Scarlett tugged her skirt up a little, her tugged her socks up a bit, before leaving her room with a smile. "Oh daaaaad!" She called out all sing-songy, "Can you tie this for me?" She held up the red tie, a bit wrinkled from her previous attempts. The man chuckled, just then having finished tying his own, before he stood, and walked over to his step daughter. Him and her mom had been together for about four years now, and the fact that Scarlett was calling him dad was just, well, it made him happy. He was actually walking with her to school today because he had recently been transferred to an office nearby.
"I remember my first day. Except, I was in General Studies, not the Hero course," He chuckled, pushing some of his white hair back off his forehead before taking the tie. He looped it around her collar, walking her through the steps of how to tie tie, making her repeat the steps out loud. He was treating her like a child, maybe because it would be the last chance he got for a while. Smiling as he finished up her tie, he pulled her into a hug. "I'm proud of you little one." Scarlett hugged back, "Thanks dad."
After another ten minutes of final preparations, Scarlett and her step-father left their family's apartment. Together they walked down to the train station, talking and what not the entire time, watching a few videos on the train, before talking more all the way to the U.A gates. She stood there, waving to him for a second or two, before turning to enter. Totally right before she noticed Ryan. She walked over, smiling. "Hey buddy!"
