Futuristic new earth

"Of course, i was a bodyguard so i know that well, there isnt a too much of a difference between our professions. The only difference is that you search for your targets and i wait on my lazy ass for mine to come to me." He says with good humor. "Though the next time you think about attacking me i wouldnt stare at my hand like it was going to bite you." He said with a bit of amusement. Yet it didnt seem like he was laughing at her ethier.

She looked him in the eye and said "If I was going to attack you I would have done so long after you'd forgotten me." Still, at least he wasn't acting like a scared baby-boy, or a psychopath. When she was tired of being around the idiots it might be interesting to watch his movements, stalk him like her prey. She could see how good a bodyguard he had been, at least. Ah, but he was human... I wonder if we managed to get any animals on board. After thinking that she mentally slapped herself, she had better manners than to think of animals while talking to a former foe, even if she didn't like him. She didn't like anyone, come to think of it. She even hated herself.

"Im a bodyguard remember, i never forget a face. especially one as pretty as yourself. And a bit famous at that too." He paused for a moment and said. "What are you doing right now, you seemed to wandering without much purpose."

Dawn looked at him. "My research is done for now. So i guess i can go an eat something." She started to walk away out of the room and down the hall pulling her hood up.

She frowned. "Famous?" That wasn't good. She didn't want to become famous, she was only good at what she did because she viewed it as a service to the universe. "And yes, I am wandering around without a purpose at the moment. I've already finished my training, despite that little disturbance, and now have nothing to do with myself." She didn't want to train any more, she'd had nothing else to occupy herself in that prison cell.

"Considering this mission was how you got your pardon it shouldnt be that surprising. In my profession many considered you lucky that humanity is desperate for potential. Though they couldnt deny your efficiency." he kept quiet about the other insults he heard. He raised his eyebrow a little bit hearing her answer. "Forget to bring a book?" He asked, he had actually had quite a few of his favorites transported on the ship considering he was expecting lots of boredom during travel.

"don't forget the Explorer round"he left the room and went down the hall he was going to go read some books so th ship library would be a good place you can find the book form or look on the pc when he got there he got a pile of books and set at table then he started to read

Dawn saw two people talking so she walked passed them and entered the mess hall and grabbed a salad and started to eat in silent."

One of her eyebrows raised, "You think they let me bring things?" She asked, surprised. "Let me tell you. I was caught, interrogated for nearly a month, and then put on this ship. The only things I got to keep are the clothes I'm wearing and my energy blades. I don't think I even have changes of clothes."

"Hmm i see, well the ship does have a library though im not sure how full it is as i havent had to check it out. I brought my own set of books if you ever feel bored as you are now. I read quite a bit, which seems to surprise most people. Though i cant do anything about the cloths." He said amused.

She rolled her eyes, of course he decided to make it a joke. Most people would have let it go, or felt grossed out, but no. She had to find the one man on the ship who would find it funny. Though, she hadn't exactly checked to see if there were clothes, so she might be wrong. "I know. Everyone in my Cell would stare at me when I spent most of my money on books, and I never understood why. They are one of the few things humans didn't turn into a way or reason to kill one another." Aside from the religious texts, of course.

"Heh yeah, i would be quite flabbergasted if someone tried to kill me for my book preferences." He said with a chuckle imagining someone trying to kill him for reading of mice and men or to kill a mockingbird. "For me it was almost a necessity. Many of my clients overestimated the amount of danger to their life so its usually long hours waiting for nothing so i started reading. What are some of your favorite books." He paused for a moment thinking. 'Am i talking to a assassin about book preference.'

As Justin's discovering finished he got up and started to walk to the mess hall he just got some pizza and saw a girl sitting and he sat across from her "Hi, my name is Justin" I say to her kindly.

"I like mostly fantasy books, but don't actually have a favorite. There are just too many good ones, to be honest." She hoped that she hadn't killed any authors. That would have been awful, but she would never know. Some assassins liked to collect information on her clients, but usually she just killed them and was over with it. "Though I have enjoyed some historical fiction." There is nothing strange about talking with a bodyguard like this. Nothing at all. Oh ninjato, this is awkward.

"Ya there is, theres many good authors that make the story seem to come alive. Though i never could stomach spy books, i keep criticizing their technique when they fight." He says seriously which just a hint of a grin. "Well if you ever want to barrow any books ask me or check the library. Meanwhile im quite hungry." He says heading his way to the kitchen. "Feel free to join me if you like." He says over his shoulder before he turns the corner. "Did i just ask her to dinner?" He asked himself as he looked down at his watch. "Naw to early." he said as he continued walking.

Saphire blinked, watching Marcus heading towards what she assumed was the mess hall. "I just talked to a bodyguard without either one of us attacking the other. And didn't insult him. I must be coming down with something." She walked, slowly, over to the mess hall, knowing full well that she had a need to eat. Hopefully something with fish. Maybe she'd have some lobster, if there was any available. Fish was health food, she could justify it.

Marcus couldnt help but blink when he saw Saphire enter the lunch room right after him, had she really come? Well this was getting interesting. He sat back with his food at his own table and waited for her to arrive. "So you came." He said when she (if she) arrived.

She, carrying a plate of fish, nodded. "You are the only person on this entire ship I don't find idiotic beyond my capacity to deal with at the moment. And besides, I was hungry. I haven't eaten since I started my training a few hours ago." She so loved fish, it had to have been a good choice. Because nothing was a bad choice if she got to eat fish. Except that one mission.

"Its because you and i think alike, that comes from our professions really." He says sipping a coke, he couldnt help but wonder how much food they had onboard, because with the earth gone there was no way to resupply back at home. "So where do you come from? Well did come from."

She paused mid-bite. "I came from.... well, the Tsuki clan. Our clan used to be pretty well known in Japan, but as Earth declined so did we, and around three generations ago we turned to assassination. And here I am. We moved around quite a bit, so I don't really have a homeland. Home was with my Cell." And now she shivered. Her cell... the nightmare life. Fish. Focus on the fish.

After her tweaks are finished, Nichole tries her machine again and this time it works. Smiling and letting out a quick wahoo, she grabs her book and scans it with the machine page by page. And page by page it restores her book. Hearing some one coming down the hall as she is finishing up, she turns and looks. It's justin saying something about researching orb samples. "Alright," she answers. "Where? The lab or the library?"

"Let's go to the lab to figure things out" I say to her. "Thanks for helping me out when I need to help to research things like this." I continue. I walk to the lab and I brought my computer and the sample with me.

"No problem. We're just fellow scientists working on something that might be a power source for us for many generations, if we last that long that is." Nichole answers, thinking back to the Big Bang of the earth.

As I sit down I pull out a extra chair for Nichole to sit in "I was recently looking at this and the sudden power jump has Rose when I let it in my room." I say to her and I show her the spike in the power supply in the sample.
