New Game?

DBs get some pretty decent archery charms to begin with, unless you've got something real specific you're looking for that it doesn't cover you ought to be alright. Cheap extra action charm, a couple ways to bump up damage, even some nice defensive stuff. And Wood Dragon is always an option for the long term.

You don't have to know MAs, I haven't looked into the DB Charm set much, but I do know their Melee Charms have some nice stuff in them.

I also love the fact that it pretty much encourages taking specialities, if you want to increase your pool dice through excellencies.

Yeah, I'm just working on a pair of supplental charms, one would inflict Knockback, another roots a target to the spot. I'd combo them together so I could slam a target across a battlefield and into something, then they get bound up in vines. Just something I think would look cool.

That does sound like a cool effect. You might want to consider a custom artifact instead of charms. No combo needed that way, and you can probably manage it at chargen. Making properly balanced artifacts is usually easier than making properly balanced charms anyway.

And what about "bending" ?

I've done some mods with Element Affinity Control, and I could totally plant a CMA using generic effects as well as sfx attached to each element.

Wow...more than three pages of posts since last night.

If you are willing to accept any more players I'd like to go with an Earth Aspected sorceror engineer- likely one of those Realm DBs who were part of the exchange student program with Lookshy.

Ok, board is open, character gen is posted, and I'm willing to start accepting players, and see the Princes of the Earth come to life.

I guess I can resurrect an old concept... the last known exalted scion of Her Redness, prior to her disappearance.

I'd be up for this. Water aspect dabbling in sorcery.

**EDIT**

Not sure about the sorcery part... Maybe the strange Firewand style from the Imperfect lotus style.

Well...I was considering some sort of Air or Water-Aspected artificer-transporter, but a sorcerer-engineer pretty much already covers that territory. Maybe. I just imagined a transport specialist who keeps the Hunt on the move, keeps the logistics in order...I dunno.

Well, you could specialize in either Survival, to lead them through it, or Sail. While not all the hunts will be in the West, or near water. Your abilities could get them moving from place to place faster, if there is a river or some such to be had, or if you are sent after a Solar with Sail, or a Water-based War Form Lunar.

There is always the option of grabbing a Landship (Oadenol's Codex) or one of the flying vessels out of Wonders of the Lost Age.

Hey DHC! :)

...On looking through my list of "Exalted things to play with before I die," I can't help but notice a rather conspicuous lack of a checkmark beside the entry: "Warstriders."

Opinions? :D

Landship Admiral is also a pretty nifty idea, too.
