I know how that is, my mom thinks I'm weird but my dad doesn't mind. So, if it's really bugging you, talk to him about it in a calm and intelligent manner (no yelling) and come up with proof to back you up. Example; Would he rather you be a leader or follower? You are just being yourself and your growing up so you need to explore different things to find out who you are.
