Drea covered his mouth with one hand to keep from yelping she was squeezing his hand so hard but a few minuets latter there was a soft little cry as their baby girl came "just as promised a little baby girl" the nurse wrapped her in a blanket and handed her to drea "aww you're so cute" the nurse stood at a computer attached to the wall "what would you like her to be named? And who's last name shall we be using?"

Alex sighed and leaned back. She mumbled something and closed her eyes for a moment. "so much pain.." she mumbled under her breath before looking at Drea.

Drea smiled playing with her arm as the nurse entered with a wheelchair drea nodded and stood up to nudge Alex "hey baby time to get up we're gonna go home then you can sleep" he said softly

He wheeled her over to the couch and took Annie "I'll take care of her and drake for a couple of days" I mean come on how much trouble can a newborn and a kitten cause right. right?

"Are you sure you can handle it?" Alex said, sounding worried.

"Ehh I should be fine unless she gets hungry and won't feed from the bottle in which case I'll wake you up to breast feed her" he walked off into the spare bedroom to clean it up for Annie he made her a makeshift crib out of a plastic container and a few pillows


"Hey little girl you stay there while Daddy makes you're room ok?" He started cleaning up trash then after he had finished that he cleaned up the extra clothes then took the bed apart leaving the mattress he sat against the wall next to Annie and sighed "I'll finish that latter he picked Annie up "I wonder what kind of hybrid you are I can have doc do a scan in you latter (cause he just has that technology in this world) but not until you're a bit older" he made silly faces at her trying to make her laugh as drake curled up in his lap and fell asleep

Alex sighed and shook her head. "Whatever you say," she mumbled before leaning back and falling asleep.


Annie smiled and gave a small laugh, returning to her baby noises.

He smiled and pet drake "well I got the two best girls in the world I got myself a best friend I got a good life ya I'm gonna have to figure out something with school but whatever" he held Annie and rocked her "and I'm definitely gonna have to get you some things that I should've got before we went to the dragon world"
