a few things I forgot and I think are vital for a profile. You may fill in the height, weight, eyes and hair color(if different from picture), sexual orientation of the character, hobbies/pastimes, weaknesses/fears, and other markings. You may add them if you'd like to it'd only take a little time, you don't have to though.

Maimu, the Bengal Tiger Hybrid, sat in her cage away from the other animals. She was more in a age at the way back, but she could still see the door and the large glass windows of the store. It was bright outside, probably mid-day, and there were many people that passed the shop and some of them had looked in it through the windows. She stared from inside of her medium sized cage at other children that came into the shop. They thought it would be cool to have someone like her but the parents dragged them away from her not knowing if she's dangerous to be around or not.

Seeing no one else was to come and visit her today she moved her legs close to her chest wrapping her arms around them. Her chin would lightly be placed on her knees, slouching her back. Maimu wore a long, brown, fluffy dress. The sleeves of the dress weren't attatched to it so they were held up by being tied to her with a type of rope. Her feet are bare, meaning she didn't wear either shoes or socks.

Maimu closed her eyes hearing the birds and the other animals making loud noises. She could never handle it. Whenever the other animals see humans they tend to get excited and make a lot of noise, Maimu didn't like this. She moved her arms away from her legs and placed both hands on her furry tiger ears trying to make it more quiet for her. It worked slightly, she could still hear the noise but it wasn't as loud as before. While her hands were over her ears she'd begin to pull and scratch her ears out of boredom.

(I don't know what else tuh do, so huurrr is my starter qwq)

Rosie glanced at what surrounded her, there wasn't much to look at, besides pet supplies, some toys, and other pet related things. The pets annoyed her with rather loud barks and screens from the birds. They seemed they wanted to pester her with the noises. She happy, that she wasn't outside, she couldn't stand the heat and didn't want to walk around with humans. She wasn't in the least bit used to the new climate and the small amount of A/C

kept her calm when she was in the cage, that trapped her in such a small space. A cage she didn't want to be in.

She also didn't under stand anything the humans were saying. She heard the words they spoke, but couldn't make sense of it. She growled at the other animals trying to shush them, but they were just stupid creatures. So she looked around and tryed to look for other creatures like her.

Justin sat waiting patiently for what he hopped would be a girl, to come looking for a cute scratch that an adorable, tall kitten to love and sleep with. Just like a regular cat, which he hopped would not be all but hey thats what comes from being a playboy right? Or i this case a PlayCat! He laid down, with his tail in the air desperately waiting for someone to come in. B

"So this is all I need to feel better?" Said an old man while looking down at a small recipe on his left hand. Jan was sitting on an office chair, close to the old man, with his his legs crossed. "Indeed, your spine pain is something to be expected at this time of your life. It's nothing grave though. It should go away three weeks after you start taking them. Make sure you keep in contact with me and let me know if the pain persists" The old man gently smiled at him. "Thank you Doctor, I will keep you informed" He slowly began to incorporate himself but Jan moved quickly to help him up and walked with him towards the door. Soon enough Jan was left alone in his hospital office. Today's date was highlighted with bright red on his calendar. "Oh right, I almost forgot about it...Good thing that was my last patient." He proceeded to take off his white coat and left it on a rack before leaving his office.

Soon after leaving the hospital Jan entered his car, a black land rover which he had bought three months ago, and drove off into the road. "So today is the day, eh?..." A traffic light in front of him turned red, forcing him to stop. "I wonder how were these hybrids created. Did they just mix human's DNA with animal's DNA? Or was it something completely different from that?" The light turned green, allowing him to drive on. "What am I doing? Is this even morally right? After all I AM buying something close to a human...Will they be too expensive?" Jan shook his head, attempting to snap out of his thoughts. "I better not over-think it, after all I am already here." Jan pulled his car over, close enough to the shop's entrance. He slowly got off the car and approached the door. "Here we go..." He thought while pushing the door open.

