Mystery (Music + Skyfilms)

"Well, I had to learn how to defend myself when I was a kid, or when I am not around you." He quickly changed the subject. "So, what did you order?"

Eliora nodded as he explained then looked at what was on her plate, "I don't quite remember....I was like half awake when I ordered." She played with noodles on her plate, "well some noodles," she thought about it but only got irritated at herself not remembering, "just look.." She spoke poking the bag with her chop sticks.

He looked in, and made a surprised look. "There isn't anything in here." There really was, but it was fun messing with her.

Eliora stood up her hands slamming into the table, her eyes full of fury.

"What? Go! Go finish the job and strangle him! No one messes with my food!" She pointed a at the door.

Eliora felt her face warm as she noticed the food, and heard the old nickname. She slowly retreated back to her chair, "oh....Ok. Well good."

"This is my first time home since last week, and I've only had like 4 hours of sleep all week and..." She let out an exasperated sigh, slowly the tiredness crept into her. "I guess i'm finally feeling the toll.." she trailed off running a hand through her hair. "But it's nothing to worry about, it's normal."

His smile quickly changed to a frown. "Well, is there anything I can do?" He hated to see her like this. "I am so sorry, I will do everything I can. Alright?"

Eliora looked at him, her expression without emotion. "Catch this killer.." She spoke bluntly before picking her chop sticks back up and picking up a couple noodles without trouble.

"Well, that might be tough. What if... what if this isn't a normal person?" He almost felt like turning himself in. Anything to make her better, but that would make her far worse.

Eliora stared him with a look of confusion, as though she didn't hear him correctly. But her mind was whirring, "why would you say that?" She questioned in a whisper.

His hand retreating back to he jacket's pocket. He pulled out a rose. It was in perfect condition still. He took it when they went to the waterfall. "Here, take this."

Eliora stared at the rose, a plain expression for a moment not able to understand why. But she slowly reached forward her fingers plucking it out of his hand, as she stared at it her face began to heat up. "O-oh...Thank you..." She stuttered with pink cheeks.

"Glad you are feeling better." He took a bite of rice, and stayed quiet while he finished. However, he couldn't help but feel hatred towards himself for whathe has done. While he claims he is protecting her, he may be putting her in danger.

Eliora stared downwards at her plate, she wasn't that hungry now. What was she going to do, she was put in charge of the forensics during this case and she had only found un needed details. Why did they have such trust in a girl who skipped grades due to her grades, her grades didn't matter anymore. Eliora let out a sigh, her hands keeping warm in between the middle of her thighs. She was so young compared to the others, so why chose her over the others.

Putting his hand onto her shoulder, "It's fine. Don't forget that I am here. However, let's not talk about the bad things, what is your favorite part of life?" He then removed his hand and scratched his head, for it was a kind of awkward moment.

Eliora smiled weakly before scratching her cheek as she stared up at the ceiling in thought, "The people." She moved her gaze on Adarian, mostly meaning him. He had a large role in her life, and she would probably go crazy once he was gone. "What about you?"

Death... Blood... Cruelty... Hatred... Torture... "I don't know. I never thought about it much." Ravage thoughts swarmed his mind. Killing was all he knew and loved. He strives to make people suffer.

Eliora watched him move, watched the un readable emotions flash a crossed his face. "Well now you can think about it."

Eliora stared at the clock then back Adarian, "they've given me today and tomorrow off to see if a change in scenery will help me think. So whenever.."

"Well ok. That's good then." His lust for the kill was getting stronger, and the later it was the harder he could control it. It became bound to him to kill. To hunt.

Eliora stood up clearing off the table and setting the left overs back into their designated containers placing them in the fridge. "I'm going to bed though..." The drowsiness had begun to seep into her voice and she yawned rubbing one of her eyes like a child.

"Well, ok. I am not too far behind you. I think I might just enjoy some open air before sleeping in my very first real home." he said, even though there was more to that story than what he said.
