Tobias went to the bus A, assuming it'll be the first to leave, and picked an available place right in front of the seats at the back, on the left side of the vehicle. "A typical yellow school bus... probably the first time I've been in one. Huh. Always walked or rode my bicycle to school...", he thought to himself while fastening his seat belts, out of habit and safety. "Better to prevent than cure, I guess." He diverts his gaze at the window, looking at his peers heading to the buses. "I'll probably need to blow off some steam... literally. When I get to fight the punching bags." referring to the fake villains. The Czech boy then takes a deep breath, which starts cracking every joints in his body, ranging from his knuckles, wrist, back, ankle to his neck and jaw... although the noise he made from getting himself comfortable was perhaps a bit too... uncomfortable for those who heard it. Crack. Crack. Crack. It sounded like he was breaking every solid part inside his body. Yikes. But it was necessary for him to do that, since he needed to loosen up his bones... otherwise, his body'd stiffen up and prevent him from reaching his optimal performance.

Ring ring. Tobias's phone vibrates briefly inside his pocket. He pulls it out and notices a message sent from his father. "You can succeed, son. We believe in you. Do us proud! Love, Dad and Mum", the young Vrbata reads the text written in Czech in his mind, and immediately writes a reply. "Thanks Dad and Mum. Have a good day.", he wrote before sending the answer back. Putting the mobile phone back inside, Tobias closes his eyes and waits for the time to pass.

The assembly hall came to a just when the pro hero Pressure came out to address them. Some may have been awestruck, some may have not been paying attention, and others may have just been overly excited. Scarlett wasn't any of those. Underwhelmed may have been a good term for it. He was all that inspiring, and she had to be honest with herself about it. But who knows, mayhbe he just looked batter on T.V. Anyway, Scarlett already knew which group she was supposed to be going with. Group A, so as soon as they were let go she looked to the boy beside her, "Good luck with the entrance exam!" She said with a slight wave. Even though he hasn't said anything to her, he was still competing. Anyway, she slipped into the crowd of students all making their way to the busses. A lot of them had makeshift hero suits, or specialized outfits made for their quirks, but she just wearing a graphic t-shirt (which totally wasn't some American pro-hero merch, no, absolutly not) with some joggers and bright pink converse sneakers. Her quirk only rewired her to carry a small knife, which she had with her. Anyway, she followed some very loud boys onto the A bus taking a seat at the front. She wasn't paying much attention, until she noticed the ungodly cracking sound. Looking around, she noticed the boy in the seat across from her and could only stare for a good few seconds, before speaking. Of course, only after he was done with his phone. "Don't you think that all that cracking was a bit...overboard?"

"Go beyond Plus Ultra, huh!" he said excitedly. "Will do!" Kira got up from his seat and went to his group. Group A. He heard some boy cracking his bones. He didn't recognize him, so he stuck with Ryan because he was most familiar with him. "So how do you think this is gonna play out?" he asked "You think that you're gonna make it to 1-A?" he asked

Okuni was silent as a ghost as more students slowly filled the vast halls seats. He offered the stranger taking a seat by him a brief nod in response to her question, but nothing more. He was a man of few words, and it wasn't exactly something he was going to argue about. For the next few minutes he watched the centre stage, back rigid as a bamboo stalk waiting to see who would address them, during their first, and possibly last time here, paying little mind to the people surrounding him. He had to practice tuning out all that nattering anyway.

The room fell quiet for a moment, all that idle talk melting away into a deafening silence, and at first, Okuni wasn't quite sure why. It dawned on him quickly though, as with a flourish, pressure himself entered, and for what felt like the first time in his life, the young aspiring student didn't feel tired. He felt far from it. His face lit up, he leaned forward in his seat, and the hint of a smile spread across his lips. It was him... he was actually watching, watching them all. If he wanted to be noticed, he'd have to do well... As the surprise passed, however, a feeling of dread gathered in Okuni's gut. His quirk wasn't flashy, it certainly wasn't fit for fighting robots. Faux villains? Maybe, but not in a way that would catch anyone's attention. How was he going to manage this.

