My Flower Boy (1x1)

"W-well I mean you were on the pain medication so you were laughing a lot." She answered looking out the window. Her hair was wet and made her shoulders damp.

"Oh," he sighs. "Okay, I thought it was something worse." A rain drop drips onto Ava's cheek, he reaches to wipe it.

Her face turned red as he touched her cheek and she quickly moved away almost falling down. "Wo-woah!" She said almost falling.

She looked at him and carefully took her arm out of his reach. "It's uh fine. Was that all you wanted to talk about..?" She asked him carefully choosing her words.

'It's now or never.' Elliot goes to the opening of the pavilion, watching the drizzle turn into a downpour. "Remember yesterday? With that Joseph guy? Well they reason he acted strangely was because of me..."

"I...I know..." She moved out of his reach and stood across from him in the rain. "You showed me..." She said.

She looked down and nodded her head. "I won't tell anyone if that makes you feel better." Ava was a little scared Elliot because she didn't know what had happened.

She nodded in agreement. "I.." She didn't what to say, she was astonished of what he was and she became speechless. She was soaked but didn't really care.

Elliot grabs her by the hands, dropping to his knees. "Just know that I did it because that guy was a fool to dump you like that."

"I was going to find out sooner or later. I was too blind to see it even though it was in front of me." She stepped back. "You don't need to..worry about me. Really." She said.

He looks at his hands that once were holding Ava's hands. "You want nothing to do with me, huh?" He gets up slowly and dust his pants, keeping his eyes lowered.

"No it's not that! I just don't really know you an-" She looked at him dusting himself and notice his shirt was starting to get bloody where he had been stitched up. She pointed "Yo-you're bleeding Elliot. Here, I have stuff to help at my place, let's go." She grabbed him arm and started pulling him lightly in the direction of her house.

He followed slowly. His mind was all muddled up. 'Why does she wanna help me? Why does she care? She doesn't know me...'

"We gotta pick up the pace a little bit..Before the rain gets worse." She opened the umbrella and raised it on her tiptoes to cover both of them. "My place is at the end on this street." She kept holding his arm trying to make him go a little faster to get there.

She went up the two steel doors and brought out her keys and unlocked the doors. When she opened them, the ground was wet and the dirt was damp. They walked on the stepping stones and stepped onto the wood flooring. They were finally out of the rain.

"Sit..." She looked around "Anywhere and just make yourself comfortable I guess. I'm going to get my first aid kit and a couple towels." She went into the bathroom and came out with two towels and a first aid kit.

She walked up to him. "Okay...just...lift up your shirt so I could put a new cloth on it to stop the bleeding..." She tried to say in a non-awkward way.

He obeyed and entered her house. Elliot admired the architecture before selecting a seat on a stool. He sat idly, watching as she disappeared and reappeared. When she commanded to lift his shirt he blushed but remembered his injury.

"Okay," he lifted his forest green vest up with his uninjured arm, revealing his button up shirt. Elliot chuckled nervously.

"This uh will take a while." He explained while fumbling trying to unbutton them with that one hand. It took him ten minutes but his shirt was finally off but he still needed the muscle shirt. He lifted it off and finally showed his skin. He has a small built on him.

She blushed a little as he was taking off his shirt but kept holding the cotton balls, rubbing alcohol, and a new bandage for the wound. Once he finished taking his shirt off, she told him kindly.

"This will...sting a little."

She cringed as she rubbed the alcohol filled cotton ball cleaning up the blood. As soon as she was done, she put the bandage on. Then she threw out the cotton balls and came back to him.

"You're clothes are wet and your shirt has blood on it, do you think you can wait here while I clean your clothes? I have spare clothes in the bedroom and I can get you a different shirt and pants to wear..." She asked nicely. She wanted to help since he saved her

When the cotton ball touches his skin, he cringes at the sting and the coldness. He relaxes after she puts the band-aid on.

"That's nice of you." He gets off the stool and grabs all his shirts in a wad.

"Where is the laundry room?"

"It's to the right of us and through the first sliding door, the second is the bathroom and the third is my room so it's the first." She pointed and smiled.

"I'll get you the clothes and you can change in the bathroom. Anyway, I'll go get them." She walked into the bedroom going into the closet getting a box of clothes. She got a pair of jeans and a long-sleeve gray t-shirt.

"Oh okay." he looks at the hall way and makes his way to the laundry room. He slides the door and looks at the washer. Elliot furrows his eyebrows and turns the dial to light. 'How do I turn it on?' He pushes the dial and it turns on.

"Oh." He adds detergent, fabric softener and his clothes.

"That should be it." He closes the lid and slides the door closed.

"Now, the bathroom is the next one." Elliot says and points to the door. He opens and closes it but the door stays open slightly, he doesn't see because his back is turned. He starts to take of his jeans.
