Maya finished her wine. "Alright, we should go now..Love you Ava..! Trevor! Honey finish up, we have to go home to daddy!" She said.

 

[lassassin]

Trevor makes a sound of protest and he latches onto Ava. "I want to stay with Auntie Ava."

 

[iMeisaki]

Ava started to laugh. "Maya..will you let him stay and you can pick him up tomorrow morning?" Maya sighed heavily and laughed. "Oh..fine Mister! Listen to everything Ava has to say. Got it?!" She said.

 

[lassassin]

"Yay!" He lets go and circles around Ava, chanting "I am staying with Auntie~!"

Ava giggled as she took another sip of wine. "This'll be my last glass since I'm with him." She said grinning. Maya smiled and shook her head. "Alright. Anyway! How is this guy that you're dating..huh..? Elliot right? You have to show me him.. Okay?" She said laughing back. Ava smiled warmly. "He's really nice..he's..different. But I really like him. It's been two weeks now. He treats me well like we've been together for a year." She said giggling. Maya nodded and smiled. "Well, I'm glad you're happy. I should get going now, but I'll be alone since that husband of mine is out working. Ugh, just want to slap him." She muttered shaking her head. Ava nodded her head and giggled a little. "Alright, see you tomorrow then." She said, watching Maya leave. Ava plopped from her seat and hugged Trevor. "I have pajamas for you, let's get you changed." She said, picking him up and bringing him into the spare bedroom.

"Okay," Trevor becomes obedient and changes into his pajama.


At the same time, Nico wakes up with a start. He looks down at himself and scowls in disgrace. He had dreamt of Ava. Slowly he gets up and walks to the bathroom to clean himself up. 'What's wrong with me?' Nico thinks to himself as he sheds his clothes. 'I barely know her. She shouldn't be on my mind. She is-' Nico gets a flashback of when she was laughing in the ice cream parlor and shakes his head. He jumps into the shower and commences to clean himself.

Ava smiled and nodded her head, walking into the bedroom with him. She then helped him change out of his clothes. "Alright, I'll make you a snack, just rest on the couch." She said, lightly patting his back and she headed toward the kitchen.

"Auntie Ava?" Trevor asks as he goes to the couch and looks over it to see her in the kitchen. "Are you going to marry that guy?"

 

[iMeisaki]

Ava giggled as she was making the food and shrugged. "I don't know, I've only been with him for a little while. It takes time to know if he's the one or not. You'll understand more when you're old- Gah!" Ava flinched back a few drops hot water hit her wrist, burning it slightly. "Anyway, you'll understand when you're older. Be right back into the bathroom." She said, quickly running in there.

Trevor watches curiously as Ava runs to bathroom. The phone starts to ring. "Auntie Ava the phone." He jumps off the couch and knocks on bathroom door.

Ava had been running her finger under the sink and blowing on it slightly. However, the burn she got was almost serious. It hurt a lot but she took the phone from Trevor. "H-Hello?" She asked, still in pain from the burn.

"Hey, this is Haru Joseph. I mean Joseph Haru, is this Ava I am speaking to?" The other speaker spoke. He shouldn't be acting like this, he has spoken to her before but this time it felt different. He didn't know why.

 

[iMeisaki]

Ava nodded but clearly realized that he couldn't see her. What a clueless girl. "Yes! Hi Joseph!" She said with a smile as started looking for supplies to help the burn. "How are you?" She asked.

Unbeknownst to him, he started to smile as he heard her cheery voice. "I've been meaning to ask about your new designs for the building."

 

[iMeisaki]

"Oh yea! It's actually going really great. They assigned me to making a children's playroom that kids can stay in while they're parents work or have to be in a meeting. So I'll be designing that whole room which I'm really excited for! However, I just burned my hand pretty badly. So hopefully it won't be a conflict in my work." She laughed lightly at the thought but a bit worried inside.

"You're hurt!?" He jumps up and knocks over his coffee cup, spreading liquid all over his office desk. What is the matter with me, he asks himself, I don't remember caring much about her well being. But before he could even process what he was about to say, he tells Ava. "I'll be right there."

 

[iMeisaki]

Ava was a bit shocked at Joseph's actions. She then looked at her phone and saw it pitch black for the phone being hung up. She looked confused but then shrugged off. Ava smiled at Trevor. "What do you want to eat? I'll give you junk food but you can't tell your mom. Got it?" She asked with a small laugh.

"I won't." Trevor grins. The teeth that were missing now slowly growing back.

 

[iMeisaki]

Ava had laughed and went to the cabinet to get some candy and chips. She then handed him everything. "Alright, here you go. Not a peep from you or else you're getting all the bad candy next time you come!" She laughed.

Trevor giggles and takes the candy and chips, wolfing them down. "Can we watch a movie?"

 

[iMeisaki]

"Sure. What do you want to watch? Oh wait! No R movies. That.. You'll mother will kill me." She laughed as she put a cold wash cloth of her hand and walked over to the couch.

Trevor looks at her hand, his mouth full of Skittles. "Wha' happ-eh' der?"

 

[iMeisaki]

"Oh, just burned myself while making dinner. No worries though. Just keep eating your skittles." She with a small smile as she turned on the tv.

Trevor looks back at the Tv and while half way through Wreck It Ralph, there is a knock at the door.

Ava had kept the wash cloth on her wrist and heard the knock. She then made her way to the door and saw that it was Joseph. "Oh hey Joseph..!" She smiled.