Thoughts and plans and strategies raced through the young mans head as he got to his feet, ignoring the applause for the number one hero and instead racing to the A bus, immediately sinking into a seat at the very back. It took him a few seconds to remind himself that plotting and scheming would get him nowhere. It never had. "Take it as it comes" he whispered to himself under his breath, almost like he was reciting a mantra, or prayer. "It'll work out"

Yukiko Kurogane - Pro Hero Nightblade - Teacher
Yukiko looked up at the clock on one of the many monitors within the Monitoring Room. It was just about time for the morning assembly to end and the practical exam to begin. Yet not every teacher was present for the viewing. Yukiko had her arms crossed and began tapping her foot in frustration. She was wearing her hero outfit as it was customary to do so at least during the first few weeks of school. It was to help students recognize them as well as to help reinforce their efforts to deter villains during the day to day activities. Though history will show that during large swells of crime, even small time villains will try and attack UA. So every hero had to be ready and vigilant at all times. The shifting of her armor made slight clanging sounds as the reverberation of her foot tapping traveled throughout her body.

"Where is everyone? I thought all members of staff where supposed to be present before the practical exam started. I understand we have some staff members at the assembly hall as security, but Pressure's speech couldn't have been that long could it?"

Yukiko looked back at the clock on one of the monitors. Barely two minutes have passed. Yet her patience was wearing thin. She decided she was going to go out and look for some of the staff to ensure at least more than her and the camera operator was present before the exam. "I'll return shortly. I'm just going to locate some of the other teachers." The teacher handling the cameras simply nodded as they continued to calibrate the cameras. Yukiko took her leave of the monitoring room and began her search. Luckily she didn't have to look very far. The silhouette of a very familiar man appeared within her field of view. He had some papers in his hands. Reading them as he walked down the near empty halls. It was Yamato Yanase or as the rest of the world knew him, Jet Strike. She made her way to down the hall towards him. All the while waving and greeting students who she happened to pass by. "Ya-ma-to." She said sternly as she stopped halfway to him. Her hands resting on her hips. She wasn't mad, she simply just wanted to have a little fun by giving him a bit of a scare. It's not often she gets to exercise her image of being the "strict" teacher. Normally her students act with tact so she never has to be strict with them. She normally is quite nice to talk to. But every once in awhile she likes to do this to see if she can get away with it.

“Yeah, I actually am hoping to head for 1-A. How did you guess?” He asked as he raised a brow, Giving off a questioning kind of vibe as the room begun to empty out.

His schedule was as follows: he was assigned to lead students, stay along with the opening remarks, watch and judge along with the other teachers, hold a classroom for written exams later, then guide the students out at the end of the day. It was definitely more complex than that, but that was the gist of it. Once he was about to leave, however, his beautiful co-teacher Yukiko-- more well known as the pro hero, Nightblade --approaches him. Today, she looked somewhat more stern than she usually was. Well, at least from as much information that he knows of her, he hasn't quite acquainted himself with the other teachers yet.

"Oh, what is it Yukiko? Did I, uh, do something?" Yamato said, not sure if he should be concerned about something. He observed that she was in her hero uniform of clad iron. It was definitely the more impressive and unique costumes out there in the hero world of full-body one-piece super suits. Yamato also spots some students still idling by the doorways and shoos them away. Anyway, he's not exactly sure what's up.

He shrugged "I dunno, probably because it's the most sought out class?" he asked as he entered the bus with Ryan

Toka was with the other teachers, herding the other students onto the bus. He noticed Yamato being confronted by Yukikio. He smiled slightly and walked over to Yamato and Yukiko. "Hey, something wrong he asked the both of them. He had a calm expression on his face

Yukiko tried to maintain a serious posture and tone throughout as Yamato answered her. In the back of her mind however she was giggling like a school girl. She extended a pointed finger at him before speaking. "It's what you didn't do Yamato. Why are you in casual wear? I understand that for heroes like you just your silhouette is enough to be recognized. But still some students are coming from out of the country and might not know who you are at a glance. It would be bad if they couldn't recognize you." Of course Yukiko knew that the principal didn't exactly care if the staff wore their costumes or not. And in Yamato's case he didn't exactly need it to be recognized. But this was all part of her fun.

