FRIENDS WHO SLAY TOGETHER STAY TOGETHER
Crash!
“Ahh! Hahaha!”
The chaos Celeste entered would not have been a surprise. Carlisle Tucker squealed with delight as she knocked over a tower of blocks in the centre of the room, her clothing covered in dirt. The door the guest would’ve been welcomed through hung loosely, barely attached to its hinges, and chips of wood from it had been strewn across the floor the baby was playing on.
“Oh watch your step, deary. We had a bit of a fight last week.” Eliza looked back at Celeste for a moment, her face half made up with heavy makeup. She looked back to the mirror on the wall, the only thing that seemed to be intact. “Not against eachother. Someone broke in and tried to take the TV.” She swiped mascara across her lashes vigorously.
“It’s fine, it’s fine. We couldn’t salvage the TV-” The TV was on the floor, the screen bashed in. As Teddie spoke, he kicked it over. “-but we got something much better in return, kehehehe.” Teddie shook his head, something was far too funny, but he didn't elaborate.
“Something much, much better… Hoo… Ahh Celeste, Celeste, how have things been? We don’t see you enough-”
“Why don’t you visit more!”
“Why don’t you visit more!” Teddie echoed his partner, smiling at Celeste. “We want to hear from you! We want to know how things are going.”
Carlisle babbled a bit, toddling towards her favourite human in the world - Celeste, of course. She wrapped sticky hands around her leg, maybe the only one in the family who realised she was in need of some comfort.