Miya strided down the city streets with her hands behind her head, large black ears twitching as she listened to the whispered conversations around her. The leopard-cat hybrid seemed to find a new way to escape from her lab every other day, she smiled proudly to herself, feeling too wild to be kept in a cage under watch 24/7. Her long tail would sway in irritation as the bright, golden bell on her neck chimed. She could never seem to get the tinkling leather collar off her neck, it always scared off and birds or mice she stalked.

The pockets of the hybrid's simple dress were stuffed with wallets, watches, and other small jewelry from the citizens around her. "Stealing in this town is so easy...It's almost boring...." Miya yawned lazily, watching the stolen, glittering rings on her slender fingers as she past the entrance of the shop, hand skimming over a dark haired fellow's pocket (Jan).

Rosie notice the chime of a bell as a man walked into the store. She was uninterested with him and continued to look at the other pets around her. She was annoyed with the food they gave her, she poked it. It wasn't real food, it was some crud. She pushed it aside.

The bird next to her was rather annoying squawking ever five seconds. She wanted to eat it, she wanted to eat all the damn birds.

Maimu had heard the bell of the front door as it always rings when the door opens. She hasn't heard it for a while as these humans were taking their time in this shop loitering around. She thought it would be nice to leave this cage behind. Being a cat it would be easy if only she was the type to steal from others and if anyone ever came near her cage. For now, she watched as another human came into the shop, a male that was alone with no child like the others. She scoot as far back in the cage she's in, which wasn't very far, while continuing to clutch her orange with lightly black striped ears tightly trying to get the loud birds squawking and the dogs barking to stop but watched those in her vision of the store which would be around the front area.

Miya, with a sly smile, snatched the man's wallet with careful precision as she wandered back into the store. Her collar chiming wildly as she ran past the clerk and tossed herself on top of the tiger's cage with a thump. Many workers and scientists were use to her habits, for she would always return home just in time for feedings. Miya looked into the container with a wide grin, jingling a pretty silver necklace by the front of the cage "Un, igsoon nga babae " she greeted in her native tongue, showing off her catch of the day, saying "Hello, my good sister".

Maimu laid her whole body down on the cage, hearing the Hybrid that escapes plenty of times, sitting up on her cage. She smiled as she stared at the silver necklace in front of her. It was very pretty to her and she couldn't keep her eyes away from it. This making her scoot towards the front of the cage. She heard the other speak to her, she understood it but couldn't speak it. She did of course thought before replying to the other while looking at the necklace. "H-hello.." she said quietly to the other.

"Kumasta! " The leopard cat smiled with sharp teeth, dropping the glittering , silver star pendant into the floor of Maimu's cage with a small tink "As a cat Hybrid like me....do you like shining things?" she asked the shy creature with utmost curiosity in her bright green eyes. Miya was quite curious of the other animals, and often gave the over-stock of her daily pocket fishing to the other Hybrids as a token of peace. Hoping that in the future, if any got out, would not attack her.

The first thing Jan noticed when he entered to store wasn't the hybrids. It wasn't the rest of the store itself. It was the noise. Good GOD the noise. Jan had to place his fingers in his ears to avoid getting irritated by it. "Good, I just entered the shop and I already look like a complete idiot...Sheesh, if I had known this would be so annoying I would have thought about it twice before coming here." He had only stepped a couple of centimeters into the store when suddenly a hybrid ran past him. It looked surprisingly tall to what he had expected. It ran towards a cage, but he wasn't able to see what kind of hybrid was inside of it nor what both of them were talking about. "It would be better not to disturb those." His attention got caught by another hybrid. A female one with white feline ears and hair that matched that color. She looked annoyed. "Well, I can't blame her, I would act the same way if I lived here." Instead of directly choosing a hybrid Jan walked over to a woman that seemed to work there. "Excuse me, how much do each hybrid cost?"