Crossing her arms she continued to speak. "On top of that I got bored of waiting for everyone to meet up in the monitoring room. So I came out looking for people. What did Pressure's speech go on longer than expected? That man was always one for theatrics." Her tone of voice softened to her usual tone and she let a smirk appear on her face. "Luckily I found you Yamato. So now you can keep me company and I won't bored. Now come along with me to the Monitoring Room. I wanna make sure I don't miss any of the new students show off." She let out a gleeful giggle as she turned around to make way to the monitoring room. She couldn't believe she got away with being "stern" with anyone, let alone a fellow member of staff. Maybe there was something to this image after all. For now though she presented a smile on her face. Content with her "success".

Tobias's eyes opens wide and he turns his head at the girl. "Huh? Oh, sorry 'bout that. I couldn't help it though, it's bound to happen at one point no matter what. That's one of the unpleasant things my Quirk gave me. But don't worry, this cracking frenzy only comes once in a while." He said before shrugging, making one last light crack that happened accidentally. "Oops. Sorry again."

He gazed at the ceiling of the bus for a few seconds, before looking at Scarlett again. "My name is Tobias. Tobias Vrbata. I am from Czech Republic. And you are...?" He showed his hands at her, expecting a friendly handshake.

She nodded, giggling a little. "Oh I wasn't trying to sound rude," Scarlett explained, a slight pink twinge coming to her cheeks. She didn't really like coming off as rude, and while this guy hadn't said anything, she was sure that's what he meant. However, she giggled again when he shrugged causing his shoulders to crack. "It just seems a little tedious." Anyway, when he looked back up at the ceiling, she looked away as well, out the window actually to the bus parked beside their bus. Students had already pretty much filled that one, and while she was trying to see anyone she recognized, she heard Tobias introduce himself.

Turning back, she noted that he had stuck his hand out, so she scooted to the edge of the bus seat and stuck her arm out across the isle to take it. She shook it twice, before letting go and pulling away so that more students could get on. "I'm Scarlett Tempest from Washington D.C. Or, America," She said with a small smile, before she tried to decide on what to talk about. How about the obvious topics of Quirks. "You said that cracking your joints was something to do with your Quirk? Do you mind if I ask what it is?"

Yamato Yanase

Somehow, Yamato can sense a little bit of mischievousness from Yukiko, but he's not ready to point what she's up to until she's done with what she has to say. After a bit and she finishes, Yamato can't quite butt in about her points. In actuality, his own hero costume was in the washer and he himself lacks any spare costumes (if anyone ever does keep spares), but he wasn't gonna admit to such a simple, almost convenient reason for not wearing his costume.

"Now wait just a second--"

"On top of that I got bored of..." Yukiko continued, as if she didn't hear him. This might drivel on for a bit more.

"No, Pressure's speech didn't take long..." Yamato added in. He's sure she heard him this time, but she's not done just yet. Suddenly, she states that he will accompany her to the monitoring room, to keep her company and watch the kids show off. Before he has anything to say in the matter, she stalks off to presumably where the Monitoring Room is, given how that direction leads there. Yamato stands for a bit, shifted his head around to see if anyone saw that, sighed, and slowly trudged along to tail behind Yukiko, since he doesn't have anything to do aside from watching the students too. Yukiko's giggle confirmed Yamato's suspicions, since there weren't a lot of things she discussed about that warrant a serious Yukiko.

"Alright, I'll accompany you, but just because I also need to watch the students in the practical exams now, too." Yamato said once he managed to catch up with Yukiko.

Yumiko Kurogane - Shadow Khan

Atop a tall building's roof stands an ominous silhouette. Raven hair dances within the breeze. The villain Shadow Khan looks down upon the large doors of UA. Her icy blue eyes scanning students both returning and new. Heroes turned teachers protect the gates and roam the interior. Her eyes soften as her memories flash within her mind. How she dreamed of being a hero as a child. How Yumiko longed for the proud looks on the faces of her parents and sister. But the world is corrupt and the heroes and police that are supposed to protect the innocent are just as guilty as any villain. Her eyes narrowed. Her resolved steeled once more. Would these children live to be the proud heroes she once admired? Or would their corruption fall upon her blade? Only time will tell. And it was Shadow Khan's mission to purge the world of that corruption within the hero world.

