Welcome everyone. Here's a few simple things.


This is the current nation map, and I will try to stay up to date with it,

Solid lines represent your confirmed boarder, and dotted lines are disputed boarders.

Before making a nation, find a spot for you nation, and then outline where you want your nation to be, and post it in here, or pm me it, and I'll see what I can do, though I won't give everyone the spot they want. I may put you in a different spot to help, "spice" things up later.



You have the option to make a website and post that instead of using the character sheet, or you can use both the character sheet and the website.


There are 3 types of military your nation is able to have.

  • Melee Based Military's fight using melee troops and mages. They have no guns, though they are allowed to have a small amount of cannons. Odds are though, most of those cannons would be for their navy if they have one. Melee based armies generally have a big military, and always have soldiers on hand for the most part, but usually will be mowed down by gun based armies that are prepared. Mages however, can turn the tide of a battle if there's enough of them and they know what they're doing. Mages are deadly soldiers, but also run the risk of being taken over by a demon.
  • Balanced Based Military's fight using both melee troops, mages, and early gun troops. While they seem like the best option, most balanced countries will have an unbalanced/faltering economy trying to support both instead of one side. With having both, you're well diverse in all areas, but a melee based army will usually have better melee training and a pure early gun army will usually have better weaponry training.
  • Early Gun Based Military's fight using early guns and cannons. They have practically no melee training making them extremely vulnerable to melee based troops that get close enough to them. Early gun based armies will be very deadly, but suffer at the hand of long reload times. A good melee based general will take note of this and charge the enemy during this period to close the gap and get troops into fighting range. With cannons, early gun based armies can usually keep melee based armies at a distance with a constant barrage, but like the guns, even the most advanced of cannons will still take awhile to load allowing for a gab closing charge by melee based armies. Early Gun based armies have given up on magic and melee based fighting to fight with guns and cannons, therefore early gun armies DO NOT have mages in their military.


Magic is allowed, but the only nations that have access to magic are ones that have a melee based military or balanced based military.