Maimu's eyes widened when the silver star pendant hit the bottom of her cage. She grabbed the small necklace and holding it close to her with a big smile. She had seen others carry around shiny things like this around but never really had one for herself. She giggles softly placing the necklace over her neck keeping one hand on the pendant and the other over one ear. "I-I do.." she replied softly to the other feline hybrid. The noise around her was giving her a slight headache from hearing this much noise since the new male costumer came in.

~

The woman that's working in the front desk looked up to the man then around the store at the caged Hybrids, except one of them, but it was normal for that one to be out of a cage. "Let's see. It differs. Usually around 280-360 dollars. The price depends on their.. umm.. personalities." The woman answered the male whom asked her "If you pick one, I'll tell you how much that one is exactly."

(Since <^< I made the roleplay I might as well~)

Miya smiled widely, enjoying the small items that humans adorned their bodies with. It entertained her, but necklaces made of even the most glamourous and shiny of material reminded her too much of collars to be worth much in her eyes. The leopard cat twitched her tail and turned her ears, watching the man carefully as she wrinkled her nose in curiosity "He smells like medicine....*sniff* and old people..." she whispered to herself, clutching his wallet behind her back while her legs swung above Maimu's cage door innocently.

Zeelia had sighed as she walked through the town, ignoring those around her. She hadn't spoken with other's for a few years after the accident, many have blamed her for it though she wasn't there when it had happened. She had been lost in thought seeming to be for hours, suddenly she had stopped in front of a pet store. Her eyes glanced towards the sign over the door as a small smile formed across her face. Zeelia loved animals, hopefully she could find an interesting animal inside. She had walked towards the shop, placing her hand on the knob of the door as she pushed the door open. Her eyes had widened with joy as she began to speak to herself "I'm glad that the owners had wanted me to train one of the animals.. though I'm not sure if the owner blames me as well.. I'm sure they do. Oh well, they wanted me to train one of the birds.. Hm." Moments after she looked around for that very bird, she had noticed a small Bengal tiger in the back. She walked to the counter, behind the male as she waited to ask which bird she had to train. Though she kept glancing over towards the small tiger with a small smile.

Finding a use for the crudy food. She would pick up the bowl with the food. She tossed the small food pellets at the bird trying to shush it up, but she couldn't seem to hit it. So when she ran out, she patted the side of the cage over and over again, while growling. The bird still wouldn't stop. So she gave up putting her hands on her ears try to soften the noise. She wanted to scream at the bird. She then looked at the man at the counter with the black hair. Wondering what he was up to.

Miya watched the new woman's eyes carefully, she leaned over and whispered to her tiger friend from the other side of the bars"Oi...I think that human has taken a liking to you, nene...." she flattened her large black ears nervously as she watched the two humans in the store. Miya could tell that both seemed quite intelligent compared to the latter in the streets, quite possibly too intelligent to be tricked so easily.

She turned her head to the irritated fox as it tossed it's food. The leopard cat was not fond of someone willingly wasting their food and decided to give the fox a wrapped ice-lolly from her pockets.

Hearing the bell in the front ring, from the door opening, Maimu looked up seeing a female had entered this time. Her hand letting go of the pendant letting it hang around her neck. She scooted to the back of her cage a bit laying her head down to the bottom of the her hands over her ears once again. In the mixture of the odor of the animals was a more antiseptic smell like the smell in every lab she went to for random testings to see if she was able to 'work' properly. She shook her head as if the memory would leave her when she did so. It worked slightly when she kept noticing the female who had entered keeps sneaking glances at her. It was odd seeing an older person taking an interest in her kind. Hearing the other feline hybrid she blushes a bit keeping her head down trying not to look up.

~

The woman in the front desk noticed another had entered the store. Noticing who she was her eyes widened and she pointed over to the non-stop squawking bird next to the fox-hybrid. "Ah, Zeelia! That's the bird, if you could.." she said to the other female.