"There is nothing more for me to see here. Their fate is yet undecided." She turns and begins to walk away from the sight of UA's gates. A transmission sounds in her earpiece.

Bzzt... Shadow Khan. We have a mission. Bzzt... Report back to base. Bzzt...

The transmission ends and Shadow Khan looks back to get one last glance at the school her dreams once looked to. "Shadow Dancer." A dark figure that looks exactly like her arises slowly from within her shadow. The shadow expands and envelopes Shadow Khan entirely before sinking into the ground. A puddle of shadow is all that remains before darting away at blinding speed.

Genji waited at the mission area for Yumiko, she probably wouldn't have expected him to be there waiting for her since they hadn't seen each other for quite sometime but that made him even more excited, she was always beautiful and now being able to see her again he was sure she would look even better than before. When she arrived he smiled brightly. "Koko! You look amazing! I missed you so much! Are ready for the mission?" He went over and hugged her before stepping back, he knew that she didn't like his hugs for too long but of course she liked them, everyone likes hugs right?

After Pressure had finished his speech, Inori made her way towards buss A and picked a seat as close to the entrance as she could. Once she sat down, she took a moment to inspect the other candidates in order to gauge the competition. Not that she was worried, she was more than sure that she'd be able to pass this exam. Partly because of her gadgets but mostly it was thanks to her vigilante activities. Unlike most kids her age, she had actual first-hand experience with fighting bad guys. Granted, all she'd done so far was catch a purse snatcher but it was more than most kids her age had done.

Confidently, she leaned back in her seat and smiled. She was finally going to prove just what she was capable of.

He shrugged "I dunno, probably because it's the most sought out class?" he asked as he entered the bus with Ryan
“Yeah, I’m just hoping I get in, if not..well...there’s always next time I guess?” He said as he shrugged his shoulders, trying to keep calm as to not accidentally set anything on fire. As he and Kira took a seat on the bus, He thought to himself aloud “Why have I felt like we were being watched entering the school?...Ah, Mi dispiace, I was thinking out loud again.”

"The joint thing isn't directly related to my Quirk, if I have to be precise. It happens sometimes when I breathe in deeply, which causes my lungs to expand and occupy more space inside my body. Sometimes it would nudge all of my joints for a bit. But that's not too related to my Quirk's abilities. Now, where should I start first...", Tobias said, while scratching his chin.

"So, thanks to my Quirk, my body kinda functions like a pressure vessel. You know, the large metal cylinder used to store a lot of compressed air? Compared to an ordinary person, my lungs are a lot bigger and better and my heart distributes a lot more oxygen to the blood than an ordinary person." He continued, slapping on his chest with a proud face. "With those compressed oxygen lying inside my body, I can blast them off via any part of my body. Here, lemme show you an example..." Tobias takes his hat off his head, then proceeds to place it over his clenched hand. Poofphhhh. The hand blew off a light, steam-like wave of air and the hat was sent flying straight up. It hit the ceiling before falling and landing gracefully on the Czech's head. He taps his head multiple times before resuming his explanation. "So... there you go. I can also blast off something a lot stronger, but I'm sure we're not allowed to do any potentially dangerous thing with our Quirks here."

Tobias paused for a brief moment, before asking Scarlett about her Quirk. "...And what's your Quirk?"

Scarlett listened as Tobias explained his quirk, nodding here and there to show she understood. Honestly, it was a great quirk with some pretty neat applications once you thought about, for both a normal hero and a rescue hero. She even liked the little display he gave, though when he asked about her's, she hesitated before answering. It was instinct really, in America she faced a lot of ridicule for it, and most of the time her showing it off could end badly. But he showed her his so...Scarlett took a shaky breath, before pulling a pocket knife off the waist band of her joggers.

