Lilith stood in her wedding dress taking a deep breath as the maid put her veil over her face. She always imagined her wedding being a happy day, one full of love and family, not the business side of it. Instead of marrying the man of her dreams she was marrying a complete stranger. The last of her father's children and the only girl you would think he had a soft spot for her. However that was not the case, after her mother died he became a cold heartless man to her and this was his way of finally getting rid of her.
Tom stood in his house helping Aleister get ready for his wedding "This will go fine man, dont worry." He said sighing some. He knew their don was punishing Aleister for his screw up a few months ago but this was a bit cruel to make him get married so soon after he lost his family
He looked over at his brother and frowned. “I don’t understand why they can’t just have you get married instead. He’ll they could have put you on that hit instead. They all know that you would have done it.” He muttered, sorting his sleeves out.
Carmen was sat in the room with them both shaking her head some. “The day you work out how Tony’s head works you let me know.” She told aleister, glancing over at Tom and smiled tiredly at him. “Anyway. Things will change when Tom takes over.” She pointed out and winked at her man.
Tom sighed some and gave a nod "Yeah they will, and look I've heard that Sarafyan's daughter is nice so atleast you aren't getting a bitch." He said trying to find an upside in this
Lilith looked over at her eldest brother as he came in and frowned some "I don't want this..." she whispered trying not to cry but it was hard for her. She wanted to be in love and to be loved by her family. The only one who seemed to care at all was her eldest brother Jeremy.
Aleister nodded and glanced over at them both sighing a little. “Can you guys just go for a little bit?” He muttered frowning as he straightened his tie, the only thing on his mind was his wife. The wife he’d lost and their little girl.
Carmen nodded and stood up, taking Toms hand and taking him out of the room. “Your father.... is trying to break him.” She muttered, frowning at her fiancé.
Tom nodded some as he walked with her "I know...if I ever start to show signs of being like him you slap the shit out of me and set me straight." He muttered
Lilith stood outside the chapel when it was time and took a deep breath holding her brother's arm tightly as she made her way in and down the isle to her new husband. She stared at him through her veil and had to admit he was a handsome man atleast.
She smiled and shook her head some going out to the car with him. “Can I have that in writing?” She teased him, rubbing his arm
Jeremy gave her arm a squeeze while they walked trying to reassure her. He was working closely with the mob so he would be around to see her a lot anyway but he knew this was far from what she wanted.
Tom chuckled some and drove to the chapel sitting down on their designated side glancing over at the big Armenian family that sat opposite them for the bride. He stood once it was time and glanced over at Aleister giving him a reassuring look
Lilith walked up to him and took in a shaky breath once he flipped the veil from over her face. She could tell he hated this just as much as she did, but she prayed that he would atleast be a good man to her. Even if he didnt love her.
Carmen frowned over at them some “They weird me out.” She mumbled, gripping toms hand a little, sighing a bit seeing the look on aleisters face.
He looked down at her and frowned a little before his face settled into a blank expression, going through the motions with the whole thing until having to repeat the vows, having to force himself to get the words out.
Tom squeezed her hand and sighed some "Shh, its alright." He muttered
Lilith looked at her brother with pleading eyes before she looked back up at the man named Aleister before nodding softly "I do.." she whispered before she went off with him "I promise to be a good wife, I won't ask questions and I'll make good face." She said softly repeating what her father had told her
She frowned glancing up at him a little bit stayed quiet until everyone was starting to walk out to get to the reception and she walked next to Tom, holding his hand tightly. “I don’t feel good about how tonight will go.” She muttered. “Armenians and Italians under one roof? Not historically a good idea” she pointed out.
He walked back with the woman until they were taken to their own private car and he stayed quiet half the drive until finally looking at her. “I’m sure you’re not happy about this either.... but please don’t be afraid of me. I won’t hurt you.” He promised her.
Tom nodded and sighed some "I get it,but its a truce. This is supposed to bring us together." He explained
Lilith sat across from him in the private car nodding some "Thats good to know." She said quietly looking over at him giving a small smile trying to seem okay
She sighed a little bit nodded and followed him to their car. “You know if your dad wanted grandkids again so bad maybe you should explain to him why we aren’t giving him any.” She muttered, sounding a little put out.
Aleister sighed some. “But don’t expect a relationship either. My wife is dead. And that’s how it stays.... you will never replace her. You couldn’t.” He muttered.
Tom sighed heavily and nodded "Trust me I've tried and there isn't any gettimg through to him." He muttered shaking his head some "Aleister isn't even blood and he takes all this out on him."
Lilith nodded some "I know....I didn't expect anything." She whispered giving a heavy sigh as she looked out the window trying to not cry
She rolled her eyes as he missed her point completely. “No but you both grew up together. He sees him as a son.” She pointed out.
He frowned looking at her with disgust a bit. “You can do whatever the hell you want. Long as we look good at functions. Don’t waste your fuckin tears.” He muttered
Lilith pulled herself together and gave a nod staring blankly straight ahead "Yes sir." She whispered feeling like she was with her father again
Tom sighed some giving her hand a squeeze "Lets just try to have a nice night yeah? This is all a bunch of bullshit." He muttered as he drove to the reception
she grumbled some and shook her head “fine... but all I wanna do is be at home... I have work to do.” She told him frowning as he parked and she got out.
He shook his head and glared at her, he had no reason to be angry st her but right now he was seething and she was the only person there.
Lilith walked out with him and into the reception seeing everyone there to greet them. She took her spot at the main table next to him and smiled shaking hands with everyone who walked by to congradulate them
Tom walked in with her and kissed her temple gently "We'll stay an hour, then I'll take you home and show you just what you've done to me in that dress." He muttered in her ear with a smirk before pinching her ass playfully
She laughed a bit and kissed his cheek. “That sounds good to me.” She murmured and went to the table with him, frowning when she saw she’d been put next to Lilith. “Who did the place settings?” She hissed at Tom.
Aleister stayed quiet and glanced over at Tom shaking his head some with a sigh, greeting a few people but was otherwise quiet until everyone had finally ally sat down.
Tom sighed heavily "Not sure, I think the families helpers did." He muttered looking over at Lilith and Aleister trying to give him a small smile
Lilith looked down at her future 'family' and gave a small smile. She turned to the woman next to her and lifted her hand to shake hands "Hi, I'm Lilith."
She shook her hand and just nodded. “Carmen.” She muttered then turned so her back was to her some and just sipped her wine watching Tom talk to his mom.
Aleister smirked some. “She’ll warm up when she’s not bored out of her mind.” He told Lilith and sighed a bit.
Lilith gave a small nod and tensed when she saw her father come into the room. She hadn't seen him at the ceremony but she now saw him with Tony chatting away. She took steady breaths feeling her heart rate increase as she felt his eyes lock on her.
Tom sat up straighter when he saw Frank Sarafyan come into the room and immediately start talking with his father "Why did you let him do this to Aleister mom? The man is still heart broken about Zelina." He muttered to his mother
Carmen frowned some, rubbing his back gently while Leanna pointed out she didn’t exactly have much say in it. “Things will settle. I doubt they’ll actually be a couple. It just has to be for show baby.” She murmured to him.
He sighed quietly as he watched the don walking down towards his seat, waiting until everyone had finally settled and started drinking his glass of wine quick as he could. He wanted this night to be over already. He wanted to be home with his family more than anything and what was hurting more than anything was that they all knew it had been one of the Armenians that has taken out his girls but that was still the family he’d been forced into