"My quirk is, well, it's," She was visibly nervous though she honestly couldn't find a rational reason to be. This was a hero course, they couldn't be that bad. So, after a few seconds of nervous fiddling with the knife, she finally spoke. "I manipulate blood. Here, I'll show you since that's easier," She said quietly, before unfolding the knife and cutting her hand. Almost instantly her eyes went red, the veins in her hand and forearms glowing under her skin as her blood began floating upwards. It was in a little ball at first, before she raised her hand a bit. As she did, the blood swirled around her hand, and then down her arm, before coming back up into her palm. It then shot up, going around her head once, before it seemed to crystallize. In the hardened state, it just returned to her hand before liquifying again, and slowly teetering the cut on her hand, pooling at first, before returning completely.

The cut on her hand healed itself sitting a few seconds since it wasn't that bad, her eyes and arms returning to normal as she looked back at Tobias. She was quiet for a few secinds, again viable nervous, before she seemed to shake it off. At least a little bit. "So uh...yeah. hardening it and doing stuff like what I showed you aren't the only things I can do, but it's what I could safely do without getting any blood on the bus or my arms...or clothes." She was a bit nervous for his response but, maybe even a little hopeful that he wouldn't be to mean? "I think your quirk is way cooler."

large.jpg

Although Scarlett's Quirk was pretty fascinating for him, Tobias didn't seem surprised at all... mainly because the majority of the human population on Earth in the present days already possess unique Quirks, so it's not uncommon to see somebody with a Quirk he has never seen before. He thought a bit of how his Quirk and her Quirk were loosely similar in a way... Their Quirks manipulate things inside their body. Hers could shapen blood to whatever states of matter she wanted while his remains in a gas state. But, she's using her own blood while he's "borrowing" oxygen produced by nature. She seemed worried about something while showing him her Quirk, but he wasn't sure if he should butt into her affairs. Flattered by her comments, Tobias replied: "I'm not used to compliments... but thanks, I guess. Although your Quirk... Doesn't it take quite a toll on your body? By cutting yourself over and over again, you might catch an infection or something at one point."

Kira watched as Tobias demonstrated his Quirk and looked at Ryan "That's a pretty cool Quirk that he has there, huh?" he asked Ryan with a big smile on his face, then he saw Scarlett demonstrate her Quirk. "Woah, did she have to cut herself?" he asked Ryan and himself

Toka, as soon as all of the students were in the bus, went to the monitoring room with the other teachers "Hey" he said to them as he walked inside the room "What do you think about this group?" he asked Yamato and Yukiko "I wonder which ones'll make it." he said as he pulled out their records looking at their Quirks

She gave him a small smile, "A bit." However she raised the hand she had cut, the gash already having scabbed over, despite the fact it should still be bleeding. "My blood cells constantly regenerate to help with the open wounds and for when I use my quirk," She explained, putting her hand down. "It also kinda helps woth infections, but I use to get them alot as a kid. However, I don't reclaim dirty blood, aka, the stuff I've used in ways other that what I showed you. Like on villains or with the enviroment. What I use in the entrance exam will be left behind, or, I'll collect it in this," she said this whole pulling a biohazard bag halfway out of her pocket, "And throw it away. Of course, I don't always have to use my own blood." At the last comment, Scarlett kinda bit her lip as she didn't mean to say that, but she realized that it wasn't that bad. She wasn't going to use anyone else anyway, unless she absolutly needed to, but against fake villains should be fine. Scarlett slipped the bag back into her pocket, sitying up a little straighter as she did. "The cutting part I don't like because it kinda hurts, but it's not as bad as it seems," She said with a little chuckle. Scarlett paused for a second, folding the knife back up and clipping it back to waistband, before she looked back to Tobias. "So why did you decide to enroll in U.A?"

Tobias went into a pensive mood when Scarlett asked for his motive for enrolling in the UA High School. A few seconds later, he gave his response. "Why not?" He said bluntly, followed with a snigger. "Jokes aside, the main reason why I applied here was... to get stronger and defeat villains. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been here in the first place. Although I would have preferred chilling and relaxing in a nice place for the rest of my life, I felt like I needed to sacrifice my personal goal for a greater cause, since bad people have been appearing then and now, here and there a lot more recently," He pauses his speech, with a serious look on his face. The past events that occurred to him and his family flashed back inside his mind... he didn't want it to happen again. "Oh, and I also need the money. Lots o' money. Even though money doesn't necessarily solve all of your problems, it can still solve a lot of 'em nowadays," He ends with a cunning giggle.

She kinda chuckled, "I guess a lot of people are gonna have similar aspirations," She said, rubbing the back of her neck. "I want to be a hero because people with quirks like mine don't often have role models. You know, the scary quirks that people claim are better suited for villains. There's...only villains." She got quiet when she explained why she wanted to become a hero. She didn't say the entire truth. She wanted to prove to herself , and everyone who doubted her that even if she had his Quirk, she could be a hero. Her own mother didn't even believe in her, and while it hurt, it was just another hurdle that Scarlett had to overcome. Besides, she'd find people that would support her along the way, so it wouldn't be to bad.

Yamato Yanase

Yamato headed in to the Monitoring Room before Yukiko, and looked around the multiple monitors around the room. Each area has dozens of cameras so as every street and rooftops are properly and easily observed. While the areas slightly differ from each other to avoid being monotonous, each one still makes the perfect mock-urban battle environments that the test entails them to be in. Once inside and looking around the room, fellow teacher Tako(?) Kirayami, aptly named ShadowFire due to his powerful quirk. Like Yukiko, he's also in his hero costume, reminding Yamato of his own circumstance. Tako asks about the students casually, wondering which ones would be able to make it, pulling out a record of all the students who has enrolled. Yamato remembers of his own record of students once he saw Tako's, and pulled out his own.

"Well, Tako, I'm not sure yet which one of these will make it through the test; there are so many of them!" Yamato exclaims to the both of them, giving his opinion on the matter.

"... I guess when I spot someone doing good, I'll look over the records of them, and say my opinion." Yamato concluded. There were so many emitter, transformation, and mutation quirks going around this year, so it's difficult to account and remember them all, especially also that it's a waste to do so when the sad reality comes that many of them wouldn't be able to gain a lot of points and make up for it in the written exams.

"Anyway, what are you both scheduled to watch? I'm gonna be watching Area A." He asks the two. This schedule isn't all too strict, since all of the teachers are in the Monitoring Room already, so they should be fine watching somewhere else.

Yumiko Kurogane - Shadow Khan - Villain
A mote of shadow darts between buildings and people. It moves with a purpose. A goal that it must reach. To a normal person the mote of shadow would seem like a trick of the eye. A flicker of light that produced something for but a brief moment. But to Shadow Khan, the world is nothing but grays and pockets of darkness where shadows rest. Her entire being leaps from one pocket to the next without pause. Like steps along a path she strides along each shadow. Person to person then leaping into a dark alleyway. Her movement shifts and she is being pulled along as if tied to a weight. She let's the force take control. This force is Shadow Dancer helping her scale the walls of the building. Her goal is near. The shadowy mote exits the alleyway only to dive back into a crowd where it continues to slither and dart between shadows. She once more into an alleyway. A neon sign points the way down into an cafe. The sign reads Chat Noire Cafe, the Black Cat Cafe. She slips underneath the door. No customers save for a couple of bodies standing around. Shadow Khan recognized them. One of which she was not happy to see.

Shadow Khan began to emerge from her dark mote. The pool of shadows formed her head first and slowly her figure rose up from the ground. Shadow Dancer still enveloped her trying to shield her for what happened next. "Koko! You look amazing! I missed you so much! Are ready for the mission?" A voice shrilled into her ear before being embraced by the man. His name was Genji Rohashi, but in the villain world he goes by Raiden. A flamboyant man who has taken it upon himself to cling to Shadow Khan at every opportunity. Aside from his eccentric nature she had to acknowledge the fact that he has proven himself useful in the past. He quickly removed himself from her, much to her relief, and Shadow Dancer slowly returned to Shadow Khan's shadow. She couldn't move for a time as the distance from UA to here was far enough away that it would take at least 2 minutes for her to recover. The other body, a female, stood at the other side of the bar. She wore simple clothes with an apron over them that had the logo of the business on it. Her hair tied up in a pony tail much like Shadow Khan's. She was contact. An affiliate whom her "employer" used to relay jobs. "Good you're both here. The mission specs are on the counter. Looks like you both get to go on a recruiting mission." Another villain to join their little coalition? Shadow Khan didn't like doing these kinds of missions. Perhaps Raiden would do the talking in her stead? "This one is a real handful though. 20 year track record and recently went to MSP before breaking out. Looks like it wasn't as secure as they thought. Word from one of our contacts is that he just made his way from overseas and is setting up shop here."

A real villain. Not one of those wannabes this time. At least Shadow Khan could gather that much from what their contact was saying. She picked up the file and began to read it over. "What are the parameters for this recruitment?" She asked before folding and pocketing the document. "Chum the waters and if you think he's worth it reel'em in. Though I doubt you'll have any difficulties with him he's still a pro. So be on your guard. He's on the run so offer him sanctuary at one of our hideouts before you go off and try to ice him got it? Good now get going. I gotta open up soon and I can't have you two being here ruining business." She waved them away without a second thought. Shadow Khan simply nodded before Shadow Dancer embraced her once more. "Keep up." Is all she said to Raiden before sinking once more into the pool of shadow. The pool darted underneath the door and scaled the side of the building to the roof. She quickly emerged once more atop the building and began to gaze out into the city. "Shadow Dancer" Without another word, her shadow left her and dove into the crowds once more.

Yukiko Kurogane - Pro Hero Nightblade - Teacher
Unseen by her due to her antics, Yukiko was blinded by the disembodied voice that her heard. She looked around and noticed that Toka Kirayami was with them. "I must have gotten so into my act that I didn't notice him. I hope I didn't hurt his feelings. that wouldn't bode well to start the year off." She thought to herself before entering the monitoring room. Yukiko found a seat somewhere and looked back up at the monitors. Seems while she was away the other teachers had arrived and the cameras had been calibrated. Each sector was to be monitored by a different set of teachers. For Yukiko she would be monitoring Group A this year. Though overall she would be evaluating every group, her priority would be on Group A. As she stared into the monitors she is reminded of her entrance exams. She was one of the lucky ones who got accepted into the hero course. The practical exam was very similar to what the first years were about to do. They would be fighting faux villains in a mock battle set in an urban environment. It was standard procedure since most heroes would be working within urban settings like cities or small towns. The practical exam had two major criteria for evaluation. Combat Points which are the cumulative points attained from defeating the faux villains and Rescue Points which are points awarded to students who aided another student or students when they were in danger. Yukiko got by on a combination of the two thanks to her quirk. The written exam was simple enough. Almost anyone who studied during their years in middle school could ace it.

But this year would be a little different. Students from all over the world would be given a chance this time around so who knows what quirks she'd get to witness this year. She overheard Toka's question which brought her back from her trip down memory lane. "What do you think about this group? I wonder which ones'll make it?" A good question. One in which Yukiko had on her mind as well. "Only time will tell on who's gonna make it or not. All these kids are hoping to get into the hero course after all. But we know that that isn't an easy t hing to do." Yukiko's voice was somber. She knew that the test wasn't exactly set up in a way that would allow all of the students to shine. But she also knew that if the students were smart and thought about what it meant to be a hero that even those that didn't have flashy quirks could get into the hero course. "I'm interested in a couple of students at the moment, but let's see how they handle our simple mock battle first." She pulled out her own copy of the applicants and she had marked a few students in particular.

"Anyways what are you both scheduled to watch?" Yamato asked them. "I'm gonna be watching Group A." Yukiko grinned and returned her gaze back to the monitors. "I will also be observing Group A. I hope the applicants I've got my eyes on are in that group. What about you two? Any applicants catch your fancy? I mean we've got students from all over the world after all."
